Beachfront holiday rental in Dundas Parish

The cottage was homey and very comfortable. Julie always responded to us very quickly, and stayed on top of all of our questions. The beach was incredible, the kids had as much fun as us. We definitely would recommend, and would love to go back!

We didnt actually stay in the 2 bedroom apartment as it was accidentally double booked. But the owners apologized and offered us a 1 bedroom apartment at a discount. The 1 bedroom was very clean and well equipped with towels and kitchen stuffs. There is an excellent shop right out front and the beach is beautiful and very private. Unfortunately when we stayed the mosquitoes were crazy. My 85 year old grandmother said she had never seen anything like it. They were a giant swarm . It was fine once you made it to the beach but just in the yard was terrible. I should mention that my aunt stayed a couple places down in July and had no issues with mosquitoes.

May was great to deal with and quickly responded. The cottage and location were lovely and well equipped. Loved the yard and screened in porch looking over the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Lots of fun for our family and dog. We often walked the beach without seeing anyone which gave our lab a chance to run and swim off leash and gave us quiet evenings. 😉

The house was even more beautiful than in the pictures! The appliances were great quality and the house was very clean. The view of the ocean was beautiful. We had a lovely stay!

A beautiful place to stay! We wanted to have a peaceful weekend away with no one around us and that's what we got. The cottage is very cosy and warm even on cold days. It has a large garden where our pup could run and explore. There were a couple of other houses around but they were empty, only raccoons around us. Ross was very responsive and answered all our questions very promptly. We got local tips as well and visited the brewery (worth the visit), North Cape (beware the visitor centre is closed for the season, but it is a beautiful place to visit regardless), and the Confederation trail is only 5 minutes away. We are already planning to come back next year.

We had a great rest in this house. The house is large, suitable for a large family or a group of friends. The House has everything you need, and a lot of space, a beautiful view from the windows. Bright House and cozy. I was especially pleased with the huge bathroom and a lot of towels. Everything is clean and tidy. Our children were thrilled that there was a place to play.We used the grill and drank delicious coffee. We were happy in this house, it's so quiet and peaceful. For us, it was a corner of paradise, where we want to return again and again.

Had a wonderful time here. The pool was fantastic, spent many hours floating in it. The covered deck a great place to spend time reading and watching birds, and the newly-renovated bathroom made me jealous! The property is large, my dog had a good time exploring. The sound of geese and ducks spendig the night on the beach lulled us to sleep. The house is a very short drive from Shediac main street, lots of restaurants and grocery shops and places to walk. The only downside I found to the place is at low tide, if the wind is in the right direction, there can be a sulphur smell outside. The smell doesn't last long and doesn't make it inside the house. Lauren was very helpful and quick in communications. Overall I'd highly recommend this place.

My stay at the charming beachfront cottage on York Street was nothing short of perfect. The cottage itself was impeccably clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the outdoor amenities—starting our mornings with a peaceful coffee on the patio, followed by a dip in the pool. The surroundings are serene, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home.

We had a wonderful time! Loved all the little extras they provided at the cottage; s'mores bucket, water, soda, coffee and tea. The beds were super comfortable I want to find out where they bought the mattress and bedding! The fire by the water was so nice and relaxing. We purchased lobster from the wharf and cooked them outside Super fun weekend can't wait to rebook!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views from the kitchen and living room are exceptional.

This is our third time at Moniques and it is more wonderful each time. Monique is a professional host and the house is spectacular. What a wonderful part of NB especially for us, as our kids are in French immersion. Beach right down from the house is beautiful and everything you need can be bought locally. We drove into Shediac for a couple patio meals and pier jumping. So sad to head home but we will be back to NB!

Great location! We had 4 adults, 4 kids, and two dogs and there was more than enough room. Everything we needed to cook our meals.

We enjoyed our stay, the view was fantastic. It was great to be so close to the pool as the mosquitos didn’t harass us there as they did in the yard. They made for a fun evening game of who could zap the most once we gave up and came inside. The beds were very comfortable and after a day of fun it was nice to have the home away from home feeing. We would love to vacation here again, longer than a weekend next time. Great communication with the host when questions came to mind.

Amazing location!! Cottage was perfect!! Everything we needed for a week stay was included. The private beach was perfect was long walks searching for sea glass!!

Lovely modern condominium with garage, 2 beds and all mod cons on three floors (beware if stairs are an issue). Located on the bay at Shediac Bridge, convenient short drive to Shediac and shops. A guy can never have too much Lobster!

An abundance of amenities were already available as soon as we stepped inside! Welcoming atmosphere, snacks, coffee, and wine…super clean plenty of towels, toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, cookware and utensils, dish soap, dish towels, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent tabs and fabric softener sheets. There was a vacuum and broom making it so easy to keep it spotless! Firewood for the pit, propane BBQ, puzzles, cards, books, lawn chairs…honestly it felt like home - but the view of the ocean and the stars at night were out of this world! Would definitely recommend and return again.

My family had an amazing week staying at the cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very homey. Very easy to get to, close to town, and the views are spectacular at sunset. Jocelyn was quick to respond if we had questions. Highly recommend staying here!
