Me and my partner had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Frasers riverside cabin. The place was immaculate and well decorated. This was a very private cabin, even private for taking a bath. Full kitchen so was easy to prepare food and Fraser left us a bottle of Prosecco and crisps, which was a welcomed surprise. Fraser communicated well and help us out with any questions. The location was great as we could drive around 5/10 to other places. Only thing I would recommend is to bring sleep masks with you as the skylight really did let the light in. (There are sleep masks provided). Would definitely stay here again :)

The West End Loft - 5* - Free Private Parking!

Lovely loft, in a great location at the heart of the west end. Beautifully decorated abode, offering surprisingly spacious rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. The parking lane was compromised during the day, but as we had no plans to use our car once’s parked and walk everywhere, we found the friendly and kind interactions with the locals and workmen each day, positively impacted our stay. I look forward to returning again in the future.

My best friend and I rented the place to celebrate our birthday with some beautiful countryside and a hot tub, it really exceeded our expectations. We had issues turning the hot tub on and off again but in terms of using it was perfect. All the amenities were in great working order and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend for families as well with the massive garden and barbecue:)

Had fantastic time in Lisa's flat even with Storm Eowyn keeping us indoors on the Friday. This is the second time I have booked it the first being for my son, daughter & son-in-law for my father's funeral. This time it was for my sister and myself. Can't complement it enough and its a lovely place to stay between Greenock and Gourock. We will use it the next time we visit Scotland.

It was an absolutely lovely place, super clean and modern! It's at a great location, close to the cathedral and at a quick walking distance from the train station. It was somewhat cold when we visited Dunblane, but it this place was very warm and cozy. I can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dunblane! And what beautiful place Dunblane is! Thank you Jo!

The cabin is gorgeous, has everything you need for a relaxing peaceful stay. The views are spectacular! we stayed after our longhaul flight from Brisbane and it was the perfect way to reset for our trip. Wishing I had booked longer. The tub and fireplace were highlights for us. the hosts were lovely and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Dan was a great host and his place is just as described. Lots of good beaches and things for the children to do are not too far away. Its a shame that the bridge over the railway line to the beach is closed but this is beyond Dan's control.!

We absolutely loved staying at Julie and Ians place. The scones and prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch and a fab way to start of our weekend! The location was just stunning and we enjoyed having a wee dip in the river at the end of the garden! Would highly recommend this place as it was perfect for making a nice meal and enjoying each others company. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay at the barn and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to unwind. A really lovely caravan, very comfortable, with everything you could need. The kitchen has a great stove and all the small appliances. The lounge is a great place to relax. I loved that there are two bathrooms. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and the bedding was good. No towels, so bring your own. We did not use any of the facilities on the park as we were travelling around all day. However, the people seemed friendly and the park is well maintained. Could use some trees though. Saltcoats is a lovely place and so are many of the other towns around. We loved our stay and Steven is a great host.

We had everything we needed during our stay! What stood out for us was the location with beautiful views and lots places to walk and cycle. We felt very relaxed after using the hot tub. I would highly recommend staying at this place if you would like to visit the Queen Elizabeth forest.

Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

We had a wonderful stay here at this quiet cottage! All rooms on the ground floor. There was milk, tea, coffee and some treats waiting when we got in, which always adds a nice touch! Very warm with the heating, which was great as it was cold outside! Town is about a 15 minute walk away if you cut through the woods (have to cross the busy road, but besides that a nice quiet walk). We ate at both the Village Rest and the Loch Lomond arms and recommend both places. Proximity to town was one of the highlights for us as we would rather walk everywhere (although bring a headlamp to walk back at night). We loved using the wood stove! Made for a cozy fall evening. The perfect spot for us (the pictures don’t do it justice!). Also, one of my pet peeves about cottages is when there is limescale build up on the kettle - and this one had none! Would love to return!

Sarah's Ivy Lodge glamping tent was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. it was just the right mix of the great outdoors and the luxuries of being at home. it was my first time using a wood burning stove, thankfully Sarah has a handful guide in the binder. the hot tub was great fun and the children loved the mud kitchen. there are many great walks all around the property, which we thoroughly enjoyed. my only regret was not staying longer. thank you Sarah for such a memorable stay.

Rachel’s Farm ‘The Cottage’ was exactly as advertised. Perfect for the wife and I to have a last minute romantic weekend away. Booking was so easy, the property was very homely and welcoming and we immediately felt the worries of the world disappearing as we relaxed into the hot-tub listening to the wildlife. Also after a day of exploring the area to be able to slip into that awesome rolltop bath. I’m one of the larger built gentleman, and to have a bath that I can lay in and fit was sublime. You almost had to charge me for the cost of that bath as I was tempted to bring it home with me. 👍and then to climb into that bed. I haven’t slept that well for months..! Honestly, if you are considering staying here, I would 100% recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

After a long drive, we really appreciated arriving at Richard’s place which had the heating and lamps on - very welcoming. The space was comfortable, quiet and perfect for our short visit. Being able to have my morning coffee outside on the bench was a bonus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We stayed here a few years ago but loved it so much we returned. Happy to report it was still a great place to say. So much space that a group of 12 (6 kids) could disappear into their own spaces or gather together for meals and games. East access to city or countryside. The castle is very well equipped and beds are comfortable. Hope this was not our last visit.
