Yurt holiday rentals in Europe

A wonderful couple of nights away in the Viking longhouse / hobbit house for the children’s February half term. Beautiful countryside and a quirky, peaceful, back to nature experience that was enjoyed by all. We chose not to take our dog in the end because it limited where we could visit in the local area (nature reserves, castles, Portmeirion) but he would have been welcomed and loved the surroundings. We enjoyed wandering the tracks around the woodland and meeting the cats, chickens and pigs. The location is ideal as a base to explore the area. We would definitely stay again in the summer with the landscape in full bloom.

We stayed here for one night and it was amazing, Emma is so lovely and accommodating. The area is very private and quiet, it’s so relaxing and peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The hot tub was prepared for us, logs were ready for use in the log burner and fire outside and she even left us marshmallows to toast! We loved how sustainable and good for the surrounding animals the area is, especially the pond full of frogs! It was so cute and special, thank you very much Emma!

A wonderful few nights in the yurt. it was ourfirst experience of staying in a yurt and we weren't disappointed. The yurt heated up quickly with the log burner which was good as it was the end of September. We were surprised how well equipped the kitchen was and there was even a dining area. The compost toilets were very impressive! Emma And Jon were so friendly and helpful and even kindly spent time thoroughly looking for something I thought I'd lost there but found elsewhere!! We would highly recommend and would love to return to stay again.

Lovely yurt and beautiful location with amazing views. The on site facilities were really clean and well thought out. Really convenient location for zip world and Snowdonia.

We had a really relaxing stay! The whole place was idyllic, secluded, and peaceful. We slept warm in a very comfortable bed with a log fire and the sounds of wildlife around us, played pool and cooked in the barn cottage, and the bathroom was spacious and shower amazing. We cooked over an open fire pit and sat around the bonfire, everywhere we looked there were little characterful details, and we found it the ideal location to visit both north and south Cornwall. Rufus greeted us warmly and made sure we knew to contact him for any reason then left us to enjoy ourselves. One day we’d love to return to the yurt and cobb cottage, a real find!

Relaxing completely and “checking out” was the reason to book this place. This didn't disappoint us! What a tranquility you have at this location, back to basics. Together with our family roamed the domain, with the many cases played autumn leaves. Fire made for the yurt, eaten outside and made marshmallows. Great location and host!

Wow I don’t think I can even put in to words how beautiful this place really is, it’s such an amazing little gem tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. We left feeling totally grounded back to the nature and relaxed to the core. Honestly cannot wait to book our return visit. Has everything you need for some proper family time to reconnect back with each and be at one with nature. Olivia and grant really have created something so special here and am so soo grateful to have found this place 💝🙏💝

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and Jackie helped us settle into the yurt. The sound bath was an amazing welcome, and our 4 1/2 months old baby absolutely loved it, watching/listening to all the instruments in awe. That experience provided a serene pause for us. Jackie went above and beyond to make sure our first night we were comfortable in the yurt, assisting us with the stove and showing us genuine kindness. The way the yurt is furnished is so cosy and we loved sitting by the stove and all the little lights inside, the wood top space provided a magic atmosphere and we were able to cook our own food with the camp cook kit and fireside bbq. It was a lovely combination of both cooking outside/ enjoying the outdoors and also having the comfort and warmth of an indoor space to rest and sleep in. There is so much to explore in surrounding areas also, and we drove to the lizard area and various beaches during our stay. The whole experience is one for us to treasure

Mateo and Susana were very attentive and gave us a lot of flexibility for check-in time. The yurt is just as seen in the photos, a pass, it is not missing detail and is very well equipped. An authentic experience the yurt itself and the enclave, because you go out of the yurt and you can contemplate the magnificent views of the snowy mountain. 100% recommended. We will definitely repeat.

Laura was very helpful. She prepared yurt before our arrival and it was already warm and cozy. All necessary equipment were provided.

We had a wonderful stay, the hot tub was fantastic. very easy to find, friendly pub just round the corner and loved seeing the ducks, chickens and rabbits!

We came to Barefoot Yurts to escape the routine and reconnect in nature, and it was above and beyond what we had imagined! I can't recommend a stay here enough, we left feeling so rested and happy and enjoyed every moment in the space. The facilities were fantastic we had everything we needed along with some beautiful and thoughtful touches, everything was so comfortable and the view from the yurts is so special. We arranged our weekend specifically in line with the full harvest moon and were able to watch the moonrise so clearly and in total bliss around the campfire ... thank you Julia :) x

Amazing way to spend a few days on Gigha. The ger is in a beautiful garden a few minutes from the ferry, right beside Joe and Hannah's shop. They're incredible hosts - very welcoming and helpful. Loved it and hope to return one day!

Brilliant stay. We rented out both yurts as a large friendship group before going to Alton Towers and had a really lovely stay. The Yurt4Two in particular is incredibly cute and cosy. It is really well acquainted, and the extra touches of fresh local milk in the fridge, some local farm eggs, and a nice drink in the fridge really felt extra special. It also had yoga mats available to use. The wood burner was really effective and made the yurt very warm in the evening - just make sure to load on some fresh wood when you go to sleep to keep it burning and keep it warm overnight. I would also recommend that guests bring some slippers to wear inside the yurt to keep your feet warm as the wood floors can be a tad cold. The showers are very warm! Rachel was a great host and very responsive and helpful. Overall this was a really special and unique stay and I'd recommend it to anyone.

A very nice and relaxing yurt which is separate and therefore brings even more peace, there is a compost toilet which takes some getting used to but is very good, the shower and normal toilet is a little further but otherwise fine. The owners respond very quickly to requests and handle this very well and quickly, everything is hospitably ready upon arrival. Recommended for everyone to book, if there is time we want to book the summer again.

Pen and Patrick were amazing hosts. So kind and thoughtful and there was a great focus on attention detail. Everything was catered for and it was an excellent stay. They checked in on us throughout our stay and were super responsive to any questions or queries we had. Also they had some great recommendations for things to do in the area and it made it the perfect stay :) x

Sophie was an incredible host - probably the best we have ever had through AirBnB. The yurt was enchanting and private - perfect after a day of exploring the wilderness of Skye. We can’t wait to come back again!

We had a great time at Mill Haven Place - we stayed in the sunset yurt with our two kids and it was perfect. The woodburner in the yurt made it really cosy and the covered outdoor kitchenette was great for meal prep. The pitches are well spaced out and the design with the trees makes it feel private yet spacious. We would definitely recommend!

Nick was amazing very helpful ,everything that was needed was there and even helped me with my log burner to get it going, the yurt was beautiful in every way and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud i liked it that much i have extended my stay here for another two weeks. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again thanks nick & Tracey for an amazing stay.

Exactly as described and pictured, this yurt is a peaceful dream. Hosted by a lovely family who were welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. The yurt has everything you need during your stay, comfy bed and seating, warm fire and blankets, amazing scenery and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend to visit here for a calming and relaxing trip! A short drive to local towns/villages for homely pubs etc.! Lots of walks within the area. I had an amazing time here. Thanks so much!

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place very relaxing to be in nature ,with no WiFi or TV The sound of running water and watching the graceful swans is very calming First time in a yurt we had everything needed for comfort although we didn’t seem to have the knack of keeping the log burning stove alight throughout the night electric blanket and warm duvet kept us cosy Lots of good walking right from the farm and friendly local pubs serve decent food Hosts were very welcoming and helpful Perfect place to recharge your batteries
