Holiday houses in Earnewâld

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

I really enjoyed 3 days in Balk with the very friendly Judith and Jeroen. Beautiful homestay, super clean and tidy. Beautiful area within walking distance of Slotermeer. Beautiful garden with various seating areas where you can relax and read breakfast. The surroundings are also beautiful, in my opinion the most beautiful part of Friesland. I would 100% recommend this homestay and I will definitely return here. Thank you very much for everything!

The stay was great. Everything was clean. It was a very quiet and beautiful environment. We would return again and again.

We had a lovely weekend. It is a nice cottage, but especially the area is beautiful. We made a nice canoe trip and enjoyed the beautiful Giethoorn despite the bad weather. The reception and further contact were very friendly. Great! Small downsides: you have to lug a bit with your luggage (but that's why you come to a very nice, secluded spot) and we occasionally woke up to the rising central heating boiler in the room next to the bedroom.

Great place. Close to nature. Well equipped. We were on a work trip and found the quietness great for after a stressful day.

The stay is worth the price. However, it is worth having your own basic equipment of kitchen ingredients with you, if you want to cook as wonderfully with the wonderful view from the kitchen to the sea;-). (You will have to buy everything - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) But the jumbo in the village is a great shop (7 min. in the car) and the essentials would also be available in the campsite shop. 4 minutes by car/10-15 min. by foot) However, the towels for the bathroom are offered and included. You don't need to bring anything. Look forward to unforgettable days at sea!

We enjoyed it very much. It's a beautiful, decent mobile home. Nice with the air conditioning. Plenty of space all around in the garden and the shed. Friendly neighbors, child-friendly campsite with playground and swimming pool.

The place is in a very nice location. The small village is very close to the water and is also very idyllic. In particular, the view of the old church was very nice. However, this is also a small disadvantage, as you are woken up in the morning by the church next door. The contact with Hester was very nice and straightforward. We felt immediately comfortable and also gladly accepted the tips for the places in the area. In addition, it was great that you could rent bicycles directly from the hostess.

We loved our stay at Geradine and Hans' green paradise! From the lovely welcome to our last swim in the adjusted Lettelbertdijk, we had a great time, enjoying our luxury tent, the hens, the fresh vegetables!
