Apartment holiday rentals in Downtown, Long Beach

Barbara's place, or should I say MauMau's home, is a hidden treasure in the west coast side. My partner and I really enjoyed the cozy setting along with the cheeky company of MauMau the kitty. We will definitely treasure the memory of being able to stay in such a cozy setting for our last night in California and will keep it in our favorites for later when we do decide to return to the west coast. Thanks again Barbara and MauMau for the great hosting!

Marcis is extremely responsive and would patiently handle any requests or questions my family had, even if it was at an odd hour. (I booked a place for them to stay for 2 weeks). The place is clean, well equipped and priced well too for the location. The check out process was very easy too - highly recommend!

Kristi’s place is ideally located in the North End of Manhattan Beach, only a few blocks from the Strand (which we walked daily) and nearby multiple restaurants and coffee shops. Parking is on the left hand side of the driveway (not in the garage) in front of the staircase going up to the unit. There is space for two other cars in the drive (as there are two other units in the building). The living room is a comfortable common area and the ensuite bathrooms provide some additional privacy when traveling with others (bathrooms are rather small but quite functional). Kitchen is very modern, clean, and well-stocked. One bedroom has a wall heater and portable space heaters (found below the TV) offer additional heat sources for the second bedroom and the living room as needed. Kristi’s place was very clean and quite charming and she was extremely accessible any time we had questions. We would definitely stay again and look forward to the opportunity.

I was in town for a work trip at the Long Beach Convention Center and Will’s place had everything I needed to make the week easier. The studio apartment is in a walkable area, and it only took me about 15 minutes to get to the convention center by foot each day. The apartment was well stocked with coffee to start each day right, and the bathroom also had a basket of necessities in case I forgot anything essential. The bed was also very comfortable and the complimentary pillow spray was a nice touch! The check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow, so getting in was a breeze. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely consider Will’s place again for future trips to Long Beach!

John’s place is pretty close to Santa Monica Pier while in a quiet neighborhood. The place is secured with key fob entry requirements at all entry points. The actual place has all the listed amenities.

We had a great stay! The apartment is small and cute, perfect for two people. The neighborhood is very walkable, just a couple blocks from the beach, with plenty of restaurants and cafés just a few minutes away. Or you can walk along the beach on the strand For an easy mile to get downtown.

I am staying with Pam for the second year. She is a wonderful host, and her place is perfectly located for me. The decor is notably curated. The space is ideal for me. I am quite satisfied with the place and with Pam!

Tano was super helpful and the place is great, has everything you need and it’s right by the beach!

The home was nice and comfortable. Everything was clean. It’s very close to the beach, only a 15 minute walk! The neighborhood was quiet. The only thing was that the shower and a smell almost like a beachy smell. Other than that the place was perfect!!

Had a wonderful stay here. The Airbnb is exactly as listed, and it still exceeded our expectations. David had very clear and thorough instructions. The location is great, parking was never an issue, and it was easy to find. I have zero gripes. Would definitely come back here.

Amazing place right in the heart of the Venice canals. Could not ask for a better setting or location. Extremely helpful and proactive host. Our stay was absolutely perfect. Would 100% come back.

Our stay at Mieko’s Airbnb was fantastic! The location was close to the airport and centrally located to all the tourist attractions we wanted to visit. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Mieko was an outstanding host, addressing any issues we had promptly and with a friendly attitude.

The space was finished with everything you will need to your start. Make sure to read the Check in instructions, everything you need is covered… I definitely recommend.

This place was amazing! The views were incredible even on a rainy LA day! The space felt comfortable and clean. The bed was super comfy as well! Would stay again :)

Amazing location adjacent to UCLA, groceries, shopping, great food. The condo complex had amazing amenities including pool, gym with climbing wall. We loved it and will choose this property again if we need accommodations in Westwood.

Julia’s place was very cozy and as shown. The location is great to walk and have all nearby shops. We were evacuating during the January 2025 fires and Julia made us feel at home during these difficult times.

This stay has so many highlights and memorable features on top of the five stars in other categories! These hosts put above average effort into the amenities, interior design, and hospitality. We loved the hot tub and felt like we were in our own private oasis even though the neighboring units were occupied. Jan and Dale stocked plenty of towels so we were able to to enjoy it several times. When we eventually did laundry (we stayed for five nights), we ran out of detergent and Jan came by within the hour to drop off some laundry detergent. The hosts left many special touches including fresh cut fruit in the fridge/yogurt, which were perfect for breakfast, and the best Trader Joe's toiletries (if you know, you know). The space is on the smaller side but absolutely standard for a house in this region and ample in comfort and character. The neighborhood is very walkable and has TONS of street parking for a Long Beach street (I lived here for 7 years, parking is notoriously difficult!).

This place has everything you need and is in a safe location.

Nice place. The building is very confusing. My girlfriend didn’t feel very safe in the garage, since there’s drug consumption and lots of dark corners. But to be clear: This is not the Mona’s fault!

I have stayed with them before and will stay with them again. Very accurate and never any false information. All too often you find people lying all the time on Airbnb but this company is honest and great on every point. Love their places. Cozy, warm, always everything you need is there, good areas, very responsive should you need additional things. Five out five
