Cabin holiday rentals in Douro-Dummer

We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

Great winter getaway. The cottage was cute, cozy and clean! The description of the cottage doesn’t do it justice as there are four nice bedrooms (the fourth one is just tough to see in the pictures) and although the water isn’t potable, there were jugs already there for us upon arrival. Only thing missing was a coffee maker, but otherwise wonderful stay!

Sarah was a great host and the property itself was beautiful! My friends and I had a lovely time visiting for some good relaxation! Sarah responded timely and was very kind. We would recommend this place for sure!

This place exceeded all expectations. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Kabin Bjorn. It was absolutely stunning both inside and out and was just the relaxing vacation we needed. The cabin felt like home and we didn’t not want to leave. It was loved by my husband and I and our 2 dogs who enjoyed being able to explore new surroundings. Cassidy was such and amazing host with quick response times and always made us feel welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better time away. We will certainly be booking again 😊

Victoria was an amazing host, she was more than accommodating. Her place was very well decorated, the beds were so comfy. The hot tub was great. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for peace and quiet and just an overall great place to stay and relax. We were there in the winter, it was so pretty though. We definitely would like to go back in the warmer weather too. 100% recommended.

INCREDIBLE find!! I can’t say enough about this cabin and the amazing hosts. Location was beyond perfect, private, quiet and clean. The space was so thoughtfully designed; modern but cozy with so many thoughtful details. The hot tub, espresso machines, record player, comfy beds. I could go on!! Absolutely one of my favourite Airbnb experiences and I can’t wait to come back!!

The Eh Frame is incredible and so thoughtfully designed and stocked with everything you’d need for a perfect getaway. We had an amazing time tucked away in the peace and quiet, got to make some delicious meals in the kitchen, and enjoyed the sauna and hot tub multiple times a day! Truly one of the best and most unique spaces you’ll find, and Chris was an awesome host! I already can’t wait to come back here

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie's Airbnb! She was an excellent host—very responsive and attentive to our needs. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short due to an incoming snowstorm, but it didn't take away from our experience. If I had one piece of feedback, it would be regarding the walkway to the door—it should have been cleared, especially with the heavy snow we received. The melting icicles made it a bit slippery, and the driveway could have been cleared too, as it would have been easier to access the front door. Also, if you're planning to skate, the amount of snow made it difficult since there was slush underneath, so skating wasn't really an option. However, despite that, the space itself was great! We were a group of three families, with a total of 10 people and 2 dogs, and it was the perfect setup. The boys loved the outdoor firepit, and the moms enjoyed the indoor one. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and Stephanie was a lovely host. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was my third time staying at this air b n b & it is my favorite all time place. Its always very cozy, calm, and feels like a home. Absolutely perfect stay if you want a calm getaway. We love to listen to the wind in the trees and enjoy the sauna, having quality family time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect spot- beautiful sunsets over the lake. Good swimming and nice dock area. Cottages were lovely inside with everything we needed and beds were so comfortable. Had lots of fun campfires and there is a nice lawn between the cottages for activities and dog to explore. Would definitely like to come back- great time had by all!

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.

This cabin in the Buckhorn area is a wonderful retreat with classic cabin ambiance inside and cottage lifestyle vibes outside. A beautiful home with multiple levels and beds that works well for a group to enjoy a meal together or take in the views and also works if some with to lay low while others want to have lovely conversation as the lower level is more isolated. The locals are also extremely friendly! Khristel was extremely responsive when I had questions and the well presented guide was helpful and made the whole process an easy experience allowing myself and guests to just meet right to relaxing! would love to go in the summer to see what the different season is like!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Thunderbird Cabin! Check in was easy! The cabin was super cozy, clean, and great for our larger group. We hope to check it out in the warmer months to enjoy the lake to its full potential.

We loved our stay at Eric’s place. The listing pictures are great, but do not fully do the location, cabin, or experience, justice! We felt right at home immediately. The cabin is warm, inviting, and spacious with fully stocked amenities. We absolutely loved the thoughtful touches that Eric provided ahead of our arrival. The property is large and backs right onto the river. Just beautiful in the daytime and peaceful in the evening. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay. We would love to return in the summer - thank you Eric!

Just back from a two night stay at Chris and Hannah's cozy, comfortable cabin. The setting is spectacular nestled in the sugar bush of a working maple syrup producer. The cabin is ultra charming and well equipped. I dealt with Hannah who was warm, kind, and helpful without being obstrusive. For cold-weather visitors, note that shower is outside but just a step outside the back door, as is the private sauna. I would definitely return to this peaceful, charming place and recommend it to others.

The place was more than what we had expected. Everyone in the community was nice and welcoming. The place had different types of activities so you are never bored. This is definetly a place my friends and I want to come to again in the future.

Jennifer was a wonderful host. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. My wife and I really enjoyed our short stay and will be back again in the future as a family with the kids. We had the best sleep in a long time on the cabin bed, it was so comfortable.
