Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Gimli

Winter at the Little Retreat is as beautiful as are all seasons of the year. Great hiking thru the woods, the wood fired sauna a delight, calm solitude and every comfort of home away from home. It is a magical place for the heart and soul.

The house was a great find for our three family Christmas celebration. 4 bedrooms were cozy and clean. The house has more space than it might seem from the pictures. 7 adults, 1 kid and two dogs had enough spots to chill and do their own things without disturbing people around. The territory of the back yard is huge. The owners even decorated it slightly with a snowplow for our visit. The front lawn is also huge, there is a good 50m from the door to the house of the guys in front of us . The owner was sheer hospitality, nothing but friendly and prompt replies to our requests and questions. The kitchen is fully equipped and has enough plates and forks for a large group of people. Appliances were clean. To summarize - great house. Will be back

I was brought to Gimli under very sad circumstances. I didn’t know how long I was going to need to stay as well. I found Rachelle and Brandon’s home while searching for somewhere that would be more suited to mine and my grandfathers needs. We wanted to be able to cook and my grandpa needed space for his CPAP machine. This home met our needs and more. We ended up having to stay for almost 2 weeks and Rachelle made it easy to extend our visit while we navigated a difficult time for our family. The only good thing about our trip was being able to stay in such a lovely, safe, comfortable and cozy home. It provided us a calm home base where we were able to think clearly about everything happening. I am so thankful to Rachelle and Brandon for providing such a beautiful place to stay during a cold snap on top of everything! The beds were comfortable! We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and being able to do laundry was awesome! Thank you :)

It was a happy surprise that the place was available over the new year's holiday. Chris and Jessica have a modern, comfortable, and clutter-free home with all the essentials needed for a quiet and relaxing stay. It was a bargain over the other listings on short notice during the holidays. The Wi-Fi was appreciated by my husband who needed to get work done while staying there. Lots of places to visit and really enjoyed the surrounding area for wintertime adventuring. They were very easy to speak with and responded very quickly to any questions. The washer & dryer was a lovely plus. Got lost in the incredible spaces of the General Store.

We had a great time at the cabin. The wood burning fireplace and hottub made for a very relaxing stay on a freezing cold winter weekend. The cabin is as pictured and the sunsets over the lake are beautiful. Overall would return!

The little blue house was exactly as described and Kolton’s instructions on how to use the tv, hot tub, lock up were so clear and detailed that it was seamless. The out door shower and hot tub were so relaxing to use at the end of the day. The closed in gazebo was perfect for morning coffee and we enjoyed pizza on the deck in the comfy chairs. Helpful restaurant brochures, plenty of towels, air con, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer all supplied, added to making the stay so lovely. The back sliding door is a bit heavy to open and close but that was the only drawback. So much offered in this place that I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Kolton!
