Townhouse holiday rentals in Georgetown

Charming house full of low-fuss character. The stained glass doors and windows create an intimacy that a modern apartment/hotel will struggle to match. We enjoyed the traditional streetscape from the front balcony while we waited out a rain-shower & there's relaxed temple greenery at the rear. The area had lots of convenient amenities immediately local to it, and was a short Grab-ride into all attractions in Georgetown. Jasmine was reachable throughout our visit to ensure everything went smoothly. (Occasional pedestrian and traffic noise at night as you'ld expect from a central city location; it was in keeping with the area and didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay)

I think the place was great, with windy balcony and clean bathroom, and a living room. just that it needs 2 steep stair case to reach our room on 3rd floor and my wife was having leg pain with 2 heavy luggages, we did not know this before. overall great place for those with no mobility issue.. and host is flexible with timing, big thanks for that

Very spacious place to stay and suitable for furkid as well. Alvin the host is very helpful and informative. Parking is difficult to find but Alvin has helped with full day parking pass. Overall the place is comfortable and jacuzzi is a bonus. We appreciate that this place is pet friendly and there are a lot of pet friendly eateries nearby, highly recommended.

We will define come back to Penang and stay with Howie. The most friendly and helpful host ever. Great location as well

Abidin’s hospitality was above and beyond. Super helpful, accommodating, and kind. He made me feel like home right away. The room was sparkling clean, with new everything, spacious and bright. I could easily spend a month or two in that spot, just walk to the beach every day and enjoy nature. Can’t recommend enough.

Good stay, and very near to Penang hill, almost contactless check in and clear instruction written. Although is a double decker, but is very stable.

I loved my stay there. The host has been very helpful. The instructions were clear. The washing machine is a very useful amenity. The place was clean and hygienic. On top of it, the price is quite affordable.

Terbaikkk, great to stay.. very responsive host

New listing, so owner is learning the ropes. But his assistant very open to suggestions from people who stay here. Assistant said they will remedy bed situation, so that friends travelling together will each have a bed. Place is very special, across from Straits museum of items found from ship wrecks over centuries!

Loved the room as it was spacious. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was helpful to us too. Overall, good stay!

I had nothing to complain about! the room was very clean and well kept , the place was close to lots of restaurants and very lively places Hot , cold water, and small fridge available in the living room Very decent waiting room and correct wifi Ida was always available for information or help! I'll be happy to go back if I go back to George town Amazing experience.

Great location for walking to many of the interesting sights in the area. Ida and her husband took care of every detail to make sure they made the best use of space in each room. Due to availability, I had to book 2 sparate rooms during my stay. They were extremely accomodating with move times.

Great place to stay in for big groups. The place is clean and owner was very responsive to our questions. However the address may be confusing for the grab drivers.

House interior is clean, comfortable, and looks new. Host was prompt in replies and patient in explaining how to use the facilities. Was unsure of how to watch the news on tv and host provided assistance promptly even though it was quite late at night. Host is assuring and reliable. The check in and out process was smooth as well. Aircon is cold and wifi works well! Just some FYI - body soap and shampoo provided is 2-in-1, smells nice and is okay. But if you are particular about it, you may want to bring your own. 2 of the bedrooms are near to the back which faces a road, so it is prone to vehicle noises. However, other bedrooms are fine so light sleepers can just choose the quieter bedrooms instead. Overall a good stay and will recommend and come back again :)

MK’s place is at a strategic location. Home is lovely accommodating up to 12 person though we have 9 only. However, home doesn’t come with utensils and cutleries, we had to get paper plates and plastic fork and spoon to eat our takeaways. Cleanliness is ok for the home, environment is good, while the dining room is outdoor. Overall, stay is ok if you’re not planning to spend the whole day at home. Is considerably mid point for places to visit. Host (MK) is really responsive and accommodating. Thanks for hosting my family.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Joyce's house. Brilliantly located in Georgetown, the house is well placed to walk to most central locations, like the Chew Jetty, the Blue Mansion, Armenian Street, Khoo Kongsi temple, and all of the Georgetown food places you need to try. For our family of six there was adequate space, as well as extra bedding. All beds were comfortable, and both showers worked well. If you find stairs hard to tackle, there's a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen has all you need if you want to cook at home, and Joyce left plenty of water bottles to start us off with. As for responsiveness, Joyce's prompt responses helped us locate a great steamboat restaurant for our Christmas Day meal, and she also gave advice on parking. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

the home is great ... ample rooms and space for a big entourage ... however parking is an issue especially if you have more than two cars in the group ... neighbours most of them are not so welcoming especially if you park in front of their house / shop ... but have to be mindful as road space is very limited in the area ...

This place really recommended for big group. I had really wonderfull stay here for 3 night. The bed and pillow feels like staying in hotel. House was super clean as we checked in and minimalist which i like. Cher is responsive host she solve the problem very fast and let us check in early . Btw our house change to number 42 and it even more better than the one we booked. Fyi, the house number 42 just 2 blocks away from temple. For those uncomfortable you can asked other unit that Cher's hosted she can help you with that. Overall we really enjoy our stay 😄😄😄
