A truly beautiful cabin set in peaceful surroundings. The cabin has everything you need. I stayed for a wedding locally and it was the perfect location and provided everything I needed. Shepherd's Hut-large kitchen/dining area + views

HollyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

We loved our stay on the shepherds hut, which looked and felt new, and was beautifully finished. Fantastic location, great for local walks (we walked to The Open Ditch pub) and amazing views from the bed & seating area. Very accommodating hosts, super helpful and responsive. We’d definitely consider staying again! Would recommend. Thank you so much!!

Hidden Hut in 20 acres private countryside

GrahamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

Upper Gilwern Quarry Hut incl. Fossil Hunting

ChrisRating, 5 stars16 months ago
I have stayed at Gilwern several times, and as with each previous occasion I found Emma had made a huge effort to ensure the accommodation was very comfortable and well presented. I love the views, the peace and quiet, and always enjoy trying to find a fossil in the quarry. I will hope for another return trip in a year or two.

Delightful Shepherd’s Hut w heating + woodburner

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay! It’s a great place for a weekend away with the dog. So peaceful with loads of walks right at your doorstep. The enclosed fence meant we didn’t have to worry about our lab getting out and the hut itself was perfect.

Shepherds Hut in Whiteway, The Cotswolds

FrancescaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our staying at the hut. Despite the horrible weather, heavy rain and strong winds, we felt very safe and comfortable in the hut. We had a really nice meal in the pub nearby, and managed to visit a few popular locations. The hut was well designed and had everything you need.

Crossoak Shepherd Hut - Canal side

JoshuaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Spent 2 nights at the canalside hut. The hut was clean as were the bathrooms. The bathroom was only a few seconds walk away from the accommodation. It was really peaceful & picturesque. Very secluded and Good if you have a dog. Great location for visiting Brecon, pen y fan is only 20 minutes away. Emma was very good & quick with communication, to the time to check on us during a storm. We will definitely be returning. Would highly recommend.

Large luxury Shepherds Hut with Hot Tub nr Bath

HollyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the perfect stay at Anne’s. The shepherds hut is beautiful and has everything you would need to make the perfect romantic getaway. We enjoyed the log burner and hot tub both nights. The shepherds hut is located about a hour walk from Chew Magna which has lots of lovely restaurants ( the lazy lobster is a must) and pubs. This is a great getaway for those looking for some peace and quiet amongst the stars.

We really loved our stay! Very peaceful and private - the perfect escape. The wood fire was great and heated the hut up immediately. The hot tub was bliss with amazing views. Fully functional kitchen with everything you need - the bacon, eggs, bread, milk and butter was a lovely gesture. The bathroom was modern with a lovely overhead shower (soap and shampoo provided). Very comfortable night sleep and will definitely be returning! Thank you so much.

Luxury (heated) Cotswold Shepherd Hut

HaroldRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful few days in the shepherd's hut. William was so quick to respond to any queries and gave loads of suggestions which made our stay even more enjoyable. The village is so convenient for exploring the Cotswolds. The hut is beautiful and well equipped for a short stay. It is toasty warm, so even in cold, rainy February, we felt warmer than we would do in our own house. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Cosy shepherd’s hut on the Offa’s Dyke Path

ChloeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely shepherd's hut in a beautiful location. Every little detail had been thought about in the space and Rita and David clearly take pride in hosting. Despite it being February, the hut was nice and cosy and warm and it was such a lovely touch that they provide guest slippers for when the floor can be cold! The shower was a dream after a cold afternoon hiking. The Royal Oak pub was a couple of minutes walk from the pub with an inviting fire and friendly staff. We did a lovely walk on the Offa's Dyke path and Hergest Ridge, which were very easy to get to from the hut. We would cerainly recommend staying here if you want to explore the local area and we're sure it would be lovely to sit outside in the summer months admiring the view and listening to the stream! Thanks for a great stay!

Green Valley, Cotswold stay with hamper

PollyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Due to the extremely cold overnight temperatures Ros and Hugh offered us the adjacent loft conversion rather than the shepherd's hut, which we accepted, so we can't speak to the hut itself. But Ros and Hugh were excellent hosts, the breakfast offered was delicious and it's a beautiful location. The property was full of lots of information about local walks and pubs and we were able to check-out late which was helpful in the snow!

Shepherd's Hut at High Gardens

ShuvayRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I couldn't recommend Mark and Teresa's shepherd's hut enough! The stay was lovely, far exceeding any Airbnb experience I've ever had in the 11 years of using it. Mark and Teresa were extremely kind and welcoming and put pure love into building their accommodation and making you feel welcome. I will for sure be back and fully confident everyone will feel the same.

Huw’s Hut @ Penwern...a delightful escape

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
First time using Air b&b. Wanted a few nights away up Brecon. Came across this little hut, looked peaceful and an ideal base for exploring Brecon. Booked and had to change dates due to work commitments, messaged Catherine and she talked me through how to do this. No extra cost and easy to pick new dates. Didn't arrive till late again due to work. Arrived in the dark but the path was lit up leading to the hut. The lights were on and warm inside. Very cosy when we got in there. Woke up the next morning to amazing views over Brecon, looking up at pen y fan. Couldn't ask for a better location. Didn't see anyone or hear anyone on the farm all weekend but Catherine was easy to contact through the app. The farm dog had kept us company and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again.

Romantic Off-Grid Retreat – Nature & Tranquillity

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful valentines getaway in honey pot shepherds hut, the scenery was stunning, there were clear instructions for the use of the hot tub and log burner which were much easier to use than we expected, we paid extra for the hot tub to be preheated for our arrival which was super easy to organise by messaging the host, the bed was super comfy and the shower was great too. Super easy to find using Google maps, even in the dark! Thank you very much for a perfect weekend!
