Great house close to Christchurch Park, and a 10 minute walk downhill into town. We felt comfortable staying here and had a brilliant week in Ipswich. Thank you!

Great place and easy with a dog . The fact they had a stair gate to prevent dogs going upstairs was brilliant . There were a lot of restaurants and sights accessible on foot . We used it as a base to travel out and do long walks on beaches and estuary’s . Secure garden for dog .

A lovely little house with everything needed for a home away from home. Situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the seafront and town centre. Beautifully decorated with a cosy relaxing vibe a lovely place to stay.

Myself and my partner and Labrador had a lovely stay for a few nights at Jo's. Such a thoughtful host, all bits there needed for a dog stay and even little biscuits for him. Little touches like a bottle of wine, fresh bread, eggs etc was all so kind. Such a comfortable bed and very peaceful location with some lovely walks around.

The house is beautiful and even better than the photos. We were a party of 10 and we found we had everything we could possibly need and enough room to live comfortably. We stayed mainly around the house, cooking meals and playing games by the open fire but ventured out for country walks and to visit the alpacas, which were a highlight. Overall a fantastic weekend, we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting, with plenty of space both inside and in the expansive gardens. Justine was there to greet us and responded to any subsequent queries promptly. It was so great to be able to pick the produce from the kitchen garden and to collect the freshly laid eggs, whilst the farm shop (for other supplies) is about 20 mins walk into the village itself. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a very special birthday! Highly recommended!

This is a fabulous barn, with plenty of space and very comfortable. The decor had so much character and had such a luxurious and comfortable feel. Would definitely recommend for a wonderful peaceful getaway.

Staying second time with my friends in this beatiful house. Everything was perfect. One new find is lovely animal farm in 10 minutes by car from the house with cute wallabies!

A perfect home away from home! The caravan is in a great location and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The caravan is spacious, with a bonus of having outside decking and seating that looks out onto the sea. There are activities on the park (including an outdoor heated swimming pool which is a bonus, in addition to a shop, restaurant and clubhouse which had some good entertainment. This was all shared in my welcome email which was greatly received. The place was really clean and the added welcome gift from Shanice was a really nice gesture. I would definitely stay here again. A nice place to stay when we were in the area for a wedding. Quiet in the winter and easy to access most sites in the immediate region. Debbie's caravan was immaculately clean and bed very comfortable.

The Brambles is set in a pretty, private and peaceful location. The bungalow was spacious, comfortable (not least the bed!), and well equipped too. Alice herself was friendly, helpful and always prompt to respond to messages sent. We'd be happy to return to the Brambles again and would recommend there to anyone visiting the area looking for a place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Polly’s cottage, the kids loved the garden swing and we enjoyed the cozy fireplace and peaceful surroundings - we’d love to come back in the summer time!

Great place in a beautiful part of the country. We came down for work, really good value for money, WiFi was great, we were able to get everything done, close to local towns for meetings and the bed was really comfortable. We’ll definitely use it again next time we’re down. Thank you for having us Kirsty!

My family enjoyed our little weekend break in this accommodation. Home from home. Nice corner plot with a lovely hot tub which kiddies really enjoyed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

We had an amazing time at Simon's place and our dog loved it too! The caravan was exactly as described, clean, very comfortable and welcoming to pets. It was in a great location, and we loved being close to the beach, the only difficulty was getting our dog out of the water - he loves it so much. Simon was incredibly welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. Simon went above and beyond by providing bowls etc for the dog as well as extra pillows, blankets for us and added things in the kitchen. We appreciated the local recommendations of all the amenities that were on site and near by especially for dog walking. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mersea.

This was my first air b&b booking and it has honestly been amazing. Michelle was very helpful in accommodating our large group for my wedding and answering all my questions. It was a lovely house to stay in, we all had plenty of space to move around and not once did we feel on top of each other. If I ever found myself in Bocking or the surrounding area it is one that I would book again. I would love to explore the fields out the back and spend more time in the surrounding area. The house was in the perfect location and everything about it was great.

We spent a very happy Christmas at the house visiting relatives in the area. The house is well appointed and extremely comfortable - though you do need to be a fan of soft beds (which I am). Everything worked and was scrupulously clean. The only problem we had was that the fuse for the cooker and oven had been tripped before we arrived but there was a rapid response to our (panicky) phone call and we were able to locate the fuse board. The area only has one small shop but it's a fairly quick walk or train ride to the town. Overall very nice stay and we had lots to do around Southend including the pantomime and the Helen Mirren phone box / museum! Worth a quick look. (I think it was on the corner of Alexander Road and Cashiobury Terrace). Anyway, thank you.

Quite simply the best Air b&b we have ever stayed in. I have OCD and I am very picky about staying in clean places, but my goodness this place is spotless! It feels like your own home, it’s so comfortable. It’s modern and finished to a very high standard, with everything you can think off. I would 100% stay here again. The area is excellent for getting around Suffolk and felt safe. Communication was easy and quick. I wish all Air b&b owners got it this right. Well done Neil!

We stayed at Catherines place for a few days over October half term. Catherine communicated very well before and during our stay. The home itself had everything you need, it was clean and comfortable. You could not ask for more with somewhere to stay. We had our 11 year old son with us and our dog Jack and they were both comfortable with lots of walks and a small fishing lake. Thank you so much for a fabulous few days.
