Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Dunham

The farmhouse is a fantastic place with cool theme and great amenities. Woodwork is amazing! We enjoyed the gas stove and lots of warm brackets after a cold day skiing. Location was close to Jay Peak as well as great restaurants. Gary and Joanna are great hosts and it’s clear they have put a lot of thought and care into their home. We would absolutely rent again for a future trip!

Chris was a great host and his home really felt like a ski house...very comfortable and spacious and very short drive to the slopes. We loved the selection of movies and games and the nice touches that made it feel more like a home than a rental property. Chris left very clear instructions and was very responsive to all communication. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Quaint farmhouse in the middle of the mountains, gorgeous fall foliage, nice surrounding town. We visited the Vermont Apple Orchards about 25 minutes away and that was fun! We also walked up along the road/trail and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery. One take-away from the experience is the significant amount of lady bugs/insects we encountered not only directly outside of the house, but inside the house. They were everywhere: particularly, along the walls, on the ceiling, in the shower, flying over our heads as we sat on the couch or bed. Was a bummer that we had to take 30 minutes out of each day to sweep away the insects/lady bugs in order to enjoy our peace and quiet. We asked the host about this and his property manager answered that it is what it is in this case, though I recommend perhaps working on the infrastructure of the home to better mitigate this issue.

We especially loved the sauna, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding nature. The peaceful atmosphere of the property truly made us feel like we were in our own private sanctuary. Whether you’re looking to relax by the lake, enjoy the nearby hiking trails, or simply disconnect from the world, this spot has it all. Our host was also incredibly accommodating and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. We can't recommend this place enough and look forward to returning in the future!

The ski in ski out is amazing, very easy to access the Tram Side Base and get the day going. Jay peak is beautiful and the location is great. Steven was always very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent two comfortable nights at the “Small Town Oasis” while visiting our child who attends a local university. Honestly, it felt like we were at a family member’s house. The home had everything we needed to relax, make a family dinner and more. It was warm and inviting, and had all the conveniences we were hoping for, including local shops and restaurants. When I had questions, my messages to Andrew were quickly answered. Thank you for a great getaway - and the snow was a wonderful ending to our experience. We look forward to booking again.

We rent from Claire quite often. It's always the first place we look at to see if the apartment is available when we go to Sherbrooke. It's always very clean, cozy, quiet and well kept. We had an amazing stay at Danny and Katie’s place! From the very beginning, they were incredibly friendly and responsive, making sure I had all the details I needed for my trip. They went above and beyond with recommendations for local skiing spots and great places to eat, which really made the trip special. The location is absolutely perfect for hitting up Jay Peak – just a stone’s throw away! Plus, it’s incredibly close to some of the best backcountry riding in New England, which was a major highlight. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located spot with hosts who truly care about making your experience memorable!

David was quick to respond and provided all the information needed prior to our arrival. The place was exactly what we expected from the listing’s information and pictures. Easy ski in/ski out was exactly what we wanted and what we got. The place has a great view for over looking the main areas of the ski resort. Would recommend to anyone looking for a convenient ski vacation.

What a beautiful spot. We had a perfect trip. There was a small issue with the internet before we got there. Marie Josee communicated everything to us and made sure it was all taken care of. She went out of her way to get the internet fixed on a Saturday. The house is so quiet and private at the end of the road. Felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Our whole group was very impressed. Nice finishes, well appointed rooms, fully stocked kitchen. Can't say enough good things about it.

This was a prefect place for a weekend getaway with families. We were there with 3 families in wintertime and had the plan to really just be relaxing at the house. So, while I said the surroundings weren’t particularly I treating, we didn’t expect them to be, and it looked there were lovely berry picking farms and orchards in other seasons. The communication was very easy, the house was very clean and well-equipped. The kids and adults love the pool, the movie screen, the sauna and the game room! Thanks for everything!

This property is a fantastic retreat for families to come together. The rooms are beautifully furnished to reflect the style and era of the house, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We stayed here over New Year’s, and it was the perfect getaway to reconnect and spend quality time together. Despite the chilly weather, the house remained cozy and comfortable throughout our stay. We did notice a few small maintenance items that probably need repair, but they didn’t impact our stay.. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with the grounds offering lovely, scenic walks. The hot tub and game room added the perfect finishing touches to a wonderful experience. The hosts were responsive and helpful, addressing questions we had via chat. We would stay here again—it was a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely stay in a contemporary and very well-equipped high-end property. Our family group of 13 (4 families) has been adequately accommodated in large, comfortable and well-lit rooms. We would happily return to this property. I would recommend the place and the hostess warmly.
