Hotel holiday rentals in East Lombok Regency

Mata Lodge is a unique place, where the hosts Hannah and Yuda will make you feel warm and at home. The room is beautiful and the surroundings are stunning and surreal. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an authentic experience beyond compare. The place is remote, in between the ricefields, and ideal if you want to experience Lombok at its best!

The room was spotless, peaceful and the view was absolutely stunning. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer, but unfortunately, I had to move on to Senggigi the next day. Its a bit far from nearest shop or the main road but still I'll definitely return when I visit Lombok again😊

Jihan and her family were very welcoming since the beginning, they helped us a lot in deciding what to see around the area and let us know many “local” alternatives to the most touristic spots ( which are still a must). The place is wonderful, huge garden with fruit trees all surrounded by tropical rain forest and the sea is also on the view. As a plus, they have a natural swimming pool that can be used. PS the breakfast is incredible, hope will not change for future guests;)

For travelers looking for luxury and relaxation, this place is the wrong place. However, if you want to have adventure, hospitality and authentic insight into life on Lombok, this is the place to be. Woody (& Lan) and his family are super helpful, warm-hearted, and involve you in family life. In addition, Woody plans individual tours, depending on the interest that make the stay an exceptional experience! Clear recommendation for all adventurers and those interested in culture!

Had a good time, good service. Cottage was nice and clean and really all good for each other.

The place looks like the pictures, but unfortunately there were the cute bikes that are on the picture, but they were yellow. The location of the accommodation is great, you can also reach all the cool restaurants quickly on foot. However, it was a little hard to find in the beginning. Unfortunately, it is a little close to a mosque, so you can hear the prayers quite loudly. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Communication with Regula was also great. Unfortunately, breakfast took quite a long time, but otherwise everything was very great and we even had the whole space to ourselves.

We had a really amazing stay at Poetri Bungalows, Ita was so helpful she went above and beyond to make us comfortable and to help us with our activities. We stayed here as we were climbing Mount Rinjani, she called the tour company for us to make sure everything was good (you can actually book tours through her too, but we had already booked ours online) she recommended local places, she stored our bags while we climbed the mountain and organised a driver to take us to our next accommodation. The place itself was so beautiful, the view from the bed was just forest which we loved, the room wasn’t huge but plenty of space for us both. The breakfast was included and was a delicious omelette with fresh avocado, and a plate of lovely fresh fruit. We also ate dinner here one night (soto ayam) which was amazing too. 10/10 would love to stay here again.

lovely homestay with Kartini’s family and the food was amazing. the traditional sasuk houses were well designed and had all the amenities needed although it gets slightly hotter during the day. The little balcony up top was a great addition for viewing the crown of Rinjani. the garden out front was beautiful as well. really enjoyed my time there, Kartini and her family were lovely kind folks ☺︎
