Beachfront holiday rental in Escondido Beach

This place was everything a person could ask for, best location beach front, would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Great host, the property was everything you could ask for.

The property with all it's amenities was beyond our expectations is an understatement. The accommodations were comfortable and the perfect size for two couples, however the location across from the beach and the caretakers Luce and her son Jefferson were the real stars of this property. After much research, and reading al the outstanding reviews, we knew Playa Lido Rosa was our choice. It did not disappoint. We are chomping at the bit to get back to this amazing property as soon as we can. And this time we may never leave.

We absolutely loved Maud’s place. Our family of 7 stayed here so we could be close to the city, but enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean. It was just steps away from the beach, with the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Miles of beach to walk on if you wanted to. Maud was so incredibly helpful during our stay. She was so quick to answer all my questions not just about the house, but the countless other questions I had about the area. She helped arrange horseback riding and an ATV adventure for our family, which were both amazing. Getting to her house was much easier than other homes we stayed at. This was such a wonderful place to stay. If you’re questioning it just do it!

I would highly recommend staying at David's place. David was great to work with leading up to our trip and his co-host Askel was AMAZING!!! Askel arranged our transportation from and to San Jose Airport for us, helped us book our excursions, and answered all of our touristy questions in a friendly and timely manner. Simple the best customer service ever! The location is perfect for a quiet and amazing vacation. The beach is 30 steps from the house with beautiful black sand, Jaco was only 10 minutes away if you want to experience all the fun things tourists do. The house is beautiful, beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with all the things you need for cooking, the pool was warm and clean and refreshing to relax in on hot days. I give this place a 10/10 and will stay here again when I go back to Costa Rica.

I thought the price was more than fair. We took surf lessons by walking 2 minutes from his house to the beach where lessons were available. I felt safe and the proximity to downtown Jaco was great. You are away from the main area by a 2 minute drive, which was perfect for us as it was a bit quieter. The apartment is stocked well, clean and the gate provided a sense of security.

It is a very nice, modern, clean apartment with excellent view, good location and with a lot of security. I would definitely come back.

Amazing location! I don't recall the name of the Italian restaurante across the street but I highly recommend it. The beach was a few minutes walk away and one of the best ones we've seen here. Will absolutely stay there again.

university family place, quiet and with access to supermecado, restaurants in plaza at the front of the condominium, close to the beach and the pool of the condominium, as well as excellent pool of the house

The condo was much larger than expected. Opening the glass doors to the balcony created a beatify breeze and was better than air conditioning. The pool area was pristine! Plenty of lounge chairs. Security was very attentive.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The outside living space with the pool and shaded seating areas was our favorite in the early morning and late afternoon. The beach was very close by and beautiful. A bonus was the fantastic Los Almendros restaurant, owned by Karen and Chiri an easy walk from the house. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend this AirBNB. The hosts were very helpful and very responsive.

Beautiful house, great location for exploring the coast. We enjoyed watching all the birds at breakfast. House is exactly as pictured and host was very responsive!

The setting was absolutely beautiful and having the beach right across the way was amazing!! The kids loved swimming in the ocean and pool. Jessica goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have everything they need and responded quickly. The home is Costa Rican Tico style, we loved the care takers and their Pura Vida love they shared. We felt right at home and enjoyed the lifestyle! So if you’re looking for this type of experience this could be the place for you. Kitchen fully stocked for cooking. Beautiful outdoor deck to enjoy the ocean and sunsets. Macaws flew over the home every day when we were there. We received a warm welcome and Mendoza one of the care takers took our boys out fishing, which they thoroughly enjoyed and cooked up fish for us that night! We loved every minute of it! Wish we could’ve stayed longer and enjoy the beauty and people!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

This was such a wonderful stay! Giovanni’s place is more beautiful than the pictures. Giovanni was super responsive to the only issue we had and had it resolved quickly. He also gave a thorough list of recommendations and places to eat. Would book with Giovanni again in this same location.

A very well-located house, with security, access to the club, and services that make the stay very pleasant. Donna is an excellent host, always attentive to ensuring her guests have a very enjoyable experience.

We recently stayed at Villa Azul at the end of December for 4 nights. The location was great and close to town, yet very quite and peaceful. The access to the private beach was wonderful and a luxury for sure! it was a 5 min walk from our room! the views from the villa was amazing. We saw capuchin monkeys from our deck and scarlet macaws from the pool snacking on almonds. Amazing! This is completely on me as I did not see the floor plan closely enough in the listing, but I didn't realize that the two bedrooms don't have an interior connection. This was slightly inconvenient for us travelling with young children, but we made it work! just a heads up in case it helps anyone. Also, the interior could use some minor maintenance but nothing that prevented us from having an enjoyable stay! Pablo, the groundskeeper, and the cleaning lady were nice, and we appreciated the laundry service. Thanks to David and his team for making our stay memorable!

When I saw the large windows in the master bedroom and living room looking out onto the water and the mountains I was in awe. It was breathtaking. Gilbert was quick to respond when I was having trouble locating the property and he had great directions. The sunsets were incredible. We met some nice people at the pool as it is shared with 9 total units.

This property in Bajamar was nice and peaceful. The location is hard to beat. The Sand and Ocean as your backyard was very nice and peaceful. The Ocean isn't safe to swin in, but Sitting on the sand listening to the waves and watching the sunset is hard to match. The Home is very well spread out, with the bedrooms apart from the Kitchen and rancho were you can hang out and cook. If someone wants to sleep in or go to bed early, the rest of the group can be at the other part and not bother those wanting to sleep.

The beachfront villa was wonderful, we wish we could have stayed longer! The beach feels like a hidden gem, not crowded, beautiful, with warm water and great surf! We saw sloths and monkeys on the trees by the beach, macaws flying above, and iguanas making rounds through the garden. Flori, the concierge, was exceptionally responsive, helpful and friendly, answering any questions quickly and helping organize meals/activities in the local area. The villa itself was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable for our family. We can't recommend this place enough!

It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

Don't hesitate—this is the best home in the area! Conveniently located, with easy access right off the Costanera highway... and literally on the beach. This house has it all. You are five minutes from so many great restaurants in Uvita in one direction and five minutes to great restaurants in Ojochal in the other direction. (Get the Tuna at Heliconia!) Easily plan day trips to every area waterfall and adventure tour. Wake up every morning to the sound of the birds and the waves. You could not ask for greater hosts that Natalia and Dave. Enjoy your stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Carrie's place in Bejuco. Her and her husband were incredibly communicative leading up to and during our stay. We appreciated the scenic views from the condo and watching macaws fly by in the morning as we drank coffee from the balcony. Away from the more touristy parts of the coast, we enjoyed coming back to the serenity of the condo after a day of exploring the surrounding areas. Would recommend for anyone seeking solace or a home base from Manuel Antonio.
