Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Eskdale

Mary's home is cozy and artful. While not the largest, it has been recently remodeled to a high standard with rich attention to detail. Everything from the stovetop to the tub to the fixtures is high-quality and works beautifully. We especially loved the gas fireplace, which turned our bad weather into an opportunity to cozy up, read books, play Lego, and embrace some hygge. A note of caution: the house, while beautifully located in the hills and quiet for restful nights, is on a blind turn. This makes driveway parking tricky, and street parking isn’t ideal due to the lack of a true shoulder—though some do park partially on the sidewalk. I appreciated the fully enclosed yard with gates but wouldn’t stay again while my kids are so young. Mary herself is super helpful, kind, and across the street!

A gem. Lovely little beach bach to get away from it all. Can’t beat the spot on the beach. Also close to the vineyards, so we did our day bike tours nearby.

Very comfortable, felt like home. Good location near cricket grounds as we were down for a tournament. Very close to town.

The house is set on lovely grounds with ample activities for the children: tennis court, swimming pool and a table tennis table in the garage. The inside of the house is spotlessly clean and beautiful. Although a teeny tiny imperfection is the absence of a microwave oven, this does not detract from the overall charm and functionality of the house. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Fleur’s home is exactly how Airbnb started many years ago. You go straight into and lived in somebody’s home when the owner is away. You can see how the owner would have lived in their living, noticed their clothes, fridges with their favorite foods, and their belongings everywhere. On top of that, you will mingle with their lovely cat - Kitty, feed her food, and clean her food bowel. She even meditated together with us in the morning when she saw us. She is definitely the star of this Airbnb home, especially for the cat lover. The home is exactly like your home, requiring fixing up and improvement every now and then. During our stay, the shower water pressure is a bit low and the shower screen at the main bathroom is a bit short so water splashing onto the floor. This is definitely the one if you want a homely experience and a cat lover!

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Napier city, where you could walk to restaurants. The apartment was beautifully and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was modern and very well equipped. Keri was super friendly and responded to questions really quickly. Our group really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. The only drawbacks would be if you struggled with stairs and if you preferred your car close by.

A fabulous place to stay. Spacious, comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need. 2 bathrooms is a plus. Parking right outside. Handy to the village. Such a great find!

We had a great stay at Di's apartment centrally located just off thr main shopping g strip. walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and attractions in Napier. The apartment itself is quite unique, Di has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into furnishing and decorating the place, and with the ample living space the kids and even the adults had a great time exploring - with 4 kids under 5yrs there were lots of space in the 2 living rooms and enclosed rooftop for kids to play and be themselves; definitely kid safe. Needless to say the apartment itself and all linen and bedding was clean and spotless, the portable cot for one of our toddlers was very helpful, if they had an additional one it would have made it even better but we made a last minute booking so we're very grateful to carry one less cot. Would definitely recommend and if available next time would come back again! thank you for a wonderful experience.

the unit was modern and very comfortable. beds amazing and block out blinds. the sliding glass doors out onto the balcony let in amazing breezes. the view was beautiful. everything was there, the kitchen well stocked with everything you would need.

Stayed here for a few weeks during a workshop, and the location in Napier couldn’t have been better-- you can walk to everything—beach, restaurants, including Vinci's Pizza (recommended!), Bluff Hill Lookout, the Aquarium, etc. Moira was patient and accommodating, handling my constantly shifting plans with grace, even over the holidays. She is very knowledgable about Napier specifically and New Zealand in general. Great host. The unit itself is exactly as described: cozy, comfortable, and surrounded by morning sun and greenery. The balcony was a lovely bonus, and the bed and shower were great. Nice to have a parking spot, too. This is a cozy gem in a quiet town. Great place to come home to after a day exploring. Highly recommend.

We have stayed in AirBnb's all over the world and this was the best appointed place we have ever stayed. They literally have thought of everything! The unit is beautiful and conveniently located on the Marine Parade close to the aquarium and they even provided everything we needed for our morning coffee and breakfast. We would HIGHLY recommend this unit and the hosts are wonderful

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and wish it had been for longer. There’s lots to do. We explored Napier, the Hastings Farmers’ Market, Havelock North and the Te Mata Park / Park (fantastic walks there). Superb meal at Craggy Range (booked well in advance). Pam is the most delightful, kind host. Many lovely personal touches in her accommodation. A very comfortable stay. Peaceful sunny garden too, and playful friendly cats! We would love to come back.
