Family-friendly holiday rentals in Fareham

Me and my family stayed here for my mums birthday for the weekend. It was absolutely the most perfect place to be. Beautiful, spacious and modern house. With 3 bathrooms & robes for all of us. A very generous ampunt of cookery, pots, pans, glasses for us to use, which made it easier to cook in the kitchen. Also had salt, pepper, tea and a few bits of food for us to use. We travel a lot, and this is more than any other airbnb host has given us. The Jacuzzi was the highlight of our trip, so relaxing and easy to use. The rooms were neat and the beds and beddings were so soft and comfortable, I had a great sleep here. The house had a good heating system, an easy to use oven and cooker. The location was perfect. In a quite street, but a few mins from busy areas, shopping markets, the mall, the beach, and good restaurants. The host George was also very responsive. I have so much more great things I can say about this place. I highly recommend anyone to come and experience it for yourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was everything we were looking for in a nice, peaceful getaway. It's a beautiful place, perfect for a family getaway, with a beautiful big yard that is perfect for the whole family. The Hosts were amazing. Everything was very clean, and the instructions were very clear. Would recommend!

What a fantastic house,perfect for our family gathering for an 80th birthday. The games/cinema room was amazing,our 6yr old and 11yr old loved it and playing all the old xbox games. Great for keeping kids entertained. They now want to live here! The layout of the house was great for our needs with various seating areas and entertaining spaces. The pub opposite the house was nice and did a really good Sunday carvery. Would recommend to any other family groups looking for a get away. Thanks Paul!

This farmhouse was beautiful. It was in a wonderful location and the house itself was quaint and cosy. The amenities were above and beyond and all the rooms were comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend and love to go back. Thank you!

Wonderful location with loads of chickens running around. Very cosy inside and super warm duvet so you won’t be getting cold at night. Host is very responsive and attentive. The logs supplied were quite damn and really hard to light but host was happy to compensate by supplying extra logs. Would recommend 10/10 stay. Couldn’t be happier

What a wonderful place to stay. The peace I sought was found, the relaxation that was so much needed was there and very much welcomed. Days spent walking in the New Forest were finished with a chilled glass of wine in the hot tub that was tended daily by a really lovely chap. The lodge was spacious, clean and comfortable with the basics of equipment there for your use, which is helpful. The whole experience is one I shall repeat and have already begun to tell others to check it out too

Adam and I had a lovely weekend at the Lazy Lodge. The lodge is very spacious yet feels really cosy and has everything you need, both inside (particularly the hot tub!) and in the nearby area. Mark was super friendly on our arrival and gave some great recommendations for places to go. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay 😊

We had a great stay over new years. We were two small families and found the space to be ideal. We ate at the local pub twice during our stay which served good quality food. It was a nice break

Excellent location inside the ring road so getting out in all directions was easy. Beach was 5min walk away which was perfect for the pooch. Choice of 2 car parks very very nearby. Shops also nearby. Lots of nice pubs and restaurants to choose from. The accommodation was perfect for our break away.

we loved our stay at manor farm. the house was a treasure trove of beautiful old beams, and architectural features and fun stuff for kids and adults alike. I loved cooking on the aga and playing the piano! way bigger than expected and such a lovely peaceful location. we didn't want to leave

Paul was the most wonderful and understanding host for our situation and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comforting and relaxing. It felt like he really cared about our stay and even prepped a fire ready for our arrival. The house is beautiful and full of character, the open plan space felt like we were all connected but also had enough room for us to not feel at any time that we were all on top of each other. The area is so calm and the sun sets beautifully over the opposite field with horses grazing and the sun rises gorgeously through the trees that surround the house. Highly highly recommended.

We spent a few days leading up to the New Year cerebrating my husband’s illy birthday and used Chichester as a location all of the family could get to easily as the train station is a few minutes walk away. From the very start Amanda & Dominic were amazing hosts and gave us great instructions on how to get in to the property and answered all of my pre-visit questions very quickly. We loved our stay in their home that literally wrapped itself around us the moment we entered, we all said we felt so comfortable there and the log fire was just so inviting and cosy. Amanda & Dominic were such lovely people that we had the pleasure of meeting . We would definitely stay again and recommend their home without hesitation.

So lovely to return to this wonderful cottage. The views remain spectacular, it really is a peaceful haven and a fabulous space. Lindy is always so kind and helpful, along with her family, and we were so happy to be back again. The cottage has all that you need, it is the perfect space in a unique and very special location.

