Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Feather River

Perfect place to stay! Had everything we needed and was very clean. The host is also very kind, accommodating, and communicative. Will definitely stay here again in the future!!

This is my second stay at the historic mansion. I wrote a glowing review on my previous stay and our current stay did not disappoint. If you are looking for a high end AirBNB this is the place. Accommodations as in our prior visit were excellent, beddings were very comfortable and the home itself is well laid out and roomy. Sue our host was kind enough to provide plenty of firewood so we could avail ourselves to the outdoor fire pit where we were able to roast marshmallows for the young ones. Sue also contacted me and advised the home was ready for check in at an earlier time making our check in much more convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Yuba City.

My stay at Rose’s place was fantastic! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process seamless. Facilities like the pool, pickleball courts and hot tub made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return soon!

This adorable little retreat had all the comforts of home away from home. It served as the perfect base camp for the guys to go duck hunting and the girls to hang out. We brought our dog and grandbaby. The house was perfect as the decor was simple and had very little that the baby could get to and hurt, and just enough to feel cozy and at home. Ample parking. Great outdoor amenities. nice front porch and oversized back yard. We will definitely consider it for the future trips to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the fern house. It was so peaceful & private. We felt comfortable the moment we got in. It was a magical experience sitting in the hottub surrounded by trees & watching the sunset.

We had a great stay and the location is perfect for us. The home had everything we needed during our week. Warm beds, hot showers, a well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook, and room enough for our group. Only thing I didn’t love was that the two bathrooms are connected by a door, so there is very limited privacy for sounds in both bathrooms. We were with family so it didn’t matter much but it was surprising. We would for sure stay here again when visiting. Great hosts and a well supplied home that looks just like the photos.

What a gorgeous hidden gem! We were so lucky to be able to book a stay for 3 nights at a great price. The view was amazing during the day and during the night time. You can’t see stars the way you can here. The home was fully furnished, kitchen included. Home was clean and tidy, very homey and cute decor. The nights were peaceful and quiet. The sunsets and sunrises were the highlight, especially while soaking in the hot tub. We had a fire going one night & even hopped on the swing as if we were kids again. Overall a great time, we brought many activities to do while we stayed in as the road up can be difficult for some to maneuver if inexperienced with driving on a gravel/dirt terrain. We checked in late around 7pm after the sun had set, road was very dark going up so be aware and prepared/plan ahead to avoid any potential run ins such as the ones we had. Definitely would love to book again!

the host is very friendly and the place is private and quite, suitable for stay, but not suitable for cooking, no cover for a single small pan.

Cozy place to stay fairly close to Tahoe, perfect for a quick ski trip. We loved the wood stove and pool table. Nicely remodeled and fully stocked kitchen. Jodi was accommodating and flexible to extend our stay as requested. We had a great stay, thank you!

Sharalee came through for me in my time of need at the last minute when I needed a larger place to accommodate several family members as my husband had just passed. She even left me beautiful flowers and a card..She is as usual a great and thoughtful host and responsive to every need and made this very stressful time for me much much easier.

BOOK ASAP! Yes, this place has a reputation for its lengthy rules but they’re reasonable and easy to follow. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The property is more gorgeous in person. Really, even the pictures of the interior don’t do it justice it’s really clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The outdoor property is breathtaking. The river was the cherry on top!! The sheets and blankets were fresh and smelled good. The house was spotless and has everything you need even a blender. Danika was incredible and accommodating. She went above and beyond! She responded to all of my messages and helped me and my family create lasting memories with our 3 year old son. I’m still day dreaming about this stay at coloma cottages to be honest and hope to be back soon (maybe when it’s not 100+degrees) thank you guys for an awesome vacation!

Paul’s place is spacious and inviting. The quiet woodsy location was serene but still accessible to town and our daughter was absolutely bananas for the zip line!

Mike is really what makes this place so special. He is the most accommodating host I have ever worked with and I have been using AirBnB for almost 10 years now. If you need anything, he really wants to make sure you have your needs met. The carpet is really soft. The patio area with fake grass is great for the dogs to run around in while still being able to keep an eye on them. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans. There was only 1 knife and no cutting board, but I'm sure had I asked for more he would have grabbed me some from the main house or went and bought some. The washer and dryer he has are AMAZING! I have never used such an efficient and good-sized w/d. His place really has everything you'd need for an extended stay. I will say, it's maybe not the best decorated or super spotlessly, sparkly clean and updated. However, everything worked out for us during our stay and I would absolutely stay here again. Mike is such a great host!

The Penn Valley location was amazing. Nestled in the Oaks & Pines, it was the perfect retreat. The host was attentive and everything was as described.

This place was perfect for my family!!😊 we fall in love with house design, landscaping and the surroundings. It looked exactly like in the pictures. The surroundings were peaceful, beautiful nature and taking a walk in the morning with cold breeze and fresh air just reduce your daily life stress to lower level. The place was very clean, filled up with all essentials needed and even enough firewood for the fireplace. Kelib checked on us during our stay to make sure we have everything we need. He always responded promptly to all our inquires. It is one of the place with 100 % of excellent service. Thank you for your place that made our family have a wonderful experience. Would definitely come back. 🤗

The house and grounds are beautiful, private and welcoming. We have stayed in many AirBnBs over the years but none more inviting. The autumn leaves were on fire and the smell of pine forests and wood fires was a reason to linger. You will not want to leave this treasure. It is an amazing find. We stayed for Thanksgiving week and enjoyed the sites and beauty of Nevada City. But the real find is the house and its sanctuary. We will return.

Location was absolutely amazing. Host was super communicative and instructions were easy enough to figure out. We had a bit of trouble locking the door sometimes (though not necessary to lock it). Overall it was amazing and we are so excited to hopefully come back in the future. The outdoor bathtub was slightly unappealing because it had some blue stains aside from dirt that didn’t seem to wipe off, but that was our only critique. The bed was insanely comfortable and the animals right next to us was so so cool. We loved this place and highly recommend!

Very comfortable and private apartment above a garage. We ended up having good weather but I still appreciated a great heater and hot shower water in late October. It had everything we needed for a nice weekend in the trees.

We came to Nevada City with a pack of teenage boys headed to Sugar Bowl. Jeevikasa’s house has an awesome downstairs game room with pool, air hockey, darts, refrigerator, sauna, etc. that kept the boys occupied. It was very accommodating for a large group. The adults could relax upstairs while the boys played downstairs.

Very cozy place, perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days. Internet was a little slow, but it was still good enough for remote work (we didn't try turning video on for our meetings though). We would love to come back here, the hot tub and wood burning stove were great. Chadi was very quick to respond to any questions.

Our winter getaway at this cabin exceeded all expectations. The warm and cozy atmosphere made for a perfect retreat, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate our group of four adults and three children. The spacious layout allowed everyone to both rest and enjoy themselves. The surroundings were serene and peaceful. Based on our wonderful experience, we wholeheartedly recommend this cabin.
