Absolutely wonderful, a definite must if you’re looking for a quiet getaway!

Nature and City perfectly suits this beautiful place. You get to know Stockholm from a completely different side, with nature and lake. The center is easily accessible by bus and takes about 20 minutes.

A view we will never forget! Beautiful summer house, equipped with hot tub, sauna and pool, cozy fireplace and Kamado Joe Grill we loved! Our kids enjoyed the pool, the small treehouse and the outdoor toys. Enough space with 7 people and retreats, surrounded by great nature. 3 min walk to the sea with diving board and swimming spot, as well as 20 min to a small lake (fishing and swimming). On the island there is a small grocery store and about 25 minutes the nearest large supermarket (Lidl, ICA, etc.) We had great evenings in our own pool house with fantastic sunsets! We fully recommend Niklas's place. He was always available and often inquired about our well-being. Even when we had a problem with the toilet, he organized someone who was immediately on hand despite the weekend within a few moments. Great host with a nice touch to the reception.

We (7 of us plus 3 dogs) have had an amazing stay at Ewa’s house! She’s an amazing host! It is in a great location surrounded by nature, very clean, comfortable, cozy, well equipped and really well organized. Ewa was very responsive to any queries and we felt very much at home in her place. Happy New Year!!!

A very nice house. We took it very clean and ordered the final cleaning separately, which is highly recommended for the sizes of the house. The contact with Fredrika was exclusively online, always very nice. We were 4 adults and 3 children, but the 5 rooms with sleeping facilities were great. At least the two bigger beds were a little too soft for us, but that's a habit. Complete decor of the house, we didn't lack anything. Outside a nice little pool and a gas grill. It's only a 10-minute walk to the well-attended beach in the village, as well as to the bus stop. From there you can reach the center of Stockholm in 25 minutes. A shopping mall is close by too. We had a great stay and highly recommend the house.

What an amazing place! The hosts were so helpful and their house is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, well located and super tastefully furnished. Close to Stockholm (35 mins) and 10 mins to local supermarket. Inside is amazing but outside is something else! The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were a fantastic way to spend an evening or lazy day. Mimmi & Mattias hosted us for a lovely Christmas in Stockholm. The house and neighbourhood was the perfect peaceful and cosy retreat to celebrate the holidays with family. Needless to say, the place was spotless and had every amenity we could think of. For such a cold climate outside, the house was a perfect temperature the entire week. Boris was great addition to our party. 10/10 would pet again.

Warm and comfortable cabin and a great place to base yourself for the Varmdo / Stromma area with walks in the woods. We were visiting family in the area and it was a warm and comfortable place to stay within walking distance. Bathroom and kitchen have everything you need for a short stay. Big TV and the fastest screen casting I've had anywhere. Hosts were welcoming and answered questions quickly. They gave us some home made jam for our breakfast and some local beers in the fridge.

The space was homely and comfortable, with everything we needed and all mod cons (dishwasher, washer dryer, Xbox etc) which made our stay extra easy and comfortable. We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. Bjorn was super helpful and responsive, giving us recommendations for where to visit and the best ways to get there. We loved every minute of our stay, the surroundings are stunning, the swimming beach is beautiful, the islands are magical. We can't wait to come back again!

The place itself was great. Very cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. We were here for a longer stay and have to say, we had everything we would need, even lots of kitchen appliances and utensils. The host was even better, she recommended a lot of great places around the area and there was a visitorbook with places to go to. She was very proactive and quick to response, and helped us a lot. We are safe to stay, she was the best host, we ever had on this site. The area itself is really peaceful and quite, with lots of forests and lakes, but be aware that the stores and such are a bit far, which isn't a huge problem if you are coming with car or have a pass for the buses.

Johan's house was very spacious and comfortable for all 3 couples. We loved sitting on the decks and dock with lovely water views and beautiful boats coming and going from the nearby marina. The location was great for walking around the neighborhood and to the beach. It was ideal for exploring the archipelago by ferry out of Vaxholm and only a 35-40 minute drive to Stockholm.

Probably the best Host one can have and an amazing Location if you’re on vacation and want to be near sweden :)

We had a wonderful time at Harry's place! The views are spectacular and the pictures don't match the real experience. The house is very cozy and all amenities one could need are there. In particular, our children loved the place and the location on the island. There are numerous spots to hide and to explore, several toys for the sea etc etc. Harry was a very responsive and generous host who helped us with all the little issues that we did come up with. We would certainly love to come back!

We were allowed to stay at Karin's wonderful house for 2 weeks. The house is lovingly decorated and has everything you will need. The view of the sea is fantastic and Karin is a great and warm host.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely house, and close to swimming areas. The view from the living room/terrace is very beautiful. We would definitely return.

We spent the Christmas holidays with the family (2 adults and 3 teenagers) in Hampus's house. The house is very nice and comfortable and the place is particularly relaxing. I would highly recommend it. Thanks to Hampus for his hospitality and flexibility, as well as his tips for visiting the surrounding area.

We had a great stay with family and friends.

Wonderful stay. Went there for a week. A total of 2 families with 2 toddlers and a baby. Plenty of activities in the backyard and toys. A lot more spacious than we thought. A total of 2 floors plus an attic. 3 rooms in the top floor and 2 rooms in the ground floor. Lots of privacy if you travel with another family. Each of you get its own floor with its own full bathroom.

Honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had and we’ve had loads of good ones. The house and amenities are amazing. Very peaceful but close enough to towns and Stockholm to mix your break up if you fancy. Gernot couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We stayed with our two kids 8 and 9 who loved it and were joined by friends with a 14 year old who also loved it. Pool, darts, sauna, ping pong, football goals, rowing boat, basketball hoop, darts…. Amazing.

We had an amazing few nights at Annelis beautiful home - the house is extremely comfortable and welcoming and Anneli is very accommodating and helpful when communicating with - the views are incredible and we immediately felt very relaxed and at home when we arrived - couldn’t recommend more ! Thanks so much for having us !

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The house is very stylish and has so much space for families who may be staying. We really loved the sauna and the huge living areas. Lovisa responded very quickly to any questions or requests and was just a wonderful host.
