Holiday rentals with a fireplace in East Tyrol

Our stay was fantastic! The chalet was really nice and exactly as described. And the view from the balcony is one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Super convenient for the Großglockner high alpine road and a trip into the north of Italy. Hosts were very polite, chatty and friendly, especially when we bumped into them in a nearby restaurant. Thanks so much for hosting us, we will definitely be back! Cheers.

This is not just an Abnb, this is an experience… an amazing experience!!! The view of the mountains is just breathtaking. Highly recommended if you want privacy and relax in an unconventional structure.

We felt incredibly comfortable and had a great time at the Waldfrieden vacation home. Communication was great and we were warmly welcomed by Bernadette. Since the shops were already closed, she even helped us out with some groceries. We were completely happy and satisfied and would be happy to come back next year ☺️☺️

The property is recommended, great view, quiet location, the host is always on site.

The cottage is located in a mountain above the village of Virgin, the fictional view is equipped with everything missing from the objects of a kitchen or even a bathroom. I was afraid of the place because it is insulated for you, the owner of the cottage dwells side by side is his wife and theirs until the grandfather is present. The place is sweet if you love to walk and the mountain rises views from the imagination. The city of Linz is a half an hour and a half away.

Ulrike was quick to respond to messages, and helpful. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, and you can sit outside with a super nice view over the valley. With 2 heat burners in the kitchen it is a bit of a challenge, but the small oven is very helpful. Furthermore, all amenities are available, including a washing machine which is super convenient with a family. Spacious towels are available, and beds are already nicely made before check-in. Inside, it's more spacious than the pictures make it look. Hand soap,herbs, etc. are also available

I don’t know where to start on how amazing the place was? On how great the location is? On how absolutely gorgeous the views were of the valley from the house? I am from Tampa Florida USA, let me tell you something, I’ve traveled the world and this Airbnb by far is the best place I’ve ever stayed in. It was absolutely gorgeous. Having breakfast outside on the porch was absolutely beautiful, fresh air, beautiful scenery and absolutely amazing weather. The house reflects a true image of the true Austrian countryside. Very large house with stunning mountain views! Entering the house was very easy. Also, communication with Jeremias and Leonie went very smoothly - they explained everything well in advance and responded quickly to our questions. A nice place to stay in a beautiful setting!

It was a great vacation for us city plants. The Asslaber family was always helpful and caring, the apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail and everything corresponded to the description. The location is excellent for hikes and excursions to the neighboring valleys. Thank you so much!

Very well located apartment in the locality of Matrei, the latter is very comfortable, clean and perfectly arranged in a brand new residence. Highlights: All amenities are present and operational (Laundry, dishwasher, Tv/Internet, Oven, MicroOnde, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms etc...) all based on quality and new products during our stay. The residence has covered parking and a very pleasant new swimming pool after a day of hiking. The residence manager was perfectly available to welcome us and answer our questions whether about the accommodation, the residence or Matrei. In short, family stay (2 adults and 2 children) perfect in this apartment; ideal base for the different summer activities we conducted around Matrei In Ostirol (hiking and rafting).

The stay was wonderful. The house impeccable and very beautiful. a dream balcony with a panoramic view of the mountains. Quiet with comfort , and all around beautiful steps to do in one of the most beautiful corners of Tyrol. Thank you Berthold for your hospitality and kindness. This stay was a real joy!

The apartment has everything you need. Shop in walkable distance. Great base camp for trips into the mountain trails.

because of a new street building, the property could only be reached on an actually easily passable gravel road, but you can also see that as an adventure. The guesthouse is located quite idyllically on a slope on the other side of the state road B111, you always have to drive over the valley, which is part of life there. For this, you can arrive at a well tidy, in the originally preserved mountain farm and is received with care. This guest house is a hidden gem.
