⭐Stunning⭐ Cottage with Hot Tub

HollieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay with our 3 dogs at heron view, we enjoyed the spacious living area and comfortable beds. The utility space was a great nook for the dogs if they were wet from walking. Lovely local pub (the Masonic) with friendly people and bar staff. The hot tub was a massive bonus! Thanks Donald We will be back!

The photos don’t do the cottage justice. It really is lovely, great size, beautifully furnished, luxurious bedding and spotlessly clean. We were made to feel very welcome, Anne & Peter were great hosts, we’d definitely stay here again.

Wigtown, Beautiful solar powered Yurt

FleurRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our long weekend at the yurt was absolutely perfect! We were lucky enough to get 2 starry nights in the hot tub, which we brought our own fairy lights for and it really did add to the special location within the mossy trees by the burn✨ The log burner in the yurt heated the space up very quickly, so it was lovely and cosy. A perfect place to cook nice meals and play some board games. The bed was also incredibly comfy and warm. We brought our digital radio as we love a bit of radio 6, which was a great idea! Felt so at home, we didn’t want to leave!! It was the most relaxing, peaceful, private environment to stay in and we already can’t wait to stay again. A real break, going back to basics. For us, it couldn’t have been better!

Little Meadow

CraigRating, 5 stars3 months ago
What a great find! My wife, daughter and I stayed at little meadow, and loved it! Very clean, very warm, everything we needed. The hot tub was a nice touch and over looks the meadows, with views of the cows and sheep. Susan was a great host. Great touch with prosecco and chocolates on arrival. Susan was kind enough to let my daughter feed the baby calves only a few days old! Amazing experience...! The two cats Lucky and Clover are very friendly and loved cuddles! Within 10 mins there are supermarkets and only a couple of mins away there is a local shop in Dearham. There are two local pubs, of which we ate at the old Mill the food is great. The location of West House Farm is perfect. So much to see within 45 mins, Buttermere, Windermere, keswick and so on. Buttermere was are favourite. Would highly recommend, Susan was a great host, lovely place, my daughter is already asking can we go back!

DISTILLERY(The Stables) with private HOT TUB

AnnRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We wanted to stay North of the Border for a family birthday. Instructions were clear. Kitchen well-equipped. Beds very comfortable. Bathrooms pristine. Hot Tub welcoming. Margaret was a wonderful, responsive and thoughtful host leaving not only a welcome box and kitchen essentials but remembered the birthday on the day and left an additional gift which was much appreciated. The site is shared with a Whisky Distillery and Cafe and the staff were all amazing. It was easy to find, close to a town with places of interest, good transport links. I would stay again.

Cosy quiet bungalow in Galloway Forest Park

NigelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a great discovery. Fabulous cottage in a most beautiful location, with the most excellent walks right from the door step. We were able to explore this wonderful area without getting in the car.......just perfect. Cottage was ideal for the two of us and our dog, and indeed had an extra bedroom with three additional beds which we did not need to use. Dave and Beth were utterly excellent and proactive in their communication and could not have been more helpful. What a lovely place to stay, within a great local community!! Highly recommended.

The Cheese House Self Catering Cottage

KellyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
What a beautiful little cottage ( and very cute animals )! We have just spent a lovely weekend here. We love the peace and quiet and even though you are staying at the farm itself you are not disturbed at all. Everything was squeaky clean and a lovely welcome of some fresh eggs on the dining table from the hens. Highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon.

Rural cottage in total tranquility

JoiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at Alison's place. The cottage is very comfortable. Spacious well equipped kitchen and good log burner in the sitting-room. We were there in mid winter, so I was concerned I'd be cold in bed, but there was a great vintage 100% wool blanket that kept us really warm. She had lots of information; books and leaflets on things to do in the area, which was really helpful. It's a lovely part of Scotland.

Back Lodge. Alticry Farm

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely time here. The cottage is warm and homely. Nice and clean, comfy beds, lots of space, some local leaflets and maps, books, new kitchen cloths, lovely towels. There were also the nice extra touches like a pint of milk in the fridge, a few spices and salt, kitchen roll, foil and cling film. Things that make all the difference. With a view of the sea from the bedrooms and in a wonderful tucked away place. Thank you!

55 Barend Holiday Lodges: free swimming and golf

LeeanneRating, 5 stars52 months ago
What a lovely, lovely place to stay. The lodge manages to be both cosy and spacious at the same time. There are three really nice bedrooms plus three bathrooms and the main living space is big, with plenty of space for lounging, reading, playing games or watching the tv after a day at the beach. The thing I always love when I go to stay anywhere is great bedding and the lodge was not a disappointment! The downstairs double bed had the most incredible duvet, huge and fluffy and warm - lovely for lying in bed in the morning looking at the great view from the french doors with a cup of tea. We used the swimming pool, using the booking system, which was nice. You book a session in the pool, which you have for your own use during your session. Having the pool to ourselves was a bit of a treat! There is a lovely pub on site too, although we sat outside due to the current situation, we went in to order drinks and it was really nice inside. Though no local beer, which would have been nice. The lodge is within walking distance of a really amazing, amazing beach - just beautiful. You can do lots of really great walks from the lodge, along the beach or the coastal walk, as well as through the many lovely forests in the area. We were lucky enough to see red squirrels! Despite some slight issues with communication (down to a problem with technology and not on their part) we had a wonderful time and are very much looking forward to returning. We would really recommend Barend as a wonderful place to visit, the lodge was absolutely gorgeous (did I mention the amazing duvet?!) and just a few minutes walk from the most incredible beach. A perfect trip away. We will absolutely be making a return trip

We had a great stay at Whitbarrow. We have visited the resort before on many occasions. We had some minor issues in the accommodation which were swiftly resolved by Seasons staff. Kal and Anita were great to communicate with leading up to and during the stay also. Very responsive and helpful. Good facilities onsite too and helpful staff. Thank you
