House holiday rentals in Erving

A fun winter break/birthday getaway! Sarah’s house had plenty of bedrooms for all guests. The game room, pool table, and wood stove/fireplace were great to have on these cold February days. Everyone enjoyed the sunroom and large dining table. The hot tub and outdoor sleds were used as well. The history of the house and beautiful views from the property were an interest to all. I bet this house is a lovely spot in the summer as well!

Another great weekend at Ed’s! It was our group’s second time staying here, and we loved it just as much as the first, which is to say—a lot! Ed is very considerate and responsive, and there’s plenty to do for everyone. We are already looking forward to next year!

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Brad was friendly and communicative, making check-in and our stay smooth. It was wonderful experience, and we’d recommend this place to others!

We had an amazing stay! The house is lovely and very comfortable, perfect for going skiing at mount snow and cross country skiing and prospect mountain. We were really glad to have picked it. The house is spacious, we all had a lot of room to ourselves, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The farm is gorgeous. Great grocery stores nearby. Sharon was amazing - so helpful when a winter storm threatened to make it hard for us to drive home. She offered us extra time or even another night discounted, which was really generous. She also communicated with friends to help us determine if the road back to NYC had been cleared. We are so grateful for her help! We hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the farm even more.

The house was very spacious, the kids ranging from 6-10 loved the games, especially cue ball and fuzz ball. The adults loved the fact there was a lower half where the kids can watch movies and play, while the adults did grown up chatting in the living space. A memorable ski weekend that everyone enjoyed to the fulliest and sad it went so fast. We look forward returning one day in the spring or summer to see a different aspect of the area. Thank you!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Teva and his lovely home. The house is spacious, tidy, comfortable, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and everything you would need is there. We skied at Catamount which was ~20 minutes away - super convenient. Finally, and most notable, the overall experience and Teva’s attention to his guests’ experience was outstanding. He promptly and proactively reached out with local recommendations, was accessible during our stay for any questions, and made us feel right at home. We hope to come back over the summer for a little getaway.

We rented Brian’s home for a weekend getaway celebrate my husband’s birthday. The house is a converted barn which is cool and it was spotless. Everything was great despite the looming big snowstorm coming. It was quite the adventure for our family and so much fun. The house was perfect for our family of 8. It is way up on a mountain and right around the corner from a clubhouse with game room, gym, indoor pool and jacuzzi. I was a bit concerned about the weather coming and Brian was very responsive to my questions about the weather and any other questions I had. This weekend surely will be one the grandkids won’t soon forget about! Thank you Brian for renting your home to us!

We stayed at Jacqueline’s place while visiting family in town for the Christmas holiday. We would definitely consider returning. The home is absolutely gorgeous and was a great place to hang out. It would be fun to stay here in the warmer weather with the huge property with lots of room to walk around, the patio, grill and the pool. There are 2 separate areas in the house to hang out in, each with a TV, plus a lot of seating for meals. The furniture including the beds were super comfortable. The master bedroom and bath are beautiful and have all the luxury comforts (heated toilet seat, bidet, huge walk in shower, double sinks and towel dryer. Jacqueline was amazingly responsive, getting back to us very quickly whenever we texted with a question or request. Some might not like the fact that you have to reach out to the host to control the heat or cooling; not ideal, but Jacqueline responded quickly. A bit expensive considering it is the cold season, but a very lovely stay!

Very nice accommodations in a great location. A vehicle needed to get around to plentiful hiking, shops in nearby towns, and cultural sites. Very nice home for family gatherings and with all necessary amenities.

We rang in the New Year with a peaceful get away at the Martin's gorgeous A-frame. The hosts were extreme communicative and helpful—they even worked with us to bring a sauna onto a property. This is a wonderful getaway just 50 minutes from Boston that I will absolutely be returning to.

Jason was a great host! Their home is conveniently located to pretty much everything Stratton has to offer. The home itself is very cozy and great for a family get together, or hanging out with friends. The fire place is absolutely awesome, I could sit in-front of that thing all day and night. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The Sauna and hot tub are some great features to this house as well. The neighborhood is very safe, clean, private, and quiet. This home is great for kids and pet friendly. I have nothing but good things to say about jason being so accommodating with anything we needed and offering us a great home to stay in. Would love to come back for another trip! Thanks again for the perfect stay for our family winter getaway.

The house was beautiful. Very homey and lots of interesting decor. There are so many rooms it is easy to get lost at first. It was great that there were 2 bedrooms on the main floor for people who don’t do stairs. It was difficult at first finding all of the thermostats but everything was well labeled and eventually we found the one behind the double doors in the main house. There is a trail going through the forest and 4 houses down the road. The road can be kind of busy and cars drive fast but there is enough shoulder. The trails are beautiful. Stove in the primary kitchen was a bit difficult at first because the knobs don’t say which burners they go too but trial and error worked. We will be back! I made a scavenger hunt for the kids to find various things in the house like gnomes and they had a blast! Thank you..

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described, if not better. The space was clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The host was very communicative and thoughtful, providing us with everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. The location was also perfect—close to all the main attractions but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and welcoming place to stay.

This A frame was a perfect home base for a brief Mount Snow getaway. It’s a cozy and efficient space that worked perfect for our family of 4. Very close to a bunch of great restaurants and breweries. There is a bus stop in the driveway, which is convenient if you choose to use and also something to be aware of if you see folks standing in the driveway that is why. :) The host’s communications were super clear and friendly. Really glad we chose to stay here.

This was our second time to stay. It had a gorgeous view surrounded by beautiful trees. It was so peaceful and relaxing with everything we needed. James is so easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommended!

Steal of a deal for this place. Perfect for any couple or family looking to do a vermont ski vacation. Has all the amenities you need, it’s super spacious, it’s right by town, and it’s a short drive to stratton or bromley. Easy 5 stars.

Second visit and it was just as nice as the first. We like this house inside and out. The pool and walking trail through the woods are great, and the living room is super comfy for family hanging out at night or on a rainy morning. Highly recommend!

Grreat little house for our family of three. Well-insulated and comfortable. Cozy and felt like home. Plenty of amenities to make us feel at home. Situated in the middle of a few different ski places. Neighborhood feels safe. The place was clean and the owner was responsive .

Absolutely incredible place! Tons of room, bathrooms for each bedroom was a big hit. Amazing location. Views were magnificent after 8 inches of snow and some freezing rain. Perfect excuse to not leave the house and enjoy the peaceful serenity over a nice margarita. Fall views must be totally awesome. Don’t need to bring anything except you, your friends and some food. The home has everything you need, all set and ready to go, and I mean everything you’ll need. The house manager Teri was an absolute peach. Her connection to the house and knowledge of the local history was amazing. 5 STARS doesn’t do this place justice. Already planning a return visit.

Large house in a very remote area. Approximately 70 acres. It was very relaxing and was nice to enjoy the pool which was professionally cleaned before arrival. The master bath has an incredible view of the mountains and an enormous shower. Pool table was fun and well taken care of. We stayed on probably one of the hotter weekends and the house cooled down at night pretty well just by opening the windows. Most rooms had ceiling fans if no other fans were provided. I can imagine this house would be amazing in the winter or fall too. With the screened in fireplace room and additional fire place inside the main house. You’re also close to 2 ski mountains each about 18 miles away. I could see myself renting again in the future. Thanks again

Great stay at Andrea's house in Canaan. House is very nicely renovated and appointed with plenty of room for a family gathering. Walking distance to restaurants in town, and really enjoyed the firepit. Would definitely stay again.
