Apartment holiday rentals in Efate

I needed a place with two bedrooms close to the center of Port Vila. Trinity Lodge turned out to be very good -- central but quiet. There are I think four apartments, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and look attractive. The internet was a bit weak at first but during my stay of 10 days it was replaced by a much better connection. Very clean, the laundry was done for free. I will come again.

This Lodge is in a very convenient location. Walking distance to the supermarket, main market, town and the seafront. The apartment had everything we needed to give us a home like stay. Large kitchen, great internet and regular laundry service. There was a place to park our hire car. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. My daughter enjoyed running around a playing in the garden. I definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Our stay at Frank and Dee’s was wonderful. Both Frank and Dee were more than happy to help us out with anything from picking us up from the jetty, to taking us to the supermarket, patching me up with betadine and bandaids after a coral cut and loaning us an umbrella for a walk in the rain. Nothing was too much for them. The place was lovely, and the pool was just what we needed on the hot and humid days. The house is close enough to the main part of Port Vila to walk if you really want, or hail a bus and jump in for a short trip over. The view from Frank and Dee’s balcony was incredible as well. If you find yourself with an opportunity to join them up there for a drink, don’t hesitate! Thanks for having us!!

Everything positive that others have written about Carmen and her place is true. When you arrive in a new country, the best thing is to be greeted at the airport by a friendly face and taken to accommodation that has all of your needs catered for, right down to there being breakfast supplies… and that what we got from this Airbnb. We only stayed one night, so I can’t really comment on the location - although the taco restaurant up the road had some nice food. Thank you Carmen and Roger

The unit is upstairs and directly behind the Beach Bar on Mele Bay. Food at the Beach Bar was great especially the wood fired pizzas. A major highlight is the weekly Fire Show on a Friday night. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Tom was a great host who arranged our airport transfers as well.

We enjoyed 3 nights at Christina and Branan's place. It was clean and comfortable, with lovely cool bedrooms (great in warm weather). Christina was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive, quickly sorting out an issue with hot water. Great value spot to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Malowia Guest House. The accommodation is basic, but very adequate. We had a car so were able to tour this side of Efate. Janet arranged a boat transfer to Pele Island for us one day. We had a private beach and snorkelling to ourselves. It was wonderful. We also went to Top Rock and had a great snorkel there. Janet is very knowledgeable about the area. It was a pleasure having visits each day with her. The breakfast fruit plate Janet provided was delicious and much appreciated. Brownie the dog was friendly and nice to have come for visits. All in all it was a great 3 days.

Excellent stay. Quiet place, clean and frendly hosts. All you need is around you: buses, supermarkets, etc. I recommend this location
