LOVED this gem of a retreat. I mean how can you not love a sauna, kayak, hot tub, fire pit, and a spacious cabin that overlooks port moody. I wish I could stay for a month! And so cool, you take a boat to get to the cabin. I’ve been telling everyone at my work about this place!

The Band House, where music is made.

MirandaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an amazing time at the band cabin. We arrived new years eve and Jennifer and Garth were very kind in leaving us a bottle of champagne! We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, the wood fire hot tub and Cooper the dog. The cabin was super comfortable for 6 adults with lots or lounge space and an awesome dining table. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved being surrounded by the forest with so much natural light. The property around the cabin was quiet and peaceful too. We will definitely come again!

We had such a great time at Carraholly Retreat! The boat ride over was super easy, and the place itself was so cute and cozy. We loved the clean hot tub and spent a lot of time relaxing in the sauna - it was such a treat. Perfect spot for a quick getaway from the city. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

This was our first time staying longer than one day in Canada. It was beautiful and peaceful, The Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to grab groceries our first night and they gave us some Pasta and Spaghetti. The hot tub was also very warm and relaxing. We will be back in the Summer to Kayak and swim for sure!

"Taluswood Experience"-Ski in/out, 4 bdrm, 4 bath

KarinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a great time! Well furnished unit, with enough space for everyone and great game area with a pool table. We enjoyed being close to the slopes and overall location. The only downside was that the jacuzzi was a bit farther way but some of us still made it work!

Micro Cabin in the Woods No. 2

NicoleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This Microcabin was the perfect spot for my last minute trip to Whistler. The space was very warm and cozy and I loved being surrounded by trees and enjoying the feeling of camping while being a few steps from the washroom and the car. It was a very peaceful retreat. The mattress was extremely comfortable with clean, fresh linens. And there is also a mini fridge and kurig which was a nice surprise. I hope we can return one day to do some mountain biking and check it out in the summer.

Cedar's Shadow Cottage

SamuelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an amazing weekend stay here! Doug was very responsive throughout our stay and was there to greet us and show us to the cabin which was a short walk from the guest parking lot. The cabin was exactly what we saw in the pictures, clean and super cozy, a perfect little cottage getaway. We were there for a ski trip, but hope to be back when it gets warmer to explore the numerous trails around the area! Thank you for your amazing hospitality Donna & Doug, it was an absolute pleasure being able to stay there!

Alderwood Farm Cozy Cottage

MarcusRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I had the most wonderful stay at Jules’ cottage at Alderwood Farm! The cottage was incredibly cozy yet felt surprisingly spacious, thanks to the high ceilings and thoughtful layout. The photos don’t do it justice! The bathroom was a particular highlight with its stunning Mediterranean-style tiles and a big skylight that filled the space with natural light—it was an absolute dream (especially when it rained). Not to mention Tony the donkey, the geese, the dogs, the chickens, and of course, the emus, were all so much fun to see. After just two nights, it genuinely hurt to leave, and this is the first Airbnb I’ve stayed at where I immediately wanted to plan a return trip. Jules was a fantastic host, incredibly friendly, made great recommendations on what to do and where to eat, and overall made the entire experience perfection. Can’t wait to visit again!

Paradise Valley Acres

NajiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cabin’s layout was thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and views of nature. The place was very clean and welcoming. It was the ideal place to disconnect and truly take in the serene surroundings. The outdoor sauna was a highlight – it was phenomenal, offering a relaxing experience with stunning views of the river. Overall, it was peaceful and rejuvenating for my partner and I, and we recommend it for anyone looking to escape and enjoy some peace and quiet.

The Lakefront Lodge - Off-Grid Wilderness Retreat

RebeccaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are frequent visitors to Pitt Lake as we are local with our own boat. We often pass by this retreat and talked about staying there and we’re glad we were able to book it last minute as it’s normally booked well in advance. Definitely a nice, peaceful get away for a few days with out family.

Gorgeous Waterfront Guest Cottage

ChadRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The location and view are unbelievable. The house seems brand new. Everything is very nice. From the moment you walk in you feel at home. Waking up to water and mountains , watching the views change constantly was so peaceful. Sheila met us when we showed up and we chatted for a few minutes but other than that it was silent and relaxing for 4 days. Gibson is a 10 minute drive for town stuff….make sure to check out Gibsons Landing for a stroll along the water. Plenty of other little great towns to visit within a short drive along the coast. From the views, the most comfortable bed, the gas fireplace, heated floors and quiet, peaceful surroundings…you can’t beat this place! Thanks Gary and Sheila for opening your beautiful home and sharing it with us.

The Ocean at your Door - Cozy Waterfront Cottage

LindsayRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This space is perfect--quiet, private, warm, calm, blissful--and will not disappoint. Waking up to the ocean view, the beauty of the surrounding land which ever way one looks is exquisite. The stone beach out front is great for sharing coffee and conversation. We were blessed with an abundance of creatures passing by--sea lions, playful otters, curious crows, herons and buffleheads to name just a few. If you're looking for a little bubble away from the bustle of things, this is the place to go.

Pitt Lake Cabin #8 - Boat Access Only

DonnaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I have to say that this was probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. We swam in the rain, hiked, read, did puzzles, and painted. We cooked together and made the best of the rain. The neighbors didn't seem to be around, so we had this little slice of paradise all to ourselves. The place isdogs friendly, which is a huge plus. I loved the old stove, and we even had our first crayfish. There were lots of huckleberries to pick, so we made huckleberry pancakes. I would recommend this place 100%. We hope to come back for my son's and my birthday in September.

Coastal Retreat

AlistairRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The spacious "cabin" is superbly designed and equipped. Top quality appliances, under-floor heating (which we didn't need, it being summer) with multiple controls for different areas of the house (which is a better description for it), triple-glazed windows with screens, I could go on! The forest situation, in a waterfront residential district of large lots and big houses, ia tranquil and beautiful. As we were visiting family in the area, we didn't do much more than sleep in the "cabin", but one could truly live in it for extended periods. It's hard to think what could be done to improve it. A special touch, which my wife and family visitors admired very much, was the "frosted glass" window next to the front door, which showed an aerial view chart of the islands and coastline of the Georgia Strait waters of BC. We will certainly stay there again!

Monika and Daniels' place was amazing! Its a super relaxing quaint place with any amenities one would need for a stay. Roberts creek general store and pier are also well within walking distance. Daniel was an awesome host! He was there to greet us, despite it being on the later side, and was very thorough with everything about the place as well as being very responsive throughout our stay. Would absolutely come back!
