We have had an amazing night’s stay! The room was very clean and comfortable. Karis was very proactive and provided us with a lot of interesting information. We have also been very lucky to meet Karis and Pat- since we’re not American, therefore we have not celebrated Thanksgiving before- but Karis was so nice to invite us over for a Thanksgiving meal, which was an unforgettable experience for us! We would absolutely stay again if we’re ever in the back in the area!

This is our second time staying with Cathy and we plan to stay here every time we are here for business! The home is wonderful; warm, inviting and so comfortable. Amazing beds that allow for great sleep! She is so thoughtful and worked tirelessly to clear snow for our arrival and even left cookies. 🥰🥰 If you want a truly homey place to stay with a communicative host and pristine/quiet environment…this is your place!

We were visiting my college friends and found this amazing Airbnb to stay in. It was such a neat place, we loved the history and the details put into each space. It was so quiet while we were there, even when there were other guests, we hardly heard anyone at all. There's a slightly creepy factor to the old building and décor, but that only made it that much more interesting and fun. I only wish our stay had coincided with the apothecary being open, but we will be back! We actually got engaged on this trip, so maybe next time we'll stay in the Black and White Commitment Suite! :)

A very nice home in a very nice neighborhood. Neat and clean, and you have full access to the entire home save the other bedrooms. A large 2-story home with a large living room, kitchen and family room. I lacked for nothing during my stay and as there were no other guests during my stay I had the home to myself. No complaints. Karis responded to any questions/concerns I had in a timely manner. If you need lodging in Fort Smith short or long-term I’d start by seeing if this residence is available.

The Beard and Lady Inn is an exquisitely renovated historical building complete with all of the amenities you could possibly need for a stay in the beautiful Ozarks. Our room (Writer’s Block) was beautifully decorated and the beds were super comfy. The view of the sunrise from the windows of this room was absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant was delicious (the mushroom quiche is like silk!) and the store is awesome! All of the people behind this fantastic experience have really put their hearts and souls into providing the best experience and each of them are so kind and accommodating…and just lovely to visit with. My kids are going to love the postcards I send them from the Chester Post Office and we hope to come back to visit much sooner rather than later!
