Cottage holiday rentals in Franconia Notch

Everything went great - the cottage is outstanding, cozy and warm (despite the frigid temperatures outside), clean and organized it had everything we needed. Plenty of spaces to hang out, kitchen and rooms outfitted with everything one can need (telescope!!), yard, close to trailhead with views to Mt Washington and lots of skiing possibilities. The hot tub was out of this world. Everything worked out very smoothly, we had a great time and Chelsey made sure we had all the info we needed when we needed it - she wrote proactively ahead of time with the right info and was responsive and very helpful when we had a couple of quick questions Really a 5-star experience. PS: we did struggle to find a corkscrew at some point, i'm sure there's one somewhere but we were patient enough to find it :D

We celebrated Christmas with our adult children and it was such a beautiful experience. Mark and Lyn were so sweet, they even put up a Christmas tree for us. They responded to all my questions, the place was beautiful, the hot tub was amazing, and was exactly what we wanted. I will be returning in the summer time.

We recently spent a week here & had a wonderful time. The house is private & somewhat secluded, and the location is convenient for shopping and/or going to the coast. The house itself was clean and the furniture comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, bakeware, and pots & pans. Rocking on the front porch, the hot tub, and the fire pit offer great relaxation with a nice view of the lake. We'll most likely stay here again next year.

We had a wonderful time at this quiet, clean, and cozy cottage! Kelly and Benoit’s place had everything you could possibly think of needing, the location is great, and their instructions for everything were clear. We stayed during a snowstorm and their service had the walkways shoveled by the morning! It is small but appropriately described, and as 3 adults we were comfortable for the duration of our trip. We would absolutely stay again.

This Airbnb exceeded all expectations, offering everything we could possibly need and more. The space was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in a peaceful and scenic area that provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. From the cozy amenities to the host's exceptional attention to detail, this place truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

We loved our stay here! Cozy little place! Alexa was incredibly helpful and responsive. Definitely make sure you use the hot tub at night for some stargazing!

Milan’s place is a great value! How wonderful to find a place where a family of 10 can gather WITH pets! Room to spread out for movies, a game of pool or hot tubbing. It’s a space for lots of people…and lots of people mean lots of wear and tear. Even with that reality, Milan’s home reflects thoughtful care and consideration for groups who want comfortable together time. SO convenient to many White Mountain area attractions. We would definitely return and we thank you for a perfect space to make happy memories!!

The place had everything that you needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay, first time staying somewhere with our dog and it went really well. The cabin was comfortable and had everything needed to enjoy ourselves. Libby was very helpful!

This was the perfect getaway in the beautiful mountainside of Vermont. Meryl has created a truly special place adorned with amazing artwork and picturesque views. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

We had a comfortable stay with our two large dogs at the little cozy brown cabin in Woodstock. The location was great, surrounded by trees, very peaceful, and a short 10 minute drive to Loon ski resort. The apartment retained heat very well being -16 the first morning of our stay.

This was the perfect spot for our trip up to NH, and little did I know it would turn into our engagement trip! Susan was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions and responding to questions promptly. We’ll definitely be back! The yard was secure and ideal for our 7-month-old puppy to play in. We also enjoyed taking walks around the area! Susan went above and beyond by leaving a bottle of wine in the fridge, turning on the lights for us, and ensuring the cabin was spotless. It was truly the perfect place for our stay!

Messaged chris with a question and got a phone call right away! He even recommended a nice hiking spot! His place is wonderful and he is super responsive along with his wife. You guys have a wonderful place, thanks for sharing it with us!

Everything we needed was available, nothing was lacking. The house is very comfortable and has well layout floor plan.

Stef’s place is truly a gem— cozy, tasteful, and well equipped for a little weekend in the woods. We appreciated the wood stove and the large supply of games. Would absolutely stay again.

Very thoughtful house for our stay with our dog, they even had dog bowls and treats! Well stocked kitchen and lots to do if you get stuck inside - games, books, puzzles. Fantastic location - five minutes from Burke Mountain and the Kingdom Trails were right out the door. We rarely stay somewhere twice but we will be back!

This was a great get away. Right on the lake with the convenience of using their kayaks, row boat, and peddleboat. Also had an array of life jackets for everyone to be safe. Scenery is beautiful, location is peaceful! We read, kayaked, played pinpong in their basement, sat around the firepit and listened to nature! The house is exactly how you see it in the pics, plus better! The home is spotless and has everything you need! Host Heidi is very responsive! They even have many board games and puzzles to play. The cottage was so beautiful, clean and cozy. Tom and Rosemarie gave us tips on places to go to try to see moose and avoid the crowds near the touristic places. Kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked just as expected. I just wish we had come in a hotter day so we could use the kayak and paddles on the lake! Will definitely come back!

Dianne’s place was just right for my small family of three! The place was clean and well kept and had all the amenities one could need and even more than we expected. There was some construction going on at the house next door, which was a bit disappointing, but just a reminder that the house is in a community and not to expect complete silence at all times. Dianne was very responsive and kind, and all in all we had a very lovely time.

Great place.

We rented one of the cabins at Lakehurst Cottages for a week in August. We were nervous because we were bringing up our boat and had a bad experience at another lake last year. Jim and Janet were so reassuring as to where we could keep the trailer and the location of a convenient boat launch. It all worked out great! Our cottage was a delightful 1 bedroom with sliders all around. There was everything we needed to cook meals. They have a fire pit with wood if you want to make a fire, or chairs to sit in by the water. Downtown Alton Bay was 4 miles away and we enjoyed walking around during an annual festival and craft fair. The town docks are plentiful and convenient if you have a boat. There is so much to do at Lake Winnipesauke and this cabin was in such a great location with great hosts - and guests!

Four friends on Friendsgiving…James and Nella’s place was great for us! Enough beds, nice outdoor space (though it snowed and we stayed in by the warm gas fireplace!), and decently equipped kitchen space! The surrounding area is quite private with a few little towns around. Great place if you want quality time at home or don’t mind driving an hour or so for touristy shopping. Get the pizza from their recommended list-it’s an experience!
