Holiday rentals with lake access in French Quarter - CBD

Rachel and her place were literal perfection! This beautiful little home on the bayou was perfect- and I cannot find the right words to tell you how well stocked the home was. Rachel thought of everything. The place was clean, the neighborhood was quiet, and communication was amazing. I WILL be back!

Met family and spent Thanksgiving together here. It was absolutely home away from home! The house was so well stocked with everything! Fantastic location and breathtaking views. Easy drive into town to stores and great local restaurants.

We loved our stay at Pelican Pier! Everything on the property was as beautiful as the pictures, all amenities were exactly as outlined, and there were many thoughtful touches offered by the host to encourage maximum enjoyment of the waterfront property. We have 4 boys (ages 8-14) and they loved the dock. We caught crabs, went fishing, and played on the small sand beach. It was too cold and windy to kayak but it was very tempting. The house has just enough common space and very nice bedroom arrangements for a family. Bringing an extra adult couple would have also worked. The house is not in a populated area - which we felt was part of the appeal! Slidell is close enough for quick trips. Downtown New Orleans is a 45 min drive but reasonable for day trips. We would definitely consider this property again if going to NOLA again.

Very nice place, quiet, peaceful. The dock was great, its set-up well for bottom fishing with built in rod holders. The swings were nice as well.

Seth's place was incredibly clean and everything looked brand new. great private location overlooking the lake

great place to stay. so much history just in a small area.. your in front of the water... the host knows so much about the area and new Orleans in general. you don't need a tour guide lol.

My wife and our dogs had a truly wonderful stay at Maxie and Lydia’s wonderful spot. Across the street from Bayou St John, it was the perfect setting. We were so comfortable and relaxed. One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept on! We will certainly be booking here again.

Greg was a great host! We had everything we needed. The only possible complaints we had were nothing within his power to control like the noise from the other rentals, the airplanes, etc. Totally worth the price and would definitely reccomend.

We had a very pleasant stay on the bayou. The accommodations were very spacious and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
