Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Dunsmuir

We came up to ski at Shasta Ski Park and enjoy Shasta and Dunsmuir and this place was in a perfect location - minutes to everywhere we wanted to go - and perfectly appointed for cozy nights in after adventuring during the day. The forest surroundings are beautiful, the hot tub was awesome, and the place had everything we needed. Comfy beds too! Highly recommend.

The house is beautiful and was very perfect for my family. It rained quite a bit while we were there and sitting in the living room playing games with a fire going with that amazing view of the river was perfect! The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and lovely to use and Jonathan was quick to respond with any questions!

Really love the house. It was a perfect place for a ski weekend. Mccloud is such a great little town and this house is perfect to stay there. My wife arrived before I did and she wasn't completely sure which house it was because it was dark and there are no street lights, but she figured it out.

Claudia’s home nestled in the woods on a quiet private road was the perfect retreat to spend time with friends and family. It’s close to downtown Mount Shasta and provided the perfect base camp for a couple days of skiing. It has all of the amenities of home. Five stars!

We loved our stay at butterfly cottage in Dunsmuir. There were so many warm touches and the house felt like a home away from home with high end furniture, bedding, bath products, and kitchen ammenities with an open floorplan. Everything was so comfortable and we loved the design aesthetic. All the thoughtful touches and decor was lovely. There is noise from the train, which we liked, you can always use earplugs . The backyard was really great for warmer weather and the river is a short walk and restaurants also. Of note, the two bedrooms are separated by a thin door so, not a lot of noise privacy when in the bedrooms.

We enjoyed our stay in Mt Shasta. The home was accommodating for a toddler and newborn and dog! Appreciated the reasonable price.

House is great. Love the layout of the home, it is big enough for privacy and being together as a group. This was our second time here and we will be back.

Even though we only stayed one night, we absolutely adored this property. It was so cozy and comfortable. Reminded me of a family member’s home you would travel to as a kid and stay in. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay in Mt. Shasta. A lot of space for 2bd 1bath and super convenient location. My son especially enjoyed the spa like shower that had a fold down bench.

A nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Conveniently located, almost 15 mins to Mt Shasta City. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodated our odd hours checkin and checkout. Very knowledgeable about the area as well.

Had a great staying in Dunsmuir. Rented this place for a weekend snowboard and it was perfect. The house was clean, the jacuzzi was hot, and we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to grill some steaks on the grill in the backyard. Would highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a cozy stay with all of the amenities. Thank you guys for having us.

This place is a gem! John and Sandy are so kind and have created a perfect getaway space to enjoy Mount Shasta. Clean, cozy, private and close to everything. The balcony has a beautiful view of the mountain, bird watching and wildlife. The place has all amenities for a great stay. I would recommend this space over and over.

Thyra was a wonderful host, absolutely would book the birds nest again! Everything was clean, she spoiled us with snacks and drinks, and went out of her way to give local events and recommendations which was awesome and super sweet to do. Thank you again Thyra we both enjoyed our stay!:)
