Holiday rentals with a patio in East Wittering Beach

We had a wonderful stay at driftwood: a great location adjacent to the beach; within walking distance to a wonderful pub (the Lifeboat Inn) and right next to a bus stop with a regular service to Chichester. We spent a couple of days cycling around Selsey, exploring the surrounding area and the location was perfect for our needs, providing a comfortable, secure and tranquil retreat for us at the end of the day. Nick was a great host, who was attentive when we needed it, and left us some basic provisions to get us started, which was very much appreciated. We will come again!!

what an amazing apartment. Clean, tidy and all the top end mod cons... couldn't fault this place 1 bit... the welcome gifts as well added an extra special touch...I just hope this is available for my next visit!! I feel very spoilt

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb! The house was exactly as described, with all the essentials provided, making it a perfect place to stay for the whole week. The location was excellent, with all the main shops within walking distance and easy access to key tourist spots in Portsmouth. Monika was very responsive to messages and quickly arranged visitor parking permits for us.

Sue's place was available after our previous booking fell through the day before (see separate review on another popular accommodation provider!) Sue's response was in complete contrast to our previously poor experience - she was responsive, friendly, kind and compassionate. Only two things to mention - she forgot to send the exact address so we drove up and down West Lane several times before we found the accommodation The lock needs attention as it needed a particular technique to get it out

Stayed again for a week,host was fantastic and the place was spotless,shops not far at all (co-op)

My stay was wonderful the place was cozy and very inviting. The host was very communicative and very friendly I will try to book the same place on my next visit 10/10 recommend

We had a lovely stay, a fabulous flat with fantastic views and the sun shone for us too.

The flat was perfect for what we wanted. Big rooms, comfortable, fully equipped kitchen. A good price for its size and location. Parking also wasn’t an issue as long as you don’t mind being right outside.

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and feels like you’re right at home. Withing walking distance to the beach. Host was very accommodating when we forgot my daughter’s blanket and didn’t think twice about helping us get it back. Amazing stay and great host. Will definitely be back 👍🏽

A lovely little house which was perfect for our stay. Although its on a housing estate, its not overlooked at the back and has a very nice view over the garden at the back and was very peaceful and pleasant. The decor was very nice and we felt at home immediately, the king size bed was extremely comfortable and unusually I slept soundly from the first night. We found a fantastic place to eat just a few minutes drive away at Worlds End and the house itself was ideally placed to visit family in nearby Portsmouth. I would definitely recommend this place

A cute little house straight onto the beach. Had everything we needed for our two night stay including kids toys, books, plates, cups etc. The boys loved the bunk bed. Carl was a great host and kept us updated with information needed for our stay. Even though it was wet and windy outside, we were cosy inside and already spoken about coming back in the spring/summer. Thanks Carl.

What a lovely house! So beautifully kept and exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend away. Andrew was fantastic. Recommend The Wittering for Sunday lunch. Short walk to the beach and local shop. Particularly loved how comfortable the beds were and large the space was. Perfect for 6 adults and 2 dogs

Nice and clean home location perfect

The apartment is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, well heated and very cosy. Clive and his wife are excellent hosts and they provide a very friendly and professional welcome (updated printed instructions clarifying use of all amenities, extras like a small bottle of milk, personal meet and great etc!). The location in a very quiet rural street with good walking into Arundel or Happy Valley directly accessible, makes for a very pleasant “get away from it all” stay. Highly recommended.

SUPERB! From start to finish our break was truly wonderful. Rob as a host was proactive and very supportive at all times, couldn’t ask for better, we can say one of the best! The apartment was well positioned, extremely clean and generously equipped. (everything worked!😃) Also, there was a welcome hamper with some treats and a bottle of wine, lovely touch!😃 For the four days we were there, we were warm and comfortable, it soon felt like home. We loved walking our dog to the beach every day, which is only a stone’s throw away. We fully recommend ‘Goldeneye’ and all it has to offer, we will definitely return. Thank you so much Rob! ☺️

We loved our stay here. It is a great apartment in a fantastic location. The beds were comfy and Dan was really communicative and helpful. It was a bonus to have parking too - we didn’t use the car at all during our stay as it’s such a short walk to all the attractions. We’d definitely stay here again.

We had a great weekend stay at Roman's Retreat. The flat is in a private road with a partial sea view. It is well located on the south coast of Hayling Island. We had great weather so were able to walk along the sea front with ease. On our first night we ate out in one of the local pubs, there were two very close by with other dining options. In the morning we nipped out to the convenience store (around the corner) and grabbed a coffee from one of the many coffee shops. The place has two spacious bedrooms and a large living room with two sofas. Everything you need for a couple or family of four. The bathroom and kitchen appear to be newly refurbished and therefore spotlessly clean. It's a first floor flat which benefits from a small balcony which I sat out on taking in the late September afternoon sun. We parked right outside in the private road which felt safe and secure. It's a great place for a visit to Hayling Island. Louise was a great host, very responsive. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time with the beach in easy strolling distance and an electric charging point for the car nearby it was a great break. Great Bistro Pub just around the corner.

Lovely little place, so clean! Coffee machine was very welcome ❤️ Log burner was easy to use and very atmospheric that really enhanced the romance. Perfect location to explore Emsworth, lots of nice pubs, good restaurants and picturesque scenery.

Fantastic property, really clean & comfortable, all amenities were there & it felt like home. The beds were super comfy. Good pub/restaurant directly opposite the property. 5 minutes from Arundel, 15 minutes from the aviation museum, 25 minutes from weald & downs open air museum so lots to do locally. We would definitely choose to stay there again.
