Holiday rentals with beach access in Detroit River

This was my second stay. I love how roomy, comfortable and extremely clean the unit is. Within walking distance to many restaurants, small shops, ice cream shop, candy shop, and best of all right on the beach/river. I’m sure I’ll rent again. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Aunt Rose’s place. The living room had comfortable seats and the kitchen was well-stocked.

What a great stay! The apartment is cozy, and it looks much better than in the pictures. We felt right at home. It is private and secured. Has everything you need. Also, having an in suite washer and dryer is a big plus for a place in an apartment building. You can see the water and the bridge from the balcony. The area seems very quiet and safe. We honestly did not wanna leave 🤣 The host is very nice and responsive. If you are still considering, look no further. Highly recommended!

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

I was raised much of my younger years in New Baltimore. It's a great location near my family, high school friends, several restaurants, & the park on the bay. Many interesting area sites & museums are within an hour drive. Everything needed to be comfortable is within the unit. Gina, Thanks for being a good host.

BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND!!! We came down on a weekend where Lake Erie was struggling with the residual hurricane helene weather. Despite the fall back Morgan and Rachel were so accommodating, very responsive and helpful with our late check in and always got us what we needed in a timely manner. The Airbnb was close to everything and the had the best golf cart deals out of every place we went to. I can’t imagine staying somewhere else. Very impressed and we will be back soon!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Toledo House and will most definitely be booking again in the future! My only recommendation would be to put in the Airbnb description that there are private entrances and bathrooms for all units, as well as hot water. There was some confusion and I ended up reaching out to Skip for clarification before our stay. The location was great! The room was extremely clean and we heard no noise whatsoever from the neighbors. As I said, we will be staying here again!

ONLY downside is the noise- from downtown and the old thin windows you can hear a lot BUT he provides ear plugs! This was the first air bnb that we’ve had stocked with so much little things for travelers! Snacks, soda, water bottle, toiletries (women’s products), cookies and so much more that made the stay so easy and wonderful!

We had an incredible getaway for my girlfriend’s birthday! The home was clean and felt homey, the host was responsive and kind, and the area was beautiful and had lots to do. We are so happy we chose this home and location for a weekend away! We will definitely be back to experience Essex in the summer and fall.

Very comfortable and felt like home. We would recommend and stay again. Host was super friendly and made you feel like family! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Great Labor Day weekend stay in this cozy yet spacious home on the lake with an excellent fire pit and walk out lake access including amenities such as canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. The s’mores welcome package was indeed a nice touch.

Todd was very helpful with clear directions and instructions, and very friendly as well. We were staying for a family get together and felt right at home. The place was beautiful ! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of supplies provided, plenty of toilet paper paper towels and even coffee. I would recommend this place for sure 👌

Perfect get away. The place was very clean and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need perfect for cooking. The beds were comfortable and very clean. The view of the lake was amazing, very peaceful and exactly what we needed for a week end get away. The place was not far from the town, with very nice restaurants. Great experience. My husband rented the home for a week while working on a city project in Amherstburg. 7 men stayed at the home and they loved it. Very relaxing after a hard days work. We really enjoyed relaxing in this very claen and pristine home. Its definitely insulated properly with excellent windows etc because it stayed so warm on a cold winter day. The bed was very comfortable as well that provided great rest and relaxation. Kitchen was organized well and stocked with essential tools. They also had a special treat of chocolate and wine. The surroundings were also very peaceful and so quiet. While coming in the summer there would be more to do outside it was a great experience in the winter as well.

The location of this condo was perfect! Close enough to the downtown to enjoy the night life, and far enough away to get a bit of rest and relaxation.

We had a great stay at Eric and Scott’s! Location was perfect, rooms were even bigger than the pictures. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

The place was amazing. The view is just dreamy. The host was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable. If you are planning on cooking bring your salt/pepper, oil and all the spices you need. We brought our own coffee and cream. Also, we had blankets bc I like to be cozy and warm. Having the golf carts at the property was a plus. The pool was never crowded and the kids had tons of fun there! We will be back for sure!

The condo is very nice and Sequoyah has added the extras that made my stay great. The bedding was really soft and comfortable and the bed was adjustable!! I thought the phone charger cords for any kind of cell phone was a thoughtful touch and I appreciated the small refrigerator in the room. I only wish I had brought the sign-in information for the TV apps I subscribe to to use on Roku. This place was not far from my event and near shopping and restaurants. At first, I was not sure about going upstairs, but it wasn’t a big flight or difficult. Sequoyah met me outside and helped me carry my stuff. I thought that was considerate. The price was very reasonable and would, definitely, stay here again.

Had a great time at Albert’s place. Stunning views of Lake Erie and surrounding areas. The townhouse was well equipped and comfortable. Communication with the host was very easy, and the directions for finding the place were a great help. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay in Debra’s condo on PIB. Walk right out the back door to a gorgeous lakefront view. We used the cornhole boards and loved playing right in the nice sized common area by the water. Tom and Debra have gone at length to make the place feel like you’re staying with family, from a personal welcome note to snacks and drinks. We felt so at home. I’ve stay in other units in the building before but this has been the best. We love the location too, a short walk to downtown but just far enough to be peaceful and away from the chaos. The hotel next door also has a nice lakefront bar and late night food options. I’ll never stay anywhere else on the island if this unit is available! Thanks again for a great stay!

Would definitely stay here again, great gathering place with a few friends!