This was my second visit and met all my expectations. Set in the midst of a beautiful meadow surrounded by fields and woods yet a short distance from Ryde and fab beaches. It is a great location to recharge and reset. The All Seasons yurt is clean and well equipped for the cooler weather with cosy wood burner and a super comfy bed, and plenty of throws. The Kitchen is adequately supplied and Sarah provided a hamper of fresh produce on arrival. Sarah and Sue are warm and approachable. They clearly take a lot of pride in the upkeep of the yurt and surrounding meadow. It was all beautifully maintained. Very dog friendly too. There is plenty of parking and wheelbarrows to take stuff down. The shop is well stocked with extra logs, charcoal, wellies, homemade jams, chutneys, smoked garlic, marshmallows and freshly laid eggs. I cant recommend Fernhill Meadow highly enough, the perfect retreat. I will definitely be back.

What a fantastic oasis of tranquility to visit. Terry and Jenny are excellent hosts and could not do more for you. The huts were all styled beautifully and were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail is fantastic and Jenny has thought of everything. Sitting by the firepit at night, with a glass in hand listening to the owls was priceless. Florence, Hector and the dogs were just an added bonus. We will definitely return.

The apartment is in an unbeatable location, right on Southsea Common and close to restaurants, shops and museums. It's also huge, with big bedrooms and a really spacious open-plan kitchen and lounge area. The view from the lounge is stunning - watching the ships whilst having a cup of tea is a captivating! The only minor down-side was parking is on-street (or a close-by public car park) and it was tricky to find a space. However, it was the weekend before Christmas and the area was busy with parties, so it may be fine normally. Jane was very helpful and responsive - make sure you call her when you arrive so she can activate your parking permit. In summary, a really great place to stay - very highly recommended!

We loved our stay at the Party Barn. Katie was incredibly helpful with local recommendations and letting us use her lovely warm pool (set hours in the late afternoon, but she also gave us lots of flexibility during the day around her swimming lessons). Our kids loved visiting the pigs and sheep. The barn was very comfortable and we felt right at home there immediately. I'm sure we will be back. Thank you Katie!

Absolutely loved staying here! The place was incredibly clean, and the park had lots of things to do. Had an amazing sleep here as the beds were so comfortable, sheets were fresh and clean, and the environment was very quiet. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay with all our family to celebrate a special birthday - we loved the house, all able to eat together around the table was wonderful, enjoying chatting and drinking in the beautiful lounge and the younger ones loved the hot tub and braver ones the swimming pool. Great position for all the lovely New Forest areas and walks

Susie is an amazing host - we got a warm greeting on arrival, the house / local information provided was really helpful and the cottage / location were amazing. The wood burning fires were great for this time of year and there was lots to do for our son on a rainy day - ping pong, pool, and plenty of other games. The local walks are great and we would highly recommend the Rising Sun for food!! The stairs are a great feature and in keeping with the cottage but not kid friendly - so we accompanied our boy up and down the stairs. We definitely want to go back for when the pool and tennis court are open in the summer 😊

Just had a wonderful 2 night stay with our 3 young children. It was a cosy and homely base for our exploring, and we thought the added extras of tea/coffee/biscuits were lovely. We hope to return in future :) thank you!

Had a lovely stay with family. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property and surrounds. The living area was inviting and convivial with a cosy log fire. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive, going out of her way to accommodate and make our stay memorable. Definitely recommend.

Really convenient location, we walked to the beach and swam in the sea several times and ate out locally. Lidl and a little Tesco very nearby for buying groceries. If you want seaside 2p machines, avoid the amusements next to the Beachlands car park and go to the ones inside Funland. The pools at the park were great; indoor heated was a little deep for smaller kids to stand in, but they particularly enjoyed the heated outdoor one and there was also an unheated paddling pool and lots of seating. Caravan was great although the door was a little sticky and the oven dial indicators required a bit of guesswork - kitchen much better equipped than many we have stayed in. It is in a great location on the park as it’s right near the entrance and main hub. The kids appreciated the PlayStation after time outside and Jonathan was really quick to respond to all queries. We’d happily stay again if returning to the area.

Fantastic location for walking & exploring. The barn is beautifully presented and stylishly furnished. Very spacious. Loved seeing the Llamas on our morning walk with our dog - on our doorstep. The New Inn pub down the road - Victoria’s tip - awesome, friendly, great food at a sensible price - try the venison or brill filets! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for longer.
