Great location!

A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

What a beautiful little oasis. I was born and raised in the area, and it was so wonderful to stay here and get such an authentic blue ridge experience. The property is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers who want to be away from the hustle and bustle. The stars are bright and you can hear the late night bugs chirping. The creek that runs into the river gurgles right next to the firepit. There is a train that runs close to the house which is also one of my favourite sounds. If you are a city folk who is used to fancy hotels, it may take some getting used to, but it is a perfect spot if you want a magical retreat in the woods.

Really appreciate Matt coming out to greet us when we pulled up in the dark (travel delays), making sure we had lights on, and the key code was set. Always responsive to our questions! Great having a place welcoming for our two pups, and so close to grocery in town. Would definitely stay here again.

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Melody's place was perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday visit with relatives in Lynchburg. The upper deck has a uniquely creative nautical theme and was comfortable, clean and convenient. I loved all the artistic and historic touches that she brings to her home. Melody was immediately responsive to our question and quickly provided what we needed. Beautiful roomy bedrooms, comfortable queen beds, a wonderful shower with plenty of towels, hallway to the bathroom that stays lighted during the dark hours, our own thermostat, room-darkening curtains, and the amenities of a small kitchenette. Easily walkable to Rivermont Ave. shops and the lovely Blackwater Creek Trail. We sincerely hope to stay at Melody's home again on future family visits!

We have stayed at a lot of Airbnb properties over the years. Mountain View was GREAT!!! VERY Spacious and comfortable. The property had views that were terrific. Large open green meadow views to frame in the Peaks of Otter in the distance. Outside chairs make that view relaxing after exoring Lynchburg and surroundind towns like Bedford. Dedicated parking was convenient. Inside the property it is VERY Spacious and most comfortable. The property is perfect for a couple seeking relaxation and privacy. But because of it's Spacious Layout several couples can not feel crowded. This property and location was very accommodating and is a rare find and the hosts saw to our every need.

The apartment was perfect for our quick trip to Lynchburg. It was very clean and homey and the area was quiet. Helina was easy to communicate with, and our checkin was smooth and easy.

We were greeted upon arrival with a friendly face, as well as helpful hands. We wish we could have stayed longer and the weather was better. It would have been nice to take advantage of all that was offered. We enjoyed the vintage pinball machines and how comfortable this place was.

Our stay with Matthew & Kacey was so nice!! It was very clean, easy to find, & we loved the cozy atmosphere! They are such kind hosts and definitely make you feel very welcome. We loved our time in Forest & Lynchburg and will definitely be staying here again!

John and Sharon were terrific hosts. They left a "Welcome" card with delicious muffins from a local bakery. We have stayed in many Airbnb's around the lake and this location has the best views we have seen. The interior looks brand new and updated, tasteful decor, and very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed to cook dinner both nights we stayed. We were given access to the Tiki Bar where we sat in comfortable outdoor furniture overlooking the lake. We sat with our coffee enjoying the cool morning, colorful Fall leaves and saw a mother and baby deer scamper across the backyard. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

What a beautiful place to stay! We had stayed at some of the luxury hotels in Lynchburg and Matt and Kristen's garden apartment rivaled them! Our hosts were so responsive and kind and made our stay a pleasure. (The mattress was so comfortable too!) We have found our new home away from home!

My sister and I had a great stay at this cute little basement apartment! It is very cozy and just as described. We only stayed a few days, but it has a full kitchen that is equipped with everything you need. Even though this is technically a one-bedroom listing, there is a second room with a large futon sofa, so it was nice for each of us to have our own spaces. The bedroom mattress was very cozy. I appreciate that they had a large tv, comfy furniture, and games in the living room. Very cozy but also spacious place that is in an awesome location- very close to Forest and Lynchburg! We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely place to stay! Mary is so sweet and hospitable and the accommodations were just what the post described and perfect for my stay in Lynchburg.

Good host checking on us making sure everything was good. Have to say this Airbnb was one of the most interesting I've stayed at. If you love motorcycles and Harley Davidson you'll love this place. Like a mini memorabilia museum of stuff you can tell a lot of work and passion went into this. Good location for visiting Liberty University, plenty of restaurants right down the road.

A perfect private fully equipped apartment. Immaculately clean. You will love the backyard wooded area. Very much like a fully equipped cabin in the woods. The Lynchburg and surrounding areas have plenty to do. The host was amazing. Stay with Lori once and you will definitely want to return.

The location was perfect for my visit to Liberty University. I had a wonderful stay in this lovely, comfortable, clean, and quiet home. Donna was the perfect host. She was very responsive and provided clear instructions. I appreciated the snacks she provided too.
