Holiday houses in Dexter

This was our second stay at The Cottage on Jackson! We love this house. Great location… easy walk to downtown and all things GCSU. We will definitely be back!

Although I extremely enjoyed my stay at this location again, I would recommend that Mr. Bond think about upgrading his mattresses on the beds. They were a little uncomfortable with the sinking in the middle of the beds. I look forward to staying at this place next year as well. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic stay. Zero issues. Sort of a last minute booking after our group had to cancel with a different host. John messaged early with clear instructions how to get in, the WiFi, etc. Once we were there, we had no issues at all. The lake, and especially the little dock, were the best! We didn’t go out in the water, but just being able to go enjoy a peaceful morning on the dock with a coffee or stargaze at night was so relaxing and we found ourselves out there plenty. The house itself was great. Nice drive way with plenty of parking for our group. The kitchen and dining area were fantastic, and where we spent most of our time. Bedrooms were all great! Two of them have awesome views of the lake that were a real treat to wake up to. Zero complaints, zero issues. Definitely bookmarking this one for a visit during a summer sometime.

Wow where to even begin, Emilee’s place is breathtaking. This was our first Airbnb outside of Fl and we had the most amazing experience ever. We ended up seeing snow on the ground which was our first seeing it and it was just so cool experiencing it all at Emilee’s house. We felt so at home and comfortable that it made us wish we could’ve stayed longer. Everything was so easy with Emilee she was very informative with directions and recommendation’s. BEST HOST EVER!! Highly recommend staying at this place !

Great place with beautiful views, the host was so amazing and on top of everything!!!

We were comfortable from the moment we walked through the door of this house. It's welcoming with an ideal balance of private and communal space, inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed, so over three days we ate every meal at the house. We didn't always need to cook because there was prepared food within a few minutes' drive. Susan provided plenty of suggestions for groceries, restaurants, and activities at Veterans State Park. We all slept great and attribute that to the quality of the bedding and mattresses as well as the sense of peace in the neighborhood. We spent evenings working on a puzzle enjoying a cozy fire and the fairy lights around the mantle. The wifi allowed remote work. Susan communicated well and was quick to respond to questions. She was personable and welcoming. We look forward to returning in warmer weather when we can take advantage of the pool and spend more time on the dock watching the sunset. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thanks, Susan!

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was spacious & comfortable. It was literally in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere. The windows overlooked the beautiful Christmas lights. We loved it.
