Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Gentilly, New Orleans

Wonderful stay at a thoughtful amazing space developed for comfort. We loved the location and getting around the city with Uber was a breeze. I would stay here again for sure. Matty was so quick to respond on questions… Truly enjoyed all amenities! Happy New Year

Everything was great. The host was very responsive. It was the perfect size for a couple and our two dogs. It was cute with Tiffany blue appliances. It has a cute little fenced-in backyard for the pups. We stayed 12 days over Christmas and NYE so it was great having a washer and dryer. We fell asleep in the very comfortable recliners A LOT haha. We would definitely stay here again and plan to very soon!

We had a great time at this air bnb. It was comfortable and cozy for the 6 of us, super clean, and very comfortable beds. We were able to walk to the French Quarter, Marigny and Bywater and grab coffee and groceries close-by. The hosts were incredibly responsive.

Lianna was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Her home was very clean and had very cute touches such as her artwork etc as she is an artist.

Davey was an extremely gracious host all the way, friendly and very easy to communicate with. The bnb was exactly like the photos and spotlessly clean. There were plenty of thoughtful amenities (I was especially grateful for real creamer for the coffee! And a few snacks waiting for us since he knew we were arriving too late to go out). We were staying in New Orleans over NYE, and after the violent incident and the rescheduled Sugar Bowl game Davey knew that our travel plans might be affected so he let us know that the BNB was available for longer in case we got stranded. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet and feels safe. There are several fantastic restaurants walking distance from the BnB (the Joint is the best BBQ I've ever had, and we loved Elizabeth's so much we went there twice! Also the Country Club was a great fancy choice for NYE) We had an overall great stay and would happily stay again.

I highly recommend this stay. Can't beat the price for the neighborhood - very accessible to everything you would want to see and do as a tourist in New Orleans. We enjoyed evenings on Frenchman Street - only a 5-7 minute Lyft away, eating in the Bywater district - only a 5 minute Lyft away, and walking around the neighborhood to local bars and restaurants like Morrow, Honey's and St. Roche Market. You cannot beat this location. The beds and couches were very comfortable and cozy. The bathroom and kitchen and air/heat worked great and was very clean. Rik was an extremely accommodating and responsive host and went out of his way to make sure we were all set. Southern hospitality is real in the Big Easy! New Orleans is a city, and like all cities, it is a block-by-block situation. We felt very safe and had no issues. We will be back, thank you so much, Rik!

Great location, half block from Saint Charles Street Car, few blocks from Magazine. Beautiful court yard and quite area. Many nice snacks provided and was left a champagne bottle for New Years.

I travel alot and stay at a bunch of airbnbs. usually I don't leave reviews due each one having issues. I'm leaving one with Garrett because this was by far the best airbnb I've ever stayed at. Great area, loved the tech in this house and the hot tub was great. easy instructions for the house as well. you won't be disappointed.

We loved our stay at George’s place. It had a beautiful character of a New Orleans home. Great location and I cannot believe there was a driveway that we could fit two cars on. There was a great restaurant two blocks away that fabulous. It was close enough to restaurants, but not too close where the light night bars kept you up. We slept great and could not hear any outside noise, which is rare and many Airbnb‘s. He even took the time to agree upon arrival and when we saw him, he checked to see if we were happy. In addition, the check out instructions were so easy. Some Airbnb‘s make you practically strip the bedding and wash the sheets. we were there for a conference at the Sheraton and it wasn’t easy 10 minute Uber ride. We will definitely stay there again. Gabrielle's apartment is a wonderful place to stay during a visit to NOLA. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood with unique, colorful architecture and lots of delicious restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and bars. We enjoyed how walkable and pedestrian friendly NOLA is--walking downtown was very easy. The Airbnb itself was beautiful and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Our stay was great until it wasn't but this was not by any means Matt's fault. My husband and I were there for the Sugar Bowl but went out for New Years Eve. Due to the unfortunate events, we had to leave a day early because we didn't feel safe there anymore. I say this to say that Matt was so kind enough to issue us a refund for the night we didn't get stay and was understanding of leaving early. The Airbnb was quite, private, and neighbors around were very kind. There was plenty of space for our dog to roam around in the backyard and inside. I wish we could have stayed longer with our pets and got to enjoy NOLA longer, but I am thankful for the quick responses to our questions and care during this time. Thank you for making check in and our fast and sudden check out so easy.

I was in New Orleans to help my daughter recover from surgery. I was looking forward to enjoying my stay in her beautiful, clean and peaceful guest house, and to exploring the great neighborhood. All was going well, but the day after my daughter’s surgery I had a car accident. Darleen was unbelievably helpful and empathetic to my situation, and help me sort things out when I had to cut my stay short. Darleen was truly the best host I have ever encountered in my travels. I hope to return someday under better circumstances!

Great place to stay in NOLA. Felt right at home. Place was extremely cute and great neighborhood. Close to maple leaf, Jacques Imos, and cooter browns. Dat Dog was a nice lunch surprise.

Would definitely stay here again.

This property was in the perfect location in the Garden District. We were just a few steps from endless restaurants and shops. The home is clean and comfortable with modern updates and the host responded quickly to all communications. We will book this location again.

Rachel was amazing! So helpful and so nice! We can’t wait to come back and stay with her and her cute little dog again! Great place-great location!

We had a great stay at Stephanie’s place. We loved that it was right on the bayou which was a fun experience. We could fish right out front and watch the boats pass by. Stephanie was very helpful and responsive when we messaged her. Her husband left poles for us to use at the house. My husband and son went on their fishing charter which picked them up right from the dock outside. She provided us with great recommendations of restaurants and swamp tours. Stephanie and Mitch were great hosts. We definitely recommend staying here and will consider coming back again sometime.

First of all, Pat is an outstanding host. He went out of his way to make sure we arrived and were comfortable with how everything worked. The place is everything he states it is (and more). It was the perfect location for us, we will definitely be back ( but for a longer stay)! If you’re looking for a relaxing, peaceful place after long days of fishing the marsh, look no further. We really enjoyed our stay in Jean Lafitte. The surrounding area felt very safe and secure. We could not get over the beautiful surroundings. My kids had a blast fishing and learning how to use a casting net. Julie was the icing on the cake for this trip. We had a bad storm while we were staying there and she checked on us to make sure we were ok. She made sure we had everything we needed and she even blessed our daughter with a Christmas present. We would love to stay here again!
