Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Geauga County

Chassity’s home is very comfortable and the setting very peaceful! We booked this home to visit family about 20 min away. This was a very convenient and comfortable option. The lake is beautiful to wake up to in the morning. I just wish we would have found this place sooner. Hope to return in the summer when we can actually enjoy the deck and outdoors! The Christmas tree was a nice touch for the cozy upstairs family room. Thanks for a great stay! I would note that bunks were a bit small for our college age kids, but we all still agreed it was a great place. One of them used the pull out sofa upstairs.

Perfect location for our visit to Family, in the heart of Amish country. When there was an unexpected power outage for a short bit, they were quick to respond with candles and the brightest battery light I’ve ever seen!

We really enjoyed our stay at Brad's place. It was hands-down the most beautifully curated space that I've ever stayed in. We cooked several full meals; the kitchen had everything that we needed. The house is large, extremely interesting, and clean. The backyard was great for enjoying beautiful weather. Brad was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

We rented the entire home which was perfect for our girls gathering of five. Listing exactly as described with plenty of amenities! Cute quaint area of Chardon, walk to ski area and Brown Barn Tavern, close to downtown Chardon. We especially loved the charming details of Amy’s place, and felt warm and comfortable like we were at home! Visited in January, but I bet it’s beautiful all year around! No issues, responsive host!

This place was perfect for what our family needed. It was in the middle of where we visit family. 15 min drive to Chardon, 13 min from Mentor-on-the lake, 3 min from the highway, and 10 min from Kirtland. There was a Starbucks and any type of grocery/restaurant you need. It had all the amenities for a perfect stay. If you are a person that likes to watch TV before bed, you will want to bring an iPad/or watch your phone there is only 1 TV.

Our family of four stayed here for three nights and had a great time. The bedrooms are spacious and the design throughout the home is so mid-century and tasteful. The hot tub was a highlight for us! We walked through the Thompson ledges park and visited the library branch just a minute away - our daughters had a blast. Highly recommend!

We are currently doing a long-term stay at Jake's property. He is super responsive, accommodating, and just a friendly guy. This property was clearly recently renovated, and was nicely done. Highly recommend!

Thoughtfully renovated and a great location. Two short blocks to the square and a nice coffee shop that had a good and inexpensive breakfast. A winter storm swept through the area during our stay. I was impressed that there were no drafts in this historic home. Speaks to the quality of the renovations. The driveway was plowed first thing in the morning, and so were the sidewalks. Power was out all over the county but ours only flickered briefly. Glad we had such a comfortable spot to weather the storm!

Very nice location. Plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Close to restaurants. A quiet and peaceful place to stay. Wade is very responsive and friendly.

This is a very nice apartment; better even than the pictures indicate. We loved the sun room on the back and the space was plenty large enough for us to stay comfortably for an entire month. Paula was a very good host and the apartment was very clean. The neighborhood was fine. There was some R rated language that was pretty audible outside on a couple of occasions but the neighbors seemed to be friendly when I saw them. All in all, it was a great stay.

Grace is by far the best host we have ever had and provides exceptional service. She is a valuable asset to AirBnB (they should consider hiring her to teach other hosts how to successfully and compassionately do their job!) and we actually feel privileged to stay in her apartment (we have stayed numerous times in this particular building). She truly seems to care about her tenant's comfort and her response time is amazing. Thank you, Grace, for being such an exemplary host (and for restoring our confidence in hosts after a particularly horrible host experience we had just before arriving at your place this year! You are the best.)

My father and I stayed at Heidi and Fred's for 5 nights and we absolutely adored it. It was located in a quiet neighborhood and we felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay. The place was pristinely clean and included nice touches such as wine (for the price of a small donation) as well as a pamphlet of local restaurant recommendations. We also thought it was kind of the hosts to help us out with the trouble we were having with the TV remote. Although we came together for a solemn occasion, Heidi and Fred's humble and tranquil abode made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for those looking to stay in the Geneva area and don't want to stay at a motel!
