Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Glasnevin, Dublin

This is a quirky unit in a quiet part of the city. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk to some of the more lively parts of Dublin but a good area if you don’t want to be right near a bunch of bars/pubs. I did not realize prior to booking but, the second room is not attached to the unit. You have to walk through the small back garden for access.

The house was exactly as described and it was extremely easy to get into at check in. It’s spacious and was certainly surface clean. The rooms are big and the beds comfortable. We have two small children, one of which is 18 months, and it was tricky to manage her in the space because of the stairs, but that is not a fault of the house. The master bedroom is upstairs so you would need to sleep on a seperate floor to your children if you did want to sleep up there. The hosts were very quick to respond and very helpful.

Lucian was a great host and was easy to communicate with.

It was a nice stay in Mary’s house. She had good recommendations for the area and was very attentive.

The house was comfortable and well equipped for a family holiday. Cooking and eating at home was easily accomplished! Lots of space to get out of each other’s way or hang together at the large kitchen table or comfy couches in the living room. A short drive or a long walk to the beach. Close walk to the playground, with tennis courts and a soccer net. There is also a large grass area in front of the house for a game of football. Centrally located and easy drive to several destinations and daily activities. Highly recommend!

Saskia's home is just perfect and they're the perfect host! Saskia communicated frequently, clearly and was so friendly. The house was immaculate, and cozy. We booked it so that we could be in Ireland for Christmas with our family. It was twenty minutes from Mullingar - an easy quick drive. The house was so spacious. At no point did we feel on top of each other - as would have in a hotel room. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and stepping out the front door every morning with a cup of tea to take in the fields. The area is so tranquil and quintessential Ireland. I would recommend this home to EVERYONE!!! Anytime we go back to Ireland we will be booking Saskia's home!!! WE LOVED IT!

House was perfect, had everything and more, Àine’s bathroom and kitchen had so much provided, toothbrush/paste, razors, most herbs and spices I have seen in airbnb. I wasn’t a tourist, attending a family party in Naas, so house was perfect to get in and out, under €10 cab late night. Communication was brill, Àine even sent me a message to say she forgot to leave butter (she had left bread, cereal and milk). Enjoy

Me and my family had a great stay, the apartment has more than everything you need, there were coffee capsules and plenty to bread as well enough for our stay. It felt like home! Definately recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Helen’s apartment. Couldn’t beat the location. The place was clean and just as described. Helen was proactive and very prompt with communications. Would stay again!

Tom and Maura were excellent hosts, the place was so tidy and easy to find. Me and my family stayed the night after attending a wedding. We checked in earlier in the day. Maura and Tom were super flexible in when we could check in. When we got back from the wedding later that evening the apartment was cosy and warm. The apartment was super clean, there was lots of space for me and my family, they left us a hamper of treats and even had some Christmas decorations up.

We have been staying 5 days in the apartment. Everything was perfect. As described in the listing. The TV was a little complicated to use and it had to be reset because it was constantly wrong. The neighborhood is a bit far from the center but the communication by bus is perfect. One day we were even walking as the buses were suspended due to the weather weather. The rental car we put it in parking inside the premises without a problem.

Visited my sister for Xmas who lives in Rathmines. This place is great, quaint, and walkable from tons of great spots. It’s just right for a single or a couple, and the washer/dryer saved me. Def would recommend, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. Expect to see me rebook!
