Loved the house and the area. The place is compact, but doesn’t feel crowded at all. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. Easy walk to Shelter Cove beach, the lighthouse, and the Surf Point coffee shop (Gyppo Ale Mill is right around the corner, but we haven’t tried it) Can’t recommend it more - we’re very likely to return.

Breathtaking views! very comfortable beds, thoughtful well-stocked home, we had everything we could have wanted or needed. Excellent host/guest communication, easy instructions, hand-written welcome note w/bottles of wine. We spent the rainy days playing ping-pong, movies & puzzles, sunny days we biked & watched the sunset over the ocean from the hot tub. We watched seals on the rocks & black sands beach is gorgeous! Great local food & coffee shops. By far one of the best rental experiences we have had, truly wonderful for us in every way. Fantastic property, we hope to stay again as soon as possible!

If you’re looking for a serene stay, this is perfect. Exactly as described and so beautifully appointed. Make sure to bring what you need in terms of drinks and snacks. Three great restaurants in town. We enjoyed all three. Highly recommend ❤️

Justin’s place is a total gem in tiny Benbow and we’ll be back for sure! Everything is thoughtful and modern, beds comfortable with lux linens, and the pool/hot tub/sauna plus pool house is a total bonus! There were so many stars and the property felt extremely private in a small neighborhood. The camping space along a tributary entering into the Eel is a bonus w a perfect camping area. I’m not sure I’ve been to another AirBnb that so thoughtfully considered how to make sure guests had a super fun, relaxing, experience. Justin was immediately responsive when we had a question and helped us to make sure we could access all the amenities. Don’t miss cruising the Ave of the Giants and check out a fly fishing tour w a local guide. Benbow Inn for happy hr is a few min away. We’ll be back! Mahalo!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It’s close to the beach and not a far drive to the Redwoods Forest. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. We also love Bones the cat! Would definitely stay again!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The farmhouse is beautifully maintained, with rustic charm and modern amenities that cater to every need. The spacious rooms were comfortable and inviting, and I loved waking up to the sounds of nature and the sight of rolling pastures. An added treat to the stay was the hosts also gave us a tour of their family owned dairy farm. The farmhouse is conveniently located near local attractions, including quaint shops and delicious eateries. The hosts were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering tips on local spots to visit and even sharing stories about the history of the farmhouse. I appreciated their attention to detail and the little touches that made my stay even more special—like fresh milk and cheese from local dairy cows.
