Lisa and Gavin are very nice people. They went above and beyond to accommodate my family and ensure my dad could be comfortable. This is a very nice place to stay and highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay here. Me, my partner and dog felt right at home there was food and water bowls provided for our dog, towels provided for us, it was like home from home so cozy and so well decorated! We will definitely be returning when the weather gets nicer to enjoy the beach’s Thank you so much for having us!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Julie was so helpful and really went the extra mile to welcome us and make us feel right at home. Despite the cold weather, we didn’t feel it thanks to lots of extra blankets and clear instructions on how to operate the heating if we needed it. It was so easy to find thanks to really clear instructions and she checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. It was a lovely surprise to find the caravan decorated for Christmas too! We loved our stay and this caravan really made the trip perfect. I can’t recommend this caravan enough! This is the place for you if you’re looking for a lovely home from home in the north east. We had an absolutely amazing stay. The location was great for some amazing walks and waterfalls. The house was spotless and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again

great host, great week's stay

Fantastic flat in a great location. It was much bigger than it looked in the photos which was a great surprise. Super easy check in and Antonio was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt at home from the day we arrived. The cottage was perfect for our extended stay (a month) and we will fondly remember our time in the cottage, Frosterley and the Weardale and North Pennines area. Our hosts were very friendly, laid back and made us feel wonderfully relaxed during our stay. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well appointed and ideal for our needs. We would definitely recommend River View Cottage and the other accommodation in the courtyard to family and friends and we would definitely consider returning in the future for another break.

Nice well maintained place in a good location. Renters do need to be aware there are a lot of stairs to climb to get the the flat, but the view of the beach is worth the climb :) John is quick to respond and provide information. Will book with John again when I am in the area.

High tide is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and close to the beach. We had a lovely stay just before Christmas Andrew had a beautiful Christmas tree set up which was great as we had family over for an early Christmas get together fallowed by blustery walk in the beach. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the north east coast.
