Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ejido El Porvenir (Guadalupe)

We had a great time with our family of 4. The clean and modern design of the house is nice and very practical. We enjoyed the restaurant choices that were in walking distance as well as the restaurants that required a short drive. Also available on site is a tennis court, pickle ball and basketball. A great spot for surfing as well. We would rent this unit again.

We go to Calafia every summer. Steve’s place was for sure our favorite. The BEST location by far. Close to the pools, close to the beach, close to the car. You can beat the ocean from your bed. Steve is quick to communicate and accommodating.

Everything was very good

Really enjoyed our stay. Extremely clean, everything we needed in the kitchen. Felt very safe with helpful security guards.

This house!! We fell in love and will be making this our go to quick getaway. From north county San Diego, it will take you 1.5 hours to be in paradise. The house is exactly as described but what isn't as highlighted is the beach. The beach is stunning, with perfect waves for boogie boarding and smooth rocks. The sand bed is long and great for beginner swimmers. Dolphins are out throughout the day as well as Pelicans and birds. Security is friendly and constantly walking the property. Every possible kitchen amenity is available as well as plentiful towels, linens etc. But wait! There's more! The communication between Bob/Daphne was flawless. They responded to my multiple questions and were beyond kind and helpful. We felt like we made new friends and our next trip we will say, "just staying at Daphne/Bob and Adeline's place". This is such a special place, book your stay!

The cottage is cozy, charming, and well equipped. The setting is beautiful and it is easy to feel right at home upon arrival. The location is fantastic as well. It is within walking distance to the most popular restaurants, whether you are looking for an exquisite Michelin experience or a down to earth home-cooked meal. There are also dozens of wine tasting options within a 15 minute radius. The roads in the area are tricky to navigate, but well worth the drive. My wife and I and our pups will be back!

Beatriz she was very flexible with check-in time, her response time was great. She greeted us at the place to give us keys and showed us around the home. She made us feel right at home. Everything from pictures to what she described was exactly right. The house was super clean, had plenty of linen, and kitchen was fully equipped. You had to cross the street to walk to beach but it was a very short walk. There is no A/C in the house but the weather was so nice that the open windows was good enough. Would definitely stay at her place again!

Everything was great. But the weekend was really hot and the air conditioning was broken when I stayed. Everything else was excellent and Lola was fantastic!!

The home was easy to find and was in a safe and peaceful area. The home was the perfect size and the views of the city were beautiful! We enjoyed our stay!

Excellent location for visiting the wine region of Valle De Guadalupe. Spacious, clean, and comfortable with all needed ameneties. Jaime and Zafiro are great hosts who respond quickly. Highly recommended. We will stay again if available for our next visit.

Estela is incredibly friendly and has a beautiful place. Juan is a huge help and welcomed us quickly. I can’t wait to come back to stay here again. Absolutely fantastic!

Our stay was very pleasant, Blanca was always attentive to our messages, the house is very comfortable and beautiful, it has enough beds and bathrooms for the number of people offered, honestly the photos do not do the house justice. I was definitely staying again. * *Recommendations** * If they make food outside be careful because there are many kittens and they get up to eat. * At the time of uploading the car, the bajada is a little complicated. Other than that, everything is fine.

Zenaida’s home was perfect for our family vacation. It was spacious, clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great. It was within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and the boardwalk. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Ensenada.

Gabriela was an excellent host—always available and incredibly responsive. What our host could not control was the incredibly cold weather. This location would have been perfect for September or October. The hot water going in and out during showers was rough and it took time to warm up the cabins—again it’s December; not the host’s fault. The living room and family den was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable but it was freezing despite our host getting us two space heaters. The pool and jacuzzi were just as pictured but too cold to use. The space was incredible and comfortable for all 16 of us but the pull out couches need updating and not comfortable for 2–best closed for 1 person. Coffee, filtered water, basic condiments, toilet paper, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and tons of cups, glasses, plates and silverware. Well stocked! Would definitely go back to this beautiful, spacious hacienda but in Spring or early Fall. Thank you Gabriela!!

Bertha‘s place is gorgeous! My family and I felt very privileged to stay at such a beautiful location. We would definitely go back not only was she responsive, she is also flexible with our check-in time. There is someone close by the house that was available to help with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, cups, glasses, silverware, pots, and pans, and everything we needed. This house is truly a gem. Located in the heart of the region, you have access to wonderful wines, great dining, and the sprawling town of Ensenada, birthplace of the fish taco. Our stay was amazing, the beds are comfy, the rooms are immaculate, and Alejandro is a lovely and generous host. Highly recommend!
