Beautiful place for a restful time. Lots to do around the area.

We stayed in Porto for 5 days as a family of three. The place was great. We had everything we needed. A spar right around the corner. Everything around was really very nice and it never got boring. There is plenty to explore, but also lots of small cafes and bars to stop in. Everything was easy to reach from the property and what was not possible on foot, we reached with Uber such as the sea. We would do the trip again exactly like that at any time. It was just great.

This place is absolutely incredible! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The house is beautiful, well-maintained, and beyond comfortable—the furniture makes it so easy to relax. Waking up to the sound of birds was truly magical, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The service was beyond belief—every little detail was thought of to make my stay perfect. I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a wonderful experience!

We had a very nice stay in Miquelinas house. It was quite large and they were very flexible with the check in even though we got delayed by more than two hours and didn’t arrive until 22:30. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place in that area

To begin with, the house was excellent, fantastic view, very clean house, fully equipped kitchen. The house exceeded my expectations. Margarida was fantastic, she always answered my questions, before we arrived she already had the list of places to visit and restaurants, the arrival explained everything to us at home. It was three fantastic days, we loved meeting Margarida, very friendly and very dear. I will definitely get in touch with her again when I return to Gerês.

Beautiful, massive unit with tonnes of amazing natural light and ocean views. Very comfortable bed and living areas which were perfect for relaxing after a long day. Big kitchen with everything you could need for a meal any size. Ample parking for your vehicle right outside the entrance door. While Gaia and this location in particular is not “Porto” we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were visiting. The drive from here to the porto old town and city centre can be done in under 15 minutes snd it’s very easy to come and go. This location feels so much less stressful than the busy, tough to navigate streets of Porto. Tonnes of restaurants and a grocery story within a walk or drive, great ocean walk right out front of the door.

we had a wonderful stay and immediately felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was only a short stay of two nights, you can certainly stay here longer and have a great time in the immediate vicinity of the Atlantic. Despite delays in our arrival, we were welcomed super friendly and personally still at night. Thank you very much!

This place is wonderful if you’re looking for peace, some time in a pool/the river and don’t mind being a little drive away from amenities. Daniel is an incredibly responsive host and was able to find solutions to two issues that arose for us surprisingly quickly. We cooked in the house every night except for one and had everything we needed for that. There’s a laundry room which is helpful too.
