Villa holiday rentals in Gaiola Island

Massimo is a wonderful host. Its obvious he enjoys welcoming guests. During our holiday, we kept asking for his advice and he was always on hand to help us. This made us feel very secure. On the practical side: When we arrived at the flat he had provided us with so many useful things like jams, bread, milk, olive oil, toilet roll, washing up stuff, shampoo and mosquito stuff. The only thing to note is that the flat is located in a Marina which is a slight distance from the 'town' of Vica Equense. There is a local bus that goes from the Marina but it's sometimes full. If any of your party have mobility problems then you need to consider that. We loved coming back to the peace of the Marina and its lovely restaurants.

The villa is really all bloomed, very cozy. There's everything for a big company. Everyone is happy. We love to cook on our own, we didn't have enough knives. All photos match. We felt right at home. We recommend it!!!!

It was a great time spending time at this place! The views and sunsets are just spectacular. The rooftop terasse is sublime and therés a great pool and patio area also! Paola is super nice and friendly! Great service from Don Giulio’s Luigi too! We asked them if we could have dinner there from their restaurant even though it was closed and they made it happened! Super service!! I recommand! Thank you Paola!!

A very cozy place to stay. Warm and quiet. The room is very big and cozy. The garden is very beautiful. The host is very welcoming, although the language is not very convenient, but he is still very willing to provide all kinds of information we need. I'll definitely stay for a few more days next time I have the chance.

Daniela was a super great host! She was very responsive and answered all our queries. She also went out of her way to help us suggest local recommendations and provided us with more than just the basic amenities. The view from her apartment was also extremely beautiful. A slight upward hike towards the house, however the view made it worth it!

Paolo and Grazia were very proactive with their information. The apartment is really well furnished with an honesty shop for essentials and lots of equipment. The air-conditioning was great and the garden was so peaceful (with a very friendly cat). All in all this was a great place to stay. Sant'Agnello is a quieter resort but just 1 stop from Sorrento and a range of lovely restaurants within walking distance.

A beautiful place to stay with great views. The beds were very comfortable and it was very peaceful. It was great to have parking and it’s well placed for sight-seeing. Gennaro was really helpful with suggestions and responsive to messages and helping us out.

Rosaria's flat is quiet, well insulated, shielded from the noisy neighbourhood. Spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Walking distance from the ruins of Ercolano and the railway station of Ercolano Scavi. (from there direct bus to Vesuvio). Grocery shops nearby. For everything else you have to take the train and change the district. Rosaria is very responsive and helpful. We had a perfectly pleasant stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this airbnb. We appreciated the beautiful view, washer, ac in each room, and multiple bathrooms. The location is a bit out of the way but they offer a shuttle service from 8-12 and 4-12 which is incredibly helpful. Nello, our shuttle driver was the sweetest and goofiest man. We loved him. The walk without the shuttle service is lengthy and inconvenient especially with luggage. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic holiday at Lorenzo’s house. From the long list of great recommendations he sent before we’d arrived, to his welcoming messages once we’d landed - Lorenzo was so warm and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The house was great - very clean, loads of space, incredible views and very generous welcome pack of food and drink. Lorenzo recommended guides to show us round Pompeii and to capri, and places to go, even booked restaurants for us. We really couldn’t have asked for more. Our only sad point was leaving!

Annalisa and Gennaro were amazing hosts and were very friendly and responsive. Upon arrival, Annalisa showed us around the house and organized dinner and a shuttle to take us there and pick us up. The house and the view was indescribable - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again in a heartbeat. Thank you Annalisa and Gennaro! ♥️

We absolutely loved the garden and the pool, and Enzo’s dad was very sweet. The house was slightly shabby, but the bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was really great. It was perfect for a family holiday, and we would definitely return to Ischia. The mini market is extremely useful and convenient. It was confusing that both the listing address and the map on the listing displayed different incorrect addresses. The last message Enzo sent contained the correct address, but it still left us confused and lost on arrival as the taxi driver had no idea where the house was. Luckily Enzo’s dad came and saved us. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, but lacked enough glasses, mugs and serving dishes to make cooking and serving family meals easy. However, we would still highly recommend the villa as the garden and pool made it a fabulous holiday destination. We loved Ischia. Enzo’s dad brought us homemade wine and eggs from the garden, and made us feel very welcome- many thanks!

We loved staying at Tina’s place. It was stunning but at the same time very comfortable. We all slept very well. The bedrooms were beautiful and each had their own bathroom or ensuite. The pool was great as well. Tina was such a lovely and helpful host. She obviously cares about her guests and the villa. We loved the location and would recommend a car. It was so quiet compared to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely recommend Tina’s place and would love to go back one day. Grazie Tina.

Francesca and Agostino are a great couple!! Very professional, friendly and prompt. They went extra mile to arrange for beautiful flowers and Cake for my daughter’s birthday! They were flexible with check in and check out times. The complimentary wine and goodies were fabulous! The wine and beer to buy at the accommodation was very helpful. The kitchen is very easy to use and plentiful stuff. Beach bag was also very handy. The beds were the best I have experienced so far. Lastly, amazing views!!! Showers could be better.

Great place for a large group. Luca communicated quickly with us and helped us with anything we needed. Check-in/out was very easy. The view is great - you can see the Faraglioni from the house. Just note that it's about a 10 minute walk uphill to the city center - for the most part we were able to just call a taxi if we needed.

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in Amalfi. We all had such a fantastic time. The house was perfect, and loved the privacy for the 4 bedrooms downstairs. Our private chef dinner night was delightful and the food was amazing. Thank you for being so accommodating to make sure our stay was superb! And thank you to Gerry for helping us navigate the area. We hope to get back in the future.

Me and my family went to have a relaxing time . It definitely was everything we wanted and needed . Definitely going to rebook in the future when family and friends come to town!! Grazie mille

Fantastic villa, perfect for visiting Sorrento. Perfect for a group, as each room has an en-suite and a great pool to cool off and relax in. Accessing central Sorrento is only a 20 minute walk along the main road, or a less than 5 minute train ride.

We were staying in Sorrento for a friend’s wedding - the wedding venue which we didn’t realise at the time of booking was opposite the Villa so location was perfect. It was easy to walk into the town centre about a 15 min walk. The Villa is very well appointed with plenty of room and great amenities. The outside area is also nicely presented - the big bonus here is that it is a gated community so also very safe Thanks for a fantastic stay it was home from home

This is a real gem! The view is absolutely incredible, and tucked away on the hill, it feels like you own private place away from the bustle of Sorrento. It's surrounded by olive trees - incredibly picturesque. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs apartments because there were 5 of us with teenagers -and I'm glad we did. It was wonderful to be able to spread out and have a lot of space. The beds were fabulous, and very quiet for sleeping. The kitchen well equipped and very clean. We rented a car, if you do, make sure to rent a small one because the lane is small to get there, as is driveway. Or, get full coverage with zero deductible like we did :) We were there in winter. the weather was sunny and temperate. The store at the bottom of the hills is very sweet, with also a lot of options in Sorrento. We took a ferry boat that only runs on weekends in the winter to Positano - what a treat! Highly recommend booking in this place!
