Beachfront holiday rental in Eastern Oregon

This place is great and we would stay again. The only thing I would say is the communication is strange and disjointed. I think they use a service of some sort as I got a lot of duplicate messages and people responding at different times to messages or text that had been previously dealt with by someone else.

We are beyond grateful to Jesse and Kristin for hosting us for our (all too brief!) high desert getaway. We hope to come again soon and absolutely loved our conversations with Jesse— we learned so much about this beautiful part of the world that they call home. Having spent most of my life West of the Cascades, this was a mind-bending and deeply rejuvenating experience. We found unparalleled peace in the off-season, soaked our weary bones in the nearby hot springs, tasted some of the best food the area has to offer, caught the most stunning sunrise, and found it hard to distinguish where the mountains end and clouds began. It is a magical place that felt like we’d visited a different country within our own state. Jesse and Kristin setup their trailer so nicely for us and welcomed us with such kindness. We would fully recommend staying with them and look forward to their planned expansion. Thank you for everything!

We have stayed with Dave and Linda several times now and their Airbnbs at Rivendell are hands down our favorite stays. Very friendly and responsive hosts that make us feel right at home each time! The bacon, farm fresh eggs (from free range chickens on the property) and english muffins are a great touch and make breakfast easy and convenient. We absolutely love it and will definitely be back!

Very quiet and peaceful.River is right there with the sound of rushing water. Great place to finish a day of hiking,biking,or kayaking. Would stay there again.

Cozy little cabin right on the rivers edge. Remarkably clean and well kept. Perfect place for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Highly recommended. Try out the restaurant while there. Food and service was outstanding.

The view was amazing and made it feel like we were on vacation. Location was perfect; we were able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive and friendly. They answered all our calls and accommodated our last minute requests, which we so appreciated! Would definitely stay here again!

You’re not going to find a better view! Very comfy beds and everything you need for a nice family getaway. This is a Tamarack Bay original and it’s fabulous.

We had an amazing time staying at the condo after Christmas. The view was so peaceful. We played games around the fireplace, and slept so well in the comfortable beds. I hope we can come back in the summer!

Very nice condo for 2-4 people, great location, beautiful surroundings, provided with everything needed, easy access and communication.

Cabin and surroundings were beautiful and in a peaceful neighborhood. Backyard goes straight out to the lake and has a fire pit and seating to enjoy the outdoors. Only 30 min away from McCall. We had a great time spending time all together at this cabin and would love to come again in the future.

My family enjoyed this getaway. Great sitting areas for being together and some privacy apart. Note that for heat transfer there is a grated hole between the master and “kids“ room upstairs, so parents need to be “super quiet” :)

Our group of 11 had such an enjoyable time at the property - we can’t wait to come back! Kelly was fantastic at communicating, always quick to respond and very helpful. The house was well-stocked, especially in the kitchen, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was convenient, quiet yet close to skiing and snowboarding, making it ideal for winter sports activities. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The living room was a highlight with its nice, open common area where we all could gather comfortably. The overall ambiance of the house added to our comfort. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to Kelly's clear instructions. The value for what we got was excellent, and we definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a group getaway. Lastly, my wife left her jewelry in one of the rooms and Kelly proactively informed us (we didn’t realize they were missing yet) and took time out of her day to deliver them to us. Couldn’t ask for more.

As described! Beautiful and private spot. Words of advice would be to bring and use lots of bug spray- since you are on the lake and very remote it gets buggy when the sun goes down. Also may be best enjoyed WITHOUT dogs or small children. Amanda is not exaggerating when she says beware of rattlesnakes, there is a decent snake population living in this region. But for adults who come prepared with boots and/ or stay close to camp it is not very risky. Would recommend for an adult camping group looking for privacy and peace!

Had a great time! The private dock and sandy beach were great for the kids and the neighbors were very friendly. The house had everything we needed for a family of 10, we will definitely be staying here again!
