We had a blast during our stay! Kelly is a gracious host - very responsive and helpful, and her home is filled with nice and thoughtful touches. We had a group of 12 ages ranging from 3 to 59 and everyone was very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We all left feeling refreshed and would love to stay again in the future!

Everything was perfect! If you're looking for a relaxing escape without spending a fortune, this is definitely it. Place was very clean, already came stocked with pots/pans/dishes/cutlery etc., the hot tub was very clean and well-maintained, & the location is great because its not far from town but still secluded in the mountains.

Beautiful cabin, responsive host, games on site that we loved, great fireplace, kitchen very well equipped w/ spices etc. Bathroom is sparse, two rolls of tp and no shampoo/conditioner. Roads were totally impassable so we had to cut our trip short and only stayed one of the two nights we booked. We thought 4WD would be enough, but your really need chains if there's anything on the road; the neighborhood isn't plowed or salted at all. Host did recommend both 4wd and chains.

We felt very much at home at David’s place. It was very cozy and felt like home away from home. The views were breathtaking! The area was very peaceful and quiet with gorgeous views of wildlife. Instructions were clear and super simple for both check in and check out. All the hosts were very responsive for any questions and they even checked on us after check in. We loved the fireplace and used it every day. The cabin is very close to downtown Boone which was great. We had a wonderful time and would stay again if in the area.

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We loved the home. The weather was iffy with the winter storm coming in and we had to leave a day early. But that’s not her fault!!! The cleaning could have been better; especially the tops of furniture. And the water took forever to heat up in the master bath…all in all it was a great place in a great location. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Views are beautiful in the snow!

We had an amazing time at this property and enjoyed every moment. The accommodations were excellent—everything was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The highlight for us was definitely the raindrop showerhead, which quickly became a family favorite! The kids had an absolute blast playing in the snow on the patio, and the view of the valley was absolutely stunning. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some family time. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and scenic getaway!

We would definitely stay here again. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. On a clear day we had a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Quaint shopping in Fancy Gap. Check out the wings and a beverage at Creek Bottom Brewing in Galax. Short trip to Mt Airy NC. We left feeling refreshed.
