One of the best Airbnbs I've ever been, just a great decision. Host too attentive and always willing to help, breathtaking views, details all around the house. I would come back and highly recommend it!

Such a beautiful and peaceful location, with an epic view! Very spacious house with incredible ocean views from every bedroom. We enjoyed listening to the howler monkeys in the morning! Its a bit of a drive from Uvita/Dominical, but well worth it for the beauty and privacy it offers. 4WD is definitely needed to get here. Roberto and Diana were very responsive and helpful! We would love to come back here someday and highly recommend this place

This is my second visit to Beth’s place and we loved it. Such a beautiful location and a charming and unique home. The gardens and access to the river is incredible. We went in the river each day - so refreshing. We even used the outdoor pizza oven! So fun! The living room area is a little bit sparse and a couple comfy chairs on the deck would be nice — but nothing that would detract me from staying here again. A very special property.

Our four-night stay over the New Year’s Eve holiday at Volare was nothing short of magical! It was the perfect setting for our family to come together and celebrate the start of a new year. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and beautiful the home was. The natural light pouring through the windows made the entire house feel warm and inviting, and we couldn’t get enough of the stunning views—especially the clouds and the birds that graced the sky each morning. Tucker was a fantastic host, always available and ready to help with anything we needed. It was clear that she cares deeply about the space and her guests. Yamilet, the property manager, was so friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless and felt like a true retreat. This was the perfect escape for our family to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the holiday. We can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore, this home is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return!

This beautiful home it's a great find in our list definitively its a must. Excellent in all aspects, we had a family trip to receive the new year and everybody was very satisfied with the house. Isabel is a great host she was very aware of our stay, she's very kind and polite. A big variety of birds and nature around the house, its a very peacefull place excellent for families. The place is exactly as described and has a nice cozy cabin feel. The area is peaceful and beautiful surroundings. A little tricky to find but well worth the adventure and only about 10 mins from Cloudbridge. I would definitely stay here again! Good value for money and exactly as described

It was a simple, but very comfortable house. The views out the front door were amazing, you could see all of Cartago. And you could see Volcano Irazu around the back of the house. Everything was clean and Francisco was very helpful answering questions, etc.. It’s an interesting neighborhood on top of a hill but a little bit far out of town if you want to go out for dinner or whatever.

Cindy’s condo is the perfect retreat for a family, or for a group. It is incredibly spacious, with more room than the pictures can show. The view of San Jose was gorgeous day and night. The pool was public to the condo, and was heated. The drive Into San Jose was a touch longer than expected, but that was no biggie due to all of the other amenities. Lots of balcony space, on multiple levels have great indoor/outdoor experiences. Definitely would stay again.

Perfect location, the food court across the street was great! We slept very well, no noise and washer and dryer a plus for travelers. Great host and great communication. Would return!

I recently stayed at Casa Verde for my first trip to Costa Rica, and I can’t recommend it enough! As someone from Austin, TX, I’ve seen some amazing art, but the artwork on the walls here is absolutely mind-blowing—each piece adds so much character and warmth to the space. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and felt like a true escape. The location was perfect for exploring the central valley, and the hosts were incredibly attentive and welcoming. If you’re looking for a unique and inspiring place to stay, this is it!

My husband and I spent two nights at this beautiful place and really enjoyed it. The room was very clean and cozy. Everything looked exactly as shown in the pictures. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of Monica's lovingly maintained garden and the beautiful Orosital. Monica was a very friendly and helpful hostess. We can definitely recommend the place!

This place was an amazing retreat into the mountains after a long week in the humidity at envision. A beautiful place to decompress and relax amongst the clouds. Chema and Marga are amazing hosts, so kind and open with fascinating stories and insights into eco- living. The food is incredible— fresh local ingredients and made with love. I highly recommend! Definitely visit the nearby swimming holes / waterfalls as well. One of my favorite places to date!

The house was great, the location was gorgeous, and the activities around the area are endless. But, the real star was the concierge team. Hazel, Jorge, and Andrey made planning and coordinating our trip for a large group effortless. We had issues due to weather with our flights in and the team was immediately responsive to help rearrange shuttles, activities, etc. It would have been daunting without them. I cannot stress enough how much our group appreciated the team!

This is the best deal you can get. We had a group of 9 stay here and was very spacious. For the price you pay you get two trails on the property one leading to a waterfall. There are deer that you can go pet on the property and have a gate guard the whole time so you’re protected. Every single room has a view of the city which is tremendous sight to see. On top of that Chris, the grounds keeper, was very polite. He worked well with our check in considering we arrived at 3am. He knows the area well and has suggestions and always available to help with anything to need. If you plan to be around the San Jose are, this property/ AirBnB is a no brainer.

Catherine and Ryan have been the kindest hosts we have ever encountered. Prior the visit, they were super proactive with a lot of details (food, places to visit nearby, staff required, etc) in order to have the best possible experience. During the stay, they were on top of everything to solve any problem that we could’ve been facing, even the smallest. They have a great cleaning, cooking and maintenance staff… that knows how to do things impeccably. The place was just like the pictures or even better. Super clean, peaceful, private, mixed with the nature, with high quality furniture inside those three well designed (architectural speaking) villas. These are super well equipped, with a lot of gadgets, accessories and devices in order to have the best experience. The jacuzzi was amazing, easy to manage and capable of reaching high temperatures. Our favorite spot of La Sombra. It was an extraordinary experience and we are looking forward to return the next year.

Spectacular hosts, they quickly become your friend! Andrea, his family and his home are a unique experience. The view, training room and all utilities inside the house are worthy of a luxury home, the unparalleled security and privacy of the place allows you to enjoy the fresh air and the view of the entire city of Cartago. Note: They wake up in the early morning and go out to the balcony of the master bedroom! They will thank me

Beautiful property and extraordinary views. Liberty was a very responsive and gracious host, we truly enjoyed our stay, the pool and the tower which was where we hung out most! Grocery stores and restaurants were available within a short distance, although we cooked a lot on property, we even got to experience a local festival.
