Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Lofoten Fishermans cabin w amazing location & view

Welcome to our wonderful and favorite place far north at the tip of the Lofoten Islands. We are 2 brothers, Rune and Egil, who own this place together and have family and roots in this beautiful area in Sørvågen. We recently renovated this nice and cosy spacious fishermans cabin. It's part of a semi-detached cabin standing literally halfway into the sea. The cabin has exquisite view, exceptionally located by the sea and is surrounded by steep green mountains and beautiful Norwegian nature.

New cabin with midnight sun located right on the shore of South Senja. Great location to see the northern lights out over the sea in the direction of Andøya. New nearby Wildlife Shop, several hiking trails, Kvitemuseum, National Park, inland and sea fishing, boat rental nearby. 2 hours by car from Bardufoss airport. 1 hour drive to Finnsnes. 1 hour by fast boat to Harstad. 3 mattresses up on the shelf in addition to the two bedrooms.
