Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Fonyód

We have been for two weeks and it has been a very good and relaxing vacation, the house is traditional renovated but with all the comforts, it has many decorative elements of the time. The area is quiet, quiet, very polite neighbors, the people of the village are very nice, many spoke to us very well about Gábor. By car 10, or 15 or 20 minutes you have restaurants, bodegas el lago, castles... In the village there is a small supermarket with several things. Gábor was very attentive and polite with mostros, always worried in knowing if we are well and if we are resting. In conclusion, highly recommended to go as a couple or with family to rest. We hope to go some more.

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

The host contacted me immediately after booking and had all the useful information about how to find and get into the place. Extremely friendly and direct, and the place is clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you need. We only stayed 1 night, but we'll be back. Thank you so much!

Everything was perfect

We recently stayed at a beautiful cozy country home in Hungary with the whole family, and it was a wonderful experience. Each of us had our own room, all of which were beautifully furnished and had their own bathrooms. The large living room and dining room provided plenty of space for us to relax and enjoy meals together, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area, especially the pool and whirlpool, which were great for both relaxation and fun. The kids loved the trampoline and had plenty to keep them entertained. Overall, this vacation home was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a great stay. We look forward to visiting again!

The flexible 'check-in' as well as the flexible 'check-out' were very good for us, which we had a long journey. The personal account cat at check-in and the explanation of the house, the house and pool technology were great and greatly contributed to a great and relaxed holiday start. You could just feel comfortable in this property. The view over Lake Balaton and the great sunsets - you can go on vacation. The tips in the Carolin and Geoff area were very helpful. The infrastructure in Balatonfützfö is also overly good. Conclusion: A repeated vacation with the use of this great accommodation is not excluded from our point of view.

The stay was very pleasant. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The cottage is well-equipped and there is nothing missing. The only downside is that it's hard to heat up to the right temperature in winter.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic—close to a great beachfront and many supermarkets. The view was absolutely amazing, even better than we could see in the pictures! The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. No issues at all! Overall, it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our trip to Balaton with 4 nights at Laszlo place. We stayed at the place with our little kid. We found the place clean, set up as in the photos and it was easy to use. Parking lot just a few meters from the entrance. The surroundings of the apartment complex were not finished but it bothered us only visually. Grocery store within 5 minutes walking. Centre of town reachable in 25 minutes.

The host was friendly and accommodating, we had some problems and had to check in later than expected, the host was able to help us with it. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rita’s, great location and very nice host.

This was our third time at this beautiful house and we had a fantastic stay as always. Our highlights were: the garden and private lake access for us, the fenced garden for our dog and the high-speed WiFi for my teenage kids.

It was a great place to stay, and the host is extra nice. :) We also got two cribs upon request, everything was just like the photos. The beds were comfortable. Great neighborhood, nice tidy place to stay. We were completely satisfied. Highly recommend!

Lisa’s place is amazing and at great location. It is very spacious and a stone throw from the lake. Lisa herself is very kind and the check in was smooth and the instructions were clear and accurate. The kitchen is unfortunately not very well taken care of as the dishes were mainly dirty and stained and I wish Lisa was more available in case of unexpected situations because when there was a problem with heating I had to wait for 3 days until the problem was resolved which is not very convenient in winter time. But I can understand that unexpected problems might occur so after all it wasn’t that much of a big deal. However, I think this place is totally worth the price and I also appreciate that there are boardgames you can borrow and it is very well furnished with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some beautiful time at Balaton. Thank you!

It has all the facilities needed. We stayed one night and it was perfect Zolly is a friendly and attentive host who kindly offered us coffee, chocolate and a couple of bikes to ride to the lake.

Very peaceful cabin. Was small but suited us for just a few days. The hot tub was great and there were nice places to eat locally. The stairs were very steep and tricky to climb, this wasn’t an issue for us but older people or younger children may struggle.

It was a perfect cottage for a group of friends and a dog. We used the garden and barbecue area often, and enjoyed sitting on the terrace or cooking. The house is perfectly equipped, there is everything we needed in the kitchen. The air conditioning in every room is very convenient. Everything was neat and clean and felt like a real home. We felt very comfortable. The lake and promenade are very close and the neighbourhood is beautiful. Next time we will definitely take this house again, Botond is a great host!
