Holiday rentals with a pool in Dumfries

We had the most perfect stay. The area is beautiful with plenty to offer in terms of days out, stunning scenery & great food. Matt’s house was a wonderful base for the week. Felt spacious yet cosy, perfect for us (family of 3 plus dog). Everything we needed for a week away & the on site amenities were a great addition (we used the pool & mini golf plenty). I’d love to think we’d return as we’d be very happy to. Many great memories made. & all Matt’s food recommendations were spot on!

Cottage was adorable, loads of space, really warm and cozy. Perfect location. The site was fab, loved the pool and games for children. Only thing was a couple of facilities out of order such as the sauna, steam room and gym. This didn't affect the children's enjoyment.

Great apartment in a great location. A 10 min drive to some amazing places. We visited Aira Force Waterfall, Blencathra and the farm shop nearby (Basecamp). Everything had been thought of and as a family of 4 we were comfortable and had enough room. Raluca made herself available if we needed anything at all. It was a bonus to have the facilities of the resort available; swimming, restaurant, gym, although we didn’t use them due to a short stay. Great apartment and we would love to visit again in the future.

Such a magical place so peaceful and well looked after couldn’t have asked for anything better me and my partner and 2 kids really enjoyed our long weekend there will definitely be coming back

Was a really lovely stay in a wonderful location. The place was very clean and tidy throughout with fantastic decor that made it feel very homely. Towels left on beds and beds perfectly made and comfy to sleep on. Only an hour away from areas of the lake district and close to the Solway coast. The location was perfect for a getaway. Fantastic value for money and the location of the place on the site is great too... great amenities and looking out over a lake is fantastic. Host left really easy instructions and was very communicative. The only very minor issue was that the wifi was on the slow side but suspect this was down to weather... however, when you've got so much to do locally and on site, it really isn't much of an issue at all! Would 100% stay again and would recommend to couples or small families

Excellent little cottage, immaculately clean, well furnished with all the basics you need for your to make yourself at home whilst also being free of useless clutter some owners like to fill their places with. The place was incredibly cosy despite the cold weather as they’ve clearly spent money on adding insulation and a good heating system so the big log burner isn’t needed to keep warm but lovely to have for the ambiance.

We loved our stay and can’t thank Jennifer enough for everything. Her communication is outstanding, she’s so helpful, friendly and always goes the extra mile. She kindly had a high chair delivered to the property just to help us out. No question was too much and she replied instantly. The holiday village is exactly what we were looking for as it had so many facilities to entertain our baby. We loved the pool, duck pond, park, hot tub and children’s game room. The accommodation is fab- super comfy bed, and all the amenities that you need. Balcony had lovely views. She kindly provided thoughtful gestures including coffee, tea, jams, and shower/dental kits too. We can’t thank you enough for everything, and we can’t wait to come back in summer!

I was well impressed with my stay at the Nuthatch, Joe , Wendys husband was a lovely man and went out of his way to help and give advice on where to go where to eat and sorting the Hot Tub Out. lol. Fantastic and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a great getaway. The accommodation was first class extremely clean and very comfortable .

We just had a great stay at the templand cottages. Brilliant location. Very peaceful. The pool was great additional amenity as the kids loved it. We stayed in the Jane Welsh cottage and it was probably the most private when in the hot tub and had excellent views over the hills. Thanks for a relaxing stay.
