Really stunning cottage, beautifully furnished and in a great location. 3 beds 2 bathrooms upstairs and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom were great for our mobility impaired friend. Parking space outside was small (fine for a small car which was great for us), with a 2 min walk to the town square for further parking. Also valued the covered back passageway as was fab for storing a bike. Would be delighted to stay again. Finally Stuart very helpful in checking in all was ok, and the food recommendations were great too. 5 star!!

Lovely little find, perfect for a couple of nights away with the dogs. Really close to all the shops, pubs and restaurants. Really clean and has everything you need. Great stay.

Absolutely beautiful cottage in a lovely location close to lots of areas - Harrogate, Weetons, Bettys, Knaresborough, Ilkley etc. Molly was a great host - very friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend

What a lovely little cottage. We stayed here with our three children for two nights and loved our stay. Matthew’s place was exactly as it was listed. It was really clean, easy to find and get inside and had everything we needed. The village is really nice and we were only 20 mins away from the polar express station which is why we booked. We also visited Billy Bobs for breakfast the following morning which was excellent, the kids had such a great time. I can’t fault Matthew’s place at all. If we book the polar express next year we will certainly be staying here again.

We had a lovely stay at Ruth's cottage, we felt really welcome and at home. Ruth had lots of information about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc and was really responsive to messages. We stayed over Christmas and Ruth had decorated the cottage with Christmas decorations which was a really lovely added touch. We had a fantastic break and would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Mandy’s cottage. It was perfect for a peaceful break with beautiful surroundings, whilst still being only a short drive from some of the most popular parts of the Peak District. Mandy was also very helpful and responsive in our communications when preparing for our trip. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to stay and experience the Peak District.

Really happy with our stay at the Lodge and amazing communication from Pip, the host. As a couple that enjoys hiking, we found many trails such as one directed behind the property leading towards Marsden Moor and the Reservoir which was perfect. The hot tub was a few steps away from the lodge, hidden with a lovely view of the village. Would happily stay here again but definitely worth noting down that the road to the lodge is very steep, especially on foot!

Little Lilac Cottage is adorable & has everything you need. The cottage was clean, cosy & felt welcoming, especially with all the Christmas lights. The location is brilliant, a couple of minutes walk from everything in Castleton. We didn’t go hiking this time but plan to return as there are some great walks nearby. Would highly recommend 😊

A cosy cottage with everything needed for a wonderful stay in Meltham! We stayed whilst visiting friends nearby and it was the loveliest home from home. The cottage is cosy, quiet and spotlessly clean. We worked from there for a couple of days and the WiFi worked perfectly for us, we also took our dog and he loved it, a nice secure garden and even had spare dog bowls if needed. Plenty of blankets provided in the spacious living room, made even more cosy with the burner! A really well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds, we slept very well during our stay, helped by the blackout curtains too. The location is also great, around the corner from a supermarket, a lovely bar (the Fourth Fiend) and plenty of nice restaurants/take aways nearby, we loved the Pink Elephant! There’s also plenty of pretty walks nearby, we particularly liked the short walk to Folly Dolly falls on our lunch breaks and explored more of the Peak District too! We’ll return without hesitation on our next visit!
