Farmstay holiday rentals in East Frisia

We rented the house Bauer Jakobs for 3 days. In nature with a garden stays for us was a nice experience.. The house is very spacious and cozy with many amenities especially in the kitchen. Set in a very quiet setting. We can recommend the place for those looking for peace and quiet. The communication with Barbara was great and very quick to reach. We will be happy to come back.

Lydia is a wonderful host. Easy to talk with and very flexible. Lovely tiny house outside, perfect to be alone and focus on ourselves. Even if the bathroom is in the house in front of the garden, it's very cosy and clean. I can't imagine during summertime, it seems perfect.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

Elke is a friendly and cozy hostess where enjoying life is on 1. This is how she approaches her guests, she is happy to make you feel at home. The surroundings are quiet and yet there is plenty to see and do nearby. We were impressed by Dornum above all. You don't see much of this place online, but as far as we are concerned, it is a must-see if you stay in the region.

The stay with Anke was very pleasant, she even visited us briefly, everything was tip top fine and the kitchen was fully equipped with toaster, kettle and coffee machine, so everything was available. The bathroom was sparkling clean and also the beds were lovely. In short, highly recommended - we had a nice stay. The house is really a little gem surrounded by nature. We immediately felt comfortable and at home. In the house there is everything you need for a few relaxing days, it is lovingly decorated and you can tell in the details how much love is in it. Nevertheless, nothing is too much and you have enough room to unfold yourself. Contact with Anja was straightforward and very nice. We would come back anytime.

We had wonderful days at Sandra's place, the evenings in front of the fireplace were very comfortable. Sandra's tip for a sunset directly on the sea, gave us a very nice evening.

The rose barrel is so clean,quaint and cozy. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. An en-suite bathroom!!!. Just right for peace seekers and nature lovers: Reinhard and Jutta's tiny house In an idyll surrounded by tall trees, Reinhard and Jutta have lovingly furnished their tiny house and offer their guests a true oasis of relaxation. As you can see in the photos, the house has a large veranda overlooking the garden. In the morning you can pamper yourself with Fairtrade coffee roasted by the hosts, before making your way to the nearby Barkeler Busch with the many lakes. There you can take long walks through the untouched nature. If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of the big city behind and enjoy the course of nature instead, this tiny house is just right. Hosts Reinhard and Jutta also sweeten the stay with a huge range of organic food and other Fairtrade products.

We felt very comfortable in Tim's house and had a very nice and quiet time. The house was well equipped and we didn't lack anything. I can really recommend it if you really want to switch off, because it's really quiet there. Tim always responded very quickly to questions from us and we tried his restaurant recommendation right away on New Year's Eve. All in all we had a very nice stay.

Accommodation with apple trees; it was very nice here. We stayed here for a week with a small child and enjoyed it. The accommodation is as described, practically furnished and sufficient for us. The beautiful view and friendly hosts rounded it off well. Glad to come back!

The place was very clean and was 100% as shown in the pictures. The property around the apartment is very well maintained and immediately invites you to feel good. Upon arrival, we were very kindly received by Patricia, who showed us our apartment as well as the facility and gave us valuable tips for staying in the area. We (three adults) had a wonderful, relaxing time with Christin and Willi. The house is a dream, everything is available from A like view to Z like toothbrush mugs. We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean which was particularly important to us. Heating and hot water have worked great, especially in winter.(so also worth a visit in winter) We were very impressed by the child-friendly atmosphere – our little ones immediately felt comfortable, and there were even loving details designed specifically for families. The house is extremely cozy, so you feel right at home. The hosts were warm and attentive. A place we will definitely return to! Thank you for this great experience!

Very nice place with cute animals. There is not very much to do in de close surrounding, but is you plan on staying a lot in the house and garden (with children) it’s a perfect place.

Our stay with Annemarie was nothing short of amazing. We had the best time at this converted barn . Big enough for 2 people on dead end road with views of the landscape and her horses. Annemarie is a warm and very kind host and she makes sure everything is to your satisfaction. We will often think back about our stay with her and certainly will return. Grietus & Kaylynne

Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

We had a wonderful time with our two boys in the charming, authentic Waddenhuisje (indeed less suitable for average taller people). We were warmly welcomed by Ellen and everything you expect was in the house and in the kitchen. We were happily surprised with the separate spacious kitchen, so you sometimes didn't sit together in a room together (different than at home with the open kitchen). By car, it is very easy (no chicken on the road) to explore the area: from Groningen, Winsum, Noordpokderzijl, to Warffum and Schiermonnikoog. and probably much more!

We had our first friends baby vacation and were in the house with 6 adults, one toddler and two babies and loved it. The property is very spacious and offers plenty of space for everyone, especially due to the open kitchen. The garden is perfect for nice barbecues or just to relax. The house is quietly located and had great amenities. 10 minutes away by car is a beautiful lake (Blue Sea) for relaxing or swimming. Otherwise, the area offers a lot with various national parks, an alpaca farm (Alpaca's Enzo) or a great zoo (Wildlands) in Emmen. We felt very comfortable and also the hosts were always available if we had questions or asked recommendations. We would love to come back again!

The communication with Timo is characterized by kindness and courtesy. The apartment is simply very nice and well restored or created. In the living/dining room you have a breathtaking view over the fields.

Great place, great for relaxing. Very nicely furnished and kept tidy. Plenty of space and great value for money.
