A very cosy place to stay with all essentials provided to a high standard. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. The views and tranquil surroundings were beautiful and we left feeling restored.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay .. it was so tranquil and I loved listening to the birds! The hot tub was also amazing , with all the twinkly lights around it. It made it feel so special… Emma was an amazing host! Loved toasting those marshmallows btw

A wonderful few nights in the yurt. it was ourfirst experience of staying in a yurt and we weren't disappointed. The yurt heated up quickly with the log burner which was good as it was the end of September. We were surprised how well equipped the kitchen was and there was even a dining area. The compost toilets were very impressive! Emma And Jon were so friendly and helpful and even kindly spent time thoroughly looking for something I thought I'd lost there but found elsewhere!! We would highly recommend and would love to return to stay again.

Absolutely lovely stay. Stayed right next to the highland cows which made it even better! The fire pit was lovely with an amazing view for far and the sunsets are best ive seen! Andrea was a lovely lady making us feel very welcome. The dogs welcomed us onto the farm straight away. Couldnt have asked for a better stay one of my favourite stays ive had ever. THANKYOU very much!

Brilliant accommodation in the perfect spot for walking. Friendly and helpful. Added bonus of great amenities and the little breakfast bar was a treat. Thanks for the stay.

We spent 2 lovely nights in the yurt, which could have been a challenge since it is January! But everything was super, despite snow and rain and minus temperatures! It is very peaceful, pretty isolated with amazing views and sunsets. It is 'back to basics' - but as described. The outdoor kitchen was fun, and had most things we needed. The fire 'pit' has a grill and there was plenty of wood and kindling. We did bring our own chairs (lots of log seating, but all a bit damp in winter). The water had frozen when we arrived but Rosie left us 2 large cartons of water, so all good. And the yurt was toasty once we lit the indoor burner. Woods are full of wildlife, spotted 2 deer and an owl... and heard much more. Will be back in the warmer months for sure!

We had a really relaxing stay! The whole place was idyllic, secluded, and peaceful. We slept warm in a very comfortable bed with a log fire and the sounds of wildlife around us, played pool and cooked in the barn cottage, and the bathroom was spacious and shower amazing. We cooked over an open fire pit and sat around the bonfire, everywhere we looked there were little characterful details, and we found it the ideal location to visit both north and south Cornwall. Rufus greeted us warmly and made sure we knew to contact him for any reason then left us to enjoy ourselves. One day we’d love to return to the yurt and cobb cottage, a real find!

Everything is great, the super cozy place, as described, if you like nature, the place is as indicated. We will most likely repeat.

Laura was very helpful. She prepared yurt before our arrival and it was already warm and cozy. All necessary equipment were provided.

the yurt matches the description and photos, inside was homely, clean and smelt lovely. the outside is more "rustic" but this is what we expected given the description and photos provided. there was lots of extra touches (fresh eggs, coffee, toiletries, croissants, games, local guides) and plenty of firewood and coals. the hot tub was heated for us ready at arrival. we loved the company of the chickens and ducks that sat with us whilst we had a few drinks in the sunshine ☀️

We came to Barefoot Yurts to escape the routine and reconnect in nature, and it was above and beyond what we had imagined! I can't recommend a stay here enough, we left feeling so rested and happy and enjoyed every moment in the space. The facilities were fantastic we had everything we needed along with some beautiful and thoughtful touches, everything was so comfortable and the view from the yurts is so special. We arranged our weekend specifically in line with the full harvest moon and were able to watch the moonrise so clearly and in total bliss around the campfire ... thank you Julia :) x

Wow, this must be the best place we have ever stayed at! It was our first experience in a yurt and the yurt was just brilliant and very cozy! Hot tub outside the yurt was just perfect to relax in in the evening, nice and warm for this cold weather and cleaned regularly. Lots of delicious food a little drive away from the site, well worth trying! We were made to feel very comfortable and nothing was too much of an ask from Michelle and Phil. We'll definitely be coming back again!

We had a great time and will definitely be returning again soon! We hiked the west Dorset to three peaks and returned to sit in the hot tub peacefully to recover from our hikes, Everything was perfect! Highly recommended *****

I booked this on the same day I stayed and I absolutely loved it! It was everything I needed - the yurt is beautiful, the surroundings stunning, peaceful, there’s walks nearby and everything provided was perfect. It’s got everything you need and it’s SO cosy! It was super cold and windy outside but tucked up in the yurt with a book was paradise ☺️. It’s the best getaway from the hustle and bustle of work life I think anyone could ask for. Thank you Rachel for such a wonderful experience and I will 100% be back for another stay!

We loved our stay here, really peaceful, lots of wildlife and beautiful countryside. The yurt was lovely and felt homely, the bed was really comfortable too. We didnt want to leave. Kate and Richard were perfect hosts, we found them friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Devon.

A very nice and relaxing yurt which is separate and therefore brings even more peace, there is a compost toilet which takes some getting used to but is very good, the shower and normal toilet is a little further but otherwise fine. The owners respond very quickly to requests and handle this very well and quickly, everything is hospitably ready upon arrival. Recommended for everyone to book, if there is time we want to book the summer again.

Pen and Patrick were amazing hosts. So kind and thoughtful and there was a great focus on attention detail. Everything was catered for and it was an excellent stay. They checked in on us throughout our stay and were super responsive to any questions or queries we had. Also they had some great recommendations for things to do in the area and it made it the perfect stay :) x

What a lovely peaceful retreat! This is such a special place to stay with a homey yet rustic feel. We had all of our basic needs met and then some! Sophie provided so many lovely touches to the space and the experience that made us feel right at home. She was a lovely host.

Wholesome break away in Norfolk staying in the most beautiful little yurt in perfect surroundings. Tranquil and relaxing, we had complete privacy and everything was exactly as stated. We were set back from the world, in a field surrounded by trees. Communication with the owners was fantastic. Both Jonny and Denise were so helpful. If you want a simplistic, chilled vibe, look no further. We lit the fire pit on the last night and did some star gazing. Thank you! We will be back!! X x

We had a great time at Mill Haven Place - we stayed in the sunset yurt with our two kids and it was perfect. The woodburner in the yurt made it really cosy and the covered outdoor kitchenette was great for meal prep. The pitches are well spaced out and the design with the trees makes it feel private yet spacious. We would definitely recommend!

Nick was amazing very helpful ,everything that was needed was there and even helped me with my log burner to get it going, the yurt was beautiful in every way and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud i liked it that much i have extended my stay here for another two weeks. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again thanks nick & Tracey for an amazing stay.

We fell in love with this little spot! It’s honestly beautiful. We felt at home right away, we personally loved the interior of the yurt and the cosy vibe it had. The hosts are super friendly and lovely to have a chat with I hit it off with them right away! My daughter loved looking at the animals around. Would highly recommend if you want a little spot to get away and completely switch off. We will definitely be returning and staying for longer one night just wasn’t enough! Thanks for letting stay, we loved every minute!

Great place to relax that’s not far from London. The host was very helpful and flexible with our checking in (we hit a massive traffic on the way there). The tent was amazing and the surrounding grounds even better. Loads of Swans and other birds around to admire. Would definitely come back.
