Holiday houses in Derwent Reservoir

We had a lovely stay here. Me, my partner and dog felt right at home there was food and water bowls provided for our dog, towels provided for us, it was like home from home so cozy and so well decorated! We will definitely be returning when the weather gets nicer to enjoy the beach’s Thank you so much for having us!

We had the most amazing time with Susan and Jim- the kindest and warmest hosts we have ever met. By the time we left they felt like friends. The cottage is stunning- absolutely immaculate and much more spacious than the photos suggest. Lots of lovely walks and points of interest a short drive away or adventures further afield equally stunning. Waking to the sound of the stream and the sheep was so magical and listening to the owls hooting before bed just sealed our lovely days in Haltwhistle. We travelled with a 3 year old who absolutely loved feeding the sheep and exploring. I have left with lots of planned future adventures at Susan’s beautiful place. The perfect hosts, the perfect countryside retreat, the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle. I couldn’t recommend more. An absolute gem.

A really enjoyable couple of days away in a beautiful glamping pod. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The welcome basket was a lovely touch

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

Absolutely brilliant stay at Seaglass house. 6 mums on a child free weekend and it’s was perfect. House was beautifully presented with everything you need. Chrissie was very responsive to messages before and during our stay. Perfect location, 2 minute walk to the high street and seafront. Highly recommend a stay here! Thank you Chrissie

Fantastic value for money!! We booked the partridge hut for a quiet weekend away to start the year and were not disappointed. Even in yellow warning winds and torrential rain it was so cosy to be in the cabin with the heater on! It’s so private with lovely views over the river and lots of easy walks. The hut itself was immaculate and actually more spacious than we had anticipated, especially because we were bringing our dog with us. All in all perfect and Mike was so helpful and responsive. Would really recommend.

This is the second time staying at Debra's place. We couldn't wait to come back after the first time so didn't even look at any other places when booking. It's so cosy and feels like a home from home. Everything is always so spotlessly clean and there is always everything we need. Debra is a fab host and always responds when we have a question. The apartment is a perfect location to walk to town and to the local beaches. There is honestly nothing negative to say about this place. If you're planning to come to Seaham and go seaglass hunting then do not hesitate to book here. We can't wait to come back!

The Dairy is beautiful accommodation. Carrell is very helpful, friendly and provides an extensive welcome pack. We needed to extend the heating timer, Carrell came over within minutes of receiving my message and was very helpful. We have stayed here twice and hopefully we will be returning again in the spring .

very nice please , really comfortable in a nice quiet area, has all amenities and is very close to retail park with restaurants etc.. highly recommended
