Holiday rentals with a kayak in Digby County

This is the perfect spot for a girls weekend or a family retreat…six slept comfortably and there was space for more. Everything is clean and modern. It is very spacious with three sitting areas inside and several outside. The view is so beautiful and it feels very private.

We looked for a secluded place away from hustle and bustle for a few days and, boy, did we find it! Beautiful surroundings, very well thought out space design and unique, detailed decorations. Kate thought of everything from beach towels to sunscreen to emergency kit. The beach had kayaks, the outdoor space had a deck towering over the magnificent river views where one could enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The place is immersed in serenity of the surrounding woods and St. Croix River. The charming historic town of St. Andrews is just 20 minutes away where one can enjoy quaint little shops and nice restaurants serving delicious local food. A beautiful place worth spending a quiet time in.

Lovely cozy, private cabin with a 10-15 minute drive to Annapolis Royal. The kitchen was small but nice and clean. Bathrooms were spacious and clean as well. The beds were comfortable and extra linens were available. The whole place was very dog friendly with included bowls and beds. We loved the wood burning stove in the living room and had a wonderful stay with friends and our pup despite all the rain. John was an excellent host and provided info about the area and was great to deal with and accomodating during both check-in and check-out.

What a beautiful airbnb! Right on the water, the views are spectacular! Was clean, comfortable, lots to do, very comfortable furniture and was as described! Was responsive and helpful when I had questions pre-stay. If you have a chance to stay here, do it!!!

Amazing stay! Highly recommend!” We had an incredible experience at Bear Mountain Lodge. The entire home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay to receive the new year . The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Josh and Vianca were exceptionally friendly and responsive, providing everything  we needed to feel at home which made the trip even better. The decorations, the deck, the kids section, lake, mountain, and location really made it feel like home away from home. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing place with a great host, this is the place. I would absolutely stay here again!

We felt lucky to find a place so close to the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park!! The yard is huge and beautiful with a lovely walk down to the lake. Comfortable beds, nice hot water, easy to control the temperature in the house. Only negatives; upstairs bathroom only has a tub, kayaks need some work.

We had an amazing stay at Riley and Ryan’s lake house for my mom’s 50th birthday. The house had everything we needed to make our weekend both relaxing and fun. The space was clean, cozy, and perfectly stocked with all the essentials. The location was beautiful, and we loved being able to spend quality time with family in such a peaceful setting. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you for providing such a wonderful getaway spot!

Lisa’s place was so beautiful n cozy, has everything you need for a staycation. I love that it’s right near the water n have full access. I would recommend this stay to anyone who needs a relaxing stay.

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

We were so pleased with our stay! Beautiful location, wonderful sandy bottom lake, privacy, comfort, very well equipped kitchen. We will definitely book again!

We felt like we had a break from the world. It was peaceful, very cozy, charming, and comfortable. We slept like babies, even though it was cooler weather and we had to put wood in the stove for heat (something we enjoyed immensely). Kitchen was reasonably equipped, so we just cooked our own meals. If you’re ok with a few bugs and spiders here and there (nothing dangerous), you’ll love it. We plan to be back.

Kate’s property is amazing! It’s on the end of a gravel road, so it’s very private (It’s literally in the woods). The second we walked through the door we were blown away. Huge picture windows showing off the beautiful view of Orange Lake. The cabin itself was spotless. So clean and bright. It has a covered deck and an enclosed porch perfect for sitting and enjoying the views. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Plus the grill outside (we only used it once because it was cold and windy)The heat kept the place toasty warm and the shower was nice and hot. The beds were comfy! The WiFi worked great and there was even a smart tv with all the streaming services. All the comforts of home. We didn’t have any major issues but any small questions we had, Kate was very quick to respond. The dogs loved walking around the area, which consisted of dirt and gravel roads, so no traffic. Definitely an 11/10! We plan on returning!

This was an incredible place. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting around a campfire each evening with a view of the sunset over the lake and then the moonrise and stars. There were beautiful views of the lake from the cottage as well. Karine was very helpful. We hope to return again in the future!

I had a different reason for staying at Mink Lake ... we are considering purchasing a property on Mink Lake and I wanted a place to stay that would allow me to get a better feel for the lake and the area. Amanda was super helpful in accommodating my timeline and duration and was very good at communicating throughout our reservation and stay. Much appreciated!

This is an amazing property! Serene, immaculate, welcoming, and cozy. The beds were amazing and you had every comfort you wanted. The welcome basket was a nice touch, and Dianne gave us perfect directions 😊 She also gave us concise contact information, which we did not need to use because there were no issues at all

What a jewel their cottage is, and exactly as described. The cottage was immaculate and everything you need is there and then some. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had longer to visit. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting to explore the area, while enjoying a nice relaxing place to stay on a lovely lake. Loved the kayaking as well.

Abby's Hideaway is a beautiful little cabin on Bog Lake. It's private and quiet. I arrived after dark and , no trouble finding the Hideaway. Every little thing is thought of: extra toiletries, chocolate candy treats, sweet card welcoming me to their home.... I was enchanted and will come back again! This was such a beautiful place! I wish we could have stayed longer! If I ever get back up here from North Carolina, I will definitely stay here again.

Jan's cabin is the perfect spot for a Maine Lakeside getaway. The house was cozy and had all the amenities you would want while being right on the water. The outside deck is definitely the highlight with comfortable furniture to dine and watch the amazing sunsets. Janet is a delight as a host and I look forward to returning.

Loved this quiet peaceful space for a family getaway. Close to gorgeous beaches. 15-20min away from Carters beach and Summerville beach. The latter is a great beginner surfing beach.

The Bocabec bunkie was just so cute! The wood stove kept us nice and toasty as we watched the view change from sunrise to sunset. So close to St Andrews which we had a great time exploring!

We absolutely loved Jessica's place! A perfect spot right on the ocean, the sun rises are spectacular and we even got a beautiful full moon. I wish we could have stayed longer! Jessica was awesome, super helpful and responsive. Just an absolutely perfect stay!

This little cabin is absolutely idyllic. Hidden in the woods on the lake, it is a perfect get away spot. The wooden fire and incredible views were perfect the fall weather. Easy check in, great ammenities and awesome communication from the host. Loved it and couldn’t recommend the place more 🤗
