This is the cutest cottage in Pittenweem. The cottage is extremely cosy and welcoming. Although having been recently updated with a new bathroom and kitchen along with a remodeled living room the original integrity is maintained. The home provides everything you will need to enjoy your stay (including tea, coffee, salt & pepper, cooking oil, tinfoil etc.). While being a quiet location a short walk of a couple of minutes will see you at the local baker, post office and the harbour.

We had a lovely stay at Cornelius's place. The location was great, cottage was comfy and warm (we loved the wood stove, kept the whole place warm). Perfect last minute find for a one night stay. Was bless with sun and clear sky for star gazing on the patio. Cottage is a few minutes walk to the loch edge, that I took full advantage of with a morning dip (albeit I had planned for a swim….) It was perfectly stocked, even with a small bottle of milk and cake (and robes and blanket)! Forever grateful for the memories made! Already planning for a winter return!

We are no strangers to the seaboard of the East neuch, but Kilconquhar was unexplored. What a lovely place and what a lovely cottage in a super quiet location. Elie and the sea is just a few miles away. The house is well equipped and roomy enough to accommodate a larger group. No accommodation downsides other than a little on the pricey side for us given no sea view. Also, prices for meals and coffees within the area have soared in the last 12 months. However, as they say you make your choices and we weren't disappointed with the experience in the cottage.

absolutely amazing cottage everything was superb. The beds were so comfortable and fresh, we just loved it so much. Sharon was really friendly and very responsive to all messages. location perfect as we were at a wedding just down the road so very easy to get to. Also really good for walking with our little doggies. we will definitely be visiting Sharon's cottage again. 💜☺

We couldn't be happier with our stay at this cottage. It was a cozy, comfortable and peaceful place to come back to after our days walking and exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped and so many thoughtful details were everywhere (loved the hot water bottles and the chess set!) Everything was clean and Elaine's communication was prompt, friendly and helpful. If we are ever back in this part of the world, we would definitely stay here again!

Pam and Alyssa were very helpful and flexible - and left us some goodies including fresh eggs of varied size and colour. The cottage is pretty and very well kitted out - very clean and comfortable. The location is really special - on the side of the glen, unbelievably quiet. Just pheasants, kites, buzzards, rabbits, sheep, deer and a stoat. We had sunny blue skies and went walking from the cottage every day. Hills, fields and forests everywhere you look. We both felt that 3 weeks there would have been good for us. Thanks again to Pam and Alyssa for being excellent hosts. I hope that we'll be able to return soon.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! The cottage was so cozy and beautifully decorated, the surrounding area was stunning and it was so quiet and peaceful. There was fresh bread, eggs and milk for us when we arrived, which so kind and thoughtful. The cottage, especially the yard and swing-set were a big hit with our kids—lots of core memories were made! Jane was also very helpful and responsive and very kind. She truly went above and beyond. We loved our stay here and hope to be able to come back again soon!

Ellen had great communication and made sure that everything was in place for our trip as we were catering a Christmas dinner cooked by chef. The ample furniture was such a bonus and it was very comfortable. The location is stunning so much so that whilst on my stay there I decided to put in an offer on a property around the corner to live out my retirement there!!!!! Such an incredible location! Arrived at night so waking up the following morning to the surrounding was fantastic. Kids had the best time playing the snow and we explored the walking tracks literally outside the cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable. Such a great escape where we were able to reset and reconnect as a family. We’ll definitely be back in warmer months to experience the bike tracks nearby.

We had a lovely few nights in Ashley and Neil's place. The cottage was more than enough for two people and a small dog, on a peaceful stretch of street opposite a park with lots of mature trees. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and I really appreciated how quickly they replied to messages. The house was clean and tidy, and had all that we needed for our stay. My only disappointment was that we couldn't use the fireplace (listing a 'fireguard' as an amenity alongside the pictures suggested to me that it was an option), but that said, the house was comfy and warm, so we still enjoyed a few cosy quiet evenings. Our Carnoustie days were spent visiting nearby cafe Gather for lunch (v happy to see vegan options), a walk along the breezy beach and some beers in the Station Hotel bar – then spending the evening at the cottage. Thanks for having us. :)

Rachel’s Farm ‘The Cottage’ was exactly as advertised. Perfect for the wife and I to have a last minute romantic weekend away. Booking was so easy, the property was very homely and welcoming and we immediately felt the worries of the world disappearing as we relaxed into the hot-tub listening to the wildlife. Also after a day of exploring the area to be able to slip into that awesome rolltop bath. I’m one of the larger built gentleman, and to have a bath that I can lay in and fit was sublime. You almost had to charge me for the cost of that bath as I was tempted to bring it home with me. 👍and then to climb into that bed. I haven’t slept that well for months..! Honestly, if you are considering staying here, I would 100% recommend it. You will not be disappointed.
