In winter there are nice ski slopes right outside the door and the atmospheric cabin combined with the sauna creates the perfect winter experience. The house is also suitable for those who need a place to stay for a shorter period of time while renovating their house, or looking for something new. The staff cage belongs to the small farm Kollbækk. Large green areas and a dog farm with houses are available for the guests. The place is close to Mjøsa about 1 hour drive from Gardermoen, the air bus stops 200 m from us. Within 15 minutes there is Totenåsen with plenty of hiking opportunities winter as summer, Norwegian Horse Center Starum, Gjøvik and Toten golf club Sillongen, Gjøvik town with mountain hall and wheel steamer Skibladner. An hour drive to Mjøsbyene Lillehammer and Hamar.

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.
